Section 11, labour law states how contract of employment can be terminated.
Section 11 subsection 2 states :The notice to be given for the purpose of subsection 1 of dis section shall be:
a: one day notice where d contract has continued for a period of 3 months or less
b: one week where d contract has continued for more than 3 months but less Dan 2 yrs.
C: notice of 2 weeks where d contract has continued for 2 yrs but less 5yrs
D: one month where the contract has continued for five or more
Subsection 3 states that any notice for a period of one week or more shall be in writing.

Back.to.d.matter its very important to give notice.

Abeg engineering companies it's a shame, when u remove oil nd gas nd some good ones in power sector like Sahara,the rest you'll be hearing 50-80k during training nd Maybe 120-150 after training but that training go be like one year or over, no wonder those engineers that can't get oil nd gas keep running to banks. Anyway good news is in oil nd gas, u have ranges from 200-400 in and could also be as high as 750-850 when u get to multinational e nd ps. Tho indigenous oil firms still pay as low as 50k tho. so it's really a very wide range in here.

Oct 11 is still very recent. Just be patient you'll get a call from them. During my time it took about 1 month after the second online test to receive a call from them scheduling me for a phone interview appointment.

Yes, uploading 'extraneous' copies such as NYSC discharge, transcripts, university degree certificate, copies of scholarship(s) or awards, if any, that you won while in UG helps to support your application strongly and make it stand out from others. I strongly recommend that. During my time I uploaded my transcripts(I was lucky I had them with me already), copies of my scholarship awards while in UG(all combined into one PDF file), copy of my degree certificate, and copy of my NYSC call-up letter(I was still serving then). The recruiters take time to review everyone's application and their documents uploaded. This is where you can leave a good impression on them by uploading those documents. Uploading those documents are optional, I know, but the option was put online for a reason. It's all common sense.

NSE is just an engineering association but COREN is an engineering regulatory body. You can't practice engineering legally in Nigeria without being a registered member of COREN. COREN is more important but NSE should be easier to join. A fresh graduate can join NSE but to join COREN, you need at least 4 years of comprehensive engineering work experience.

Also, what documents did you upload during your application? ie transcripts, NYSC discharge letter/call-up letter etc?

Well, I think they need to see those documents that shows he qualifications u claim to have during your appliocation.

And for the conversion to JPG, just copy the material (eg picture) to be converted to MS powerpoint slide, paste it and 'save as' JPG or any other fomat u want from the drop-down menu.
