Despite all the money they collected, it's hardly used for anything good

Crime / Re: Bandits Abduct 10 In Zamfara, Demand ₦‎50 Million Ransom by observanc1: 9:37am On Aug 23
D3rd:
Way back, we didn't have words like "Kidnapped" in our national lexicon. It was a word hardly used or when used, referred to an occurrence in a foreign or far away land.

Then came the Niger Delta militants and the kidnapping of expat oil workers. Even at that, the target was never local.

Somehow, the expats withdrew or heavily militarized their operations making it near impossible to be kidnapped.

This criminal act was then legalized by the Musa Ya'radua administration with the granting of amnesty and enthronement of tribal militant lords. Ateke, Boyloaf, Asari, Tompolo, to mention a few.

The amnesty program opened the eyes of politicians up north to the gains of terror and the subsequent benefits politically.

Militancy brought about the NDDC. Today, terror has led to the creation of the NEDC, seperatist agitations in the South East has birthed the SEDC. More to come.

We have heard of repentant Boko Haram members being reintegrated and settled amongst the civil society and very soon might be handling security contracts like the likes of Tompolo are doing in the Niger Delta. It could be "FarmLand" security running into billions. What is good for Tompolo is surely good for Mai Taushe.

In conclusion, all these insecurities have political undertones. It was an open secret that the likes of Peter Odili, James Ibori, Alameiyesiegha and co were the sponsors of the Militants way back. We also know how they protected Tompolo from the Buhari regime until a truce was brokered. Same can be said of the North. A prominent former governor has been fingered, our VP is rumoured a major player, senators have been whispered to be in bed with bandits, traditional and religious leaders are not left out.

In all, just like the case with the Niger Delta, politicians and those enthroned warlords become the beneficiary of the chaos and not the common man. Tompolo is now a billionaire contractor with the federal government, Ateke is now a king in his native OkrikaLand, Asari is a yes man boy to any president at the Rock because of the huge followership he commands. He (Asari) is also rumoured to have a university in far away Benin republic.

Just to remind you, Ogoni is still an environmental wasteland, Torugbene has no link road(s), Bonny is still an explorative island, there are still no hospitals for the locals and access to qualitative education is still miles away for people living in Imiringi.

Who benefits from all these again?
you forgot to add that the terrorist kabiru sokoto, mastermind of madalla Christmas day bombing, was arrested in borno state government house, abuja. And he escaped from police cell

LMFAO. I'm guessing the blacks were busy beating drums and doing nothing when the said South Africa was being built ? grin. Nigerians grin. What do you coons even know what racism is when you constantly beg for recolonisation in exchange for shiny buildings? grin
Black South Africans were in the bush. Whiteman was chasing them away from one Bush to the and developing the land. Whiteman singlehandedly built South Africa completely, no joke, no banter.

Ramaphosa is a traitor. How does he get into bed with the racist DA? These people will connive and sabotage the government from within on behalf of their Western masters.
how is DA racist? DA is the party of the whiteman who are actually the ones that built SA from scratch to finish.

Religion / Re: 5 Keys To Kingdom Wealth by observanc1: 12:21pm On May 12
rexbuton:

Good question.
There are levels.
Riches are different from wealth, of which the highest is Kingdom wealth - the wealth that comes from the blessing. There are levels in this thing.

The bible makes it clear that there is a wealth that endures, the blessing that makes you rich without sorrow.
Thus, we can imply that there is riches with sorrows, either present sorrows or future sorrows. We see the external appearance of their riches, but they know the price they pay or have paid or will pay. People of the world around us know this already, so I won’t go into it.

Of course, God causes it to rain on the good and evil, but that daily rain cannot take you into Kingdom wealth. When you are in this level, your ways and path continue to shine brighter and brighter! When there is general economic downturn, you are exempted. Shalom!
same you that created another thread threatening to divorce your wife because she doesn't agree with your tithe scam

Africa really needs to upgrade. Why the empty stadium ? Is this interhouse sports competition?
it's an East African vs Southern African match, they surely couldn't have brought much supporters to ivory Coast.
See when west African countries (and even north Africans) are playing and see how full the stadium is because those ones' supporters can travel by road to ivory Coast.
Unlike Europeans that dont have work and all tickets are sold before the competition. Even in league u have people that buy whole season ticket and be following their clubs up and down as if they are paid to do that.
Africa that people are barely struggling to eat, it's to buy expensive tickets and take holiday and book flight and accommodation u say they should come and do.
Ivory Coast had to declare public holiday for their citizens to go and watch their match against Nigeria, when oyibo doesnt even declare public holiday for national elections - u go to work, come back and go and vote, no free food for anybody.
