DRC has always been the hotbed, the ground zero for most cases.

A pity Nigeria has not been able to provide travel advisories since the latest outbreak happened late last year.

Nigerians should not travel to the DRC for any reason whatsoever and on return they must be quarantined. We need to raise our game in Nigeria.

Our enormous population and por social services is the dream of any virus onslaught.

Yes I saw it. Saw another post from a different platform thst said London. However, this case is dead on arrival because those guys who gave that case already have committed a crime. Racketeering and lobbying for lands through backdoor, they were carrying 2m dollar cash too. I am sure you know the boys parents are grounded in Nigeria politics and legal system. The guys will be mindful of how far they are going with it too. If the deal went through they won’t have said anything

This is to tell you that a lot of cash worth millions of dollars could be moving in cash in Abuja daily exchanging hands. The case go long big time. His father and mother are grounded in Nigeria law and political system. At the end they may not get anything back. Na highest trap those guys fell into. Them too were corrupt if not why agree to give him case instead of send through electronic way. I am just wondering how much they should have been selling that land if the deal pulled through

I guess it is a typo error from another person reporting the news. Cause I have read it happened in the Uk on another platform. Thanks for the clarity. Meanwhile the company too should be getting ready for a counter she for money laundering and lobbing for contract. Why would they accept to carry cash and pay. If they don’t have to pay. Why not pay electronically through our banks

It is not supporting him it is a fact. I have one some 74k pounds through bank account in the Uk. The guy went to Nigeria. Efcc arrested him and took him to court. Firstly EFCC cannot put PND on a UK bank account. The court didn't do anything because the money was paid to him in the UK and in pounds too. They asked us to settle. At last Revolut bank was the one that paid back the money, like very very luckily for me. Even UK police said it is a civil case that I used my hand to send the money. Those guys were played and their greediness also killed them

Nigerian court won’t still do anything about it. The crime was committed in London and not in Nigeria. They will need to go make the case in the Uk but sadly they can’t also because why would you be carry 2m dollars cash. The UK company will go after their company. They should be mindful of how they are even pursuing this case. They could get a criminal charge in the Uk for money laundering

If the money was taken away from here to over see to his bank account then EFCC could do a thing about it but with the help of interpol. If not there is no hope for those guys. And they can’t go to interpol to them that they were carrying 2m dollars in cash while in London. It also puts them in hot soup. Nothing will come out come out of this case sadly

Back in the days they used to but in so many years now that has stopped. They don’t stamp it. If you come into Nigeria with an American passport both on leaving and entry they won’t stamp it. They only have to give you a digital copy from NIS or the country immigration website to show the date you came in or left the country if there is need to proof it or used such document. The only way they can do it is the customs and immigration service will provide the court the date he left Nigeria but from a passport point of view. No immigration or customs officer anywhere in the world stamps their passport. This is also my personal experience in the last 8 years and including my kids

If it can be established through the stamped page of the passport that he was not in Nigeria truly on the said day, then it is obvious the other parties are lying and trying to frame up the boy. If that is the case, it will be very unfortunate. Even at that, it is all wrong and illegal to try to bride the son of a Federal Minister with the sum of $2.1million to acquire land in the FCT. I am not a lawyer but I think the court should not even assume jurisdiction over any fallout from an illegal contractual agreement.

The Police should actually do a proper investigation and charge whoever is at fault for criminal offense.
