There is no party that is not a good one. I always say this. it always boils down to the individual. Sulivan was PDP and the only reason PDP won again in the state was because he did quite well as a Governor of enugu state ppl dey call Enugu "small Abuja" so naturally all fell into place.

We got to onitsha at about 7.45 ( Madam dey inside moto with me and bomboy...erm..so no racing...not a good idea at all especially in this moto) and the roads were as free since it was still quite early....No wahala at all from any quarter ie...area boys, LGA Emblem boys,( My car carries a commercial plate number) am sure some of you understand what i mean!

Wen i passed God is Good park at the Asaba end of the Niger bridge omo...I no see single bus o and people berekete outside and inside....(Lomomike..no be only me dey waka o)

The stretch from Asaba to Benin was sweet! because by 10 am or so we had landed Benin...Popped in to see an uncle( we all have them scatterd every where abi>? ) and by 11.30 we took off again from the Sapele road end inside Benin....joined up to the benin bypass and continued onwards.

What's wrong with Abeokuta? You sound like the journey is too far by road or It's not safe to be there "at this time"? Abeg expantiate.

Elections are here and easter happens to be around the corner My wife and I had planned to leave for Abeokuta(was based there before I relocated to Enugu) for elections and have quality time with family members for the easter celebrations.

Car make and model: Mitsubishi L200 double cabin.

Fuel: Petrol

Rear wheel drive.

Proposed Take off time: 5:30 am


Car had already been serviced 2 weeks ago with the manufacturers recommended weight in oil. 20w50.

I had been checking my brake pads for wear and decided I change them 2 days ago as they were worn low.

Went hunting for fuel @ 87naira per litre as most independent fuel stations were selling for between 100 naira and 105. after queuing up to no avail at 2 different stations and my petrol reserve indicator had just lit up I finally got to buy at Oando along Ogui road. Filled up sharply. 60litres

Checked and gauged all tyres INCLUDING spare tyre ( funny most people don't ever remember to check or gauge spare tyres UNTIL it's time to use them > .

Checked my tool box, portable tyre inflator, fire extinguisher, Torchlight, All in order.

Worst car i have ever driven was a peugeot 404 pickup van. Dont know what valley of the shadow of death it passed through but i tell you i scaled through...it had a sideways walk very much like a dalmatian.... .

Gear shift was horrendous as even though manual i knew something was amiss...

Bad maintanance.....had no choice then neways.... it turned out to be indisposable!!
