Africa really needs to upgrade. Why the empty stadium ? Is this interhouse sports competition?
it's an East African vs Southern African match, they surely couldn't have brought much supporters to ivory Coast.
See when west African countries (and even north Africans) are playing and see how full the stadium is because those ones' supporters can travel by road to ivory Coast.
Unlike Europeans that dont have work and all tickets are sold before the competition. Even in league u have people that buy whole season ticket and be following their clubs up and down as if they are paid to do that.
Africa that people are barely struggling to eat, it's to buy expensive tickets and take holiday and book flight and accommodation u say they should come and do.
Ivory Coast had to declare public holiday for their citizens to go and watch their match against Nigeria, when oyibo doesnt even declare public holiday for national elections - u go to work, come back and go and vote, no free food for anybody.

Hmnnn, we are watching.
I know this seun zero tolerance on name checking of criminals will not work when the checked names are igbos.
There been a lot of criminals committed by yorubas that grace frontpage. And lots of comments on them deleted.
Now see tribalists having a field day on this thread and nothing is being done about it

Chinaza Philip, kidnapper from south while keeping his victims in the north. There are a lot of big men and oga at the top who's this people are kidnapping for.
There cants be solutions to this kind of problem when the big people in the society are assembly boys to kidnap for their own selfish gain.
We have all suffered so much in this county already. rich or poor should be able to enjoy the benefit of his or her labor without the fear of being a prey for a ragtag in the society.

#Stop the kidnappings in Nigeria now.

learn to read English.. I said this is the "weakest" ..meaning this team is weaker than the other ones we've sent before.
To answer your question, when we won the tournament, when we got second place in 1998, and when we got 3rd place in 2000
The team that had the likes of McCarthy, Radebe, Fortune, Fish, etc etc.. tell me that team wasn't strong
nonsense. U "won" when our former of state Abacha refused to let our national team participate in the tournament. How can south africa win the tournament if Nigeria is there? Have u won after that? Naija even won in south africa
