NNPCL has been selling fuel below the market price for more than 20 years, I wander why they haven't collapse but they will suddenly collapse like MTEL because they are selling crude to Dangote below the market price.

From 1100-1200/litre the NNPCL was buying it, he bought it down to less than 1000. It will get cheaper from next month when NNPCL start selling crude to him in naira

Mtn and Airtel sold at profit and made enough to offer better services. Mtel meanwhile was doing subsidies price, and eventually could not keep up.

The only country that sells crude at prices below international price is Russia, and that is because they are desperate.

Drilling crude is capital intensive...so a profit has to be made doing so. Selling at a loss or forcing drillers to sell at a loss, is a nice way of telling them that you want to drive them away from NIgeria.

The sad thing about life, is that people like to make money doing stuff. I wish it was not so.
