BusinessRe: Failure To Remove Fuel Subsidy Will Lead To Economy Collapse – GEJ by ochizo(m): 7:25pm On Oct 25, 2011
manny4life:
What I think the plan is if he removes subsidy, increases licenses to import petrol, that will cause competition and that will automatically drive the cost down. If that is the plan, there he needs to execute it properly. Personally, I think the adverse effect won't be that worse like be thought it to be.
So sorry thats not the plan.

Now what will happen after the removal of fuel subsidy?
Currently demand is high which Nigeria is struggling to provide because of the same importation which is becos of our bad refineries.

Now removing subsidy will increase demand and supply will still be static which implies that demand will grow far far higher than supply and we all know what happens in this condition. The masses are going to suffer from this, the economic will collapse becos the citizens will collapse.

Event small N18k minimum wage na problem to implement, GOODLUCK EBELE JONATHAN how do you expect a man that earns less than 18k a month to live!!!

I think Mr Presido should be very careful in making and implementing decisions so that it doesn't result to a volcanic eruption.

I'm so so disappointed in him.  Mostimes "The devil u knw is better than the angle you dont know"

Propagandist!!!!

Americans said they spent $2bn and never said they would recoup it from Libya's foreign reserve. Even if they say so, Libya's reserve is over $150bn and that is aside Gaddafi's wealth frozen in western banks.

A case of borrowing Libya funds to rebuild their country would not arise!!!
I think you need to wake up to see the modern way of colonialism, Ghadafi was captured alive, who killed him? There are alot of African countries suffering, but they choose to interfere in the Oil rich countries, Broda Wake up pls,

We should be able to think beyond there words,

Do you know Libya foreign reserve has been frozen? angry

Do you know America, UK, France and others are going to collect back all fund spent on NATO from Libya's foreign reserve which will eventually leave Libya with nothing? angry angry

Do you that the same America, UK, France and others will then provide Libya loan to rebuild what they (America, UK, France and others) destroyed in Libya? shocked shocked cry

Because they've provided loans implies they are in control and they've captured Libya. This is the modern colonialism, WAKE UP AFRICA huh huh!!! Nigeria be warned.

The Russian Premier also said NATO's effectively joined one of the warring sides in the conflict. And more responsible action should be taken instead"

PoliticsRe: Analysts Express Divergent Views On Okonjo-Iweala's Policies by ochizo(m): 2:59pm On Oct 18, 2011
I don't agree with this policies because there's nothing in place to carter for all these policies.

Chinua Achebe said it "The problem with is that Nigeria is trying to adapt to the constitution of a developed country while they are not developed". I can also remember there's a saying "Cut your coat according to your size".

Nigerians leave in trial , they are never sure of what they want to do , na try try dem dey always do.

I think they should focus on more important things like power, road, security, education etc.

I really dont know if they think before they do or do before they think.

Shame to Nigeria, Big ups to the Nigerian who will always stand to fight our useless goverment.

I laff Nigeria, I laff Nigeria well well

PoliticsRe: Ijaw Militants To Boko Haram: “Enough Is Enough” by ochizo(m): 10:21am On Sep 27, 2011
The truth about this whole thing is that "What is Boko Haram fighting for?"

Let me start from Niger Delta, Have you been to Niger Delta, ? Do you know they can no longer fish, no clean water, no good roads, air pollution everywhere?
The Gov. caused it all, The neglected the hand that was feeding them, white men in the name of Shell, Agip, Chevron insulted and destroyed our land and youths because money was paid to our useless, foolish Gov.
Niger Delta issue is something anybody would want to do. And the Militants never bombed drinking joints, people's hang out spots, innocent people or even threaten schools. I can also recall the Militants never attacked Muslims as they were after the Gov. that has brought harm to them.

Boko Haram started from no where. Who are they fighting? What are they fighting for. You cant force the Gov. to convert the northern states to sharia states. What is the relationship with what they are fighting for and the bombed UN Building. Why have they chosen to attack people that knows nothing about everything. Yes our Gov. is nothing to write home about but they should know what they are fighting for and who they should fight and how they should fight.

I'm really not happy, not because of Boko Haram or MEND but because of our useless Gov and our so-called big politicians who has been using the poor ignorant youths to display there powers.

The people on top are the ones pushing all these.

For Me, Nigeria is a failed state. I pray for myself instead of Nigeria.

I just called somebody from UNIBEN and its confirmed that students are vacating the hostels and even the school premises.

I think its high time this BOKO Haram pple get what they actually want. Its also obvious that the so-called emirs are aware of all these as none of them has said anything about it. We (Christians), South, West, East etc has always been on the receiving end. Maybe when we relocate to the giving-end they will stop taking us for granted.

Bunch of illiterates, Fools, Idiots.

SportsSuper Eagles Launch Glo-branded Jerseys In London by ochizo(op): 11:51am On Sep 09, 2011
The Super Eagles have launched their new Glo-branded jerseys.

The team came out in a sparkling new Glo-branded training wear for the first time last on Monday preparatory to their postponed international friendly against Ghana in London.

The squad was decked in their new outfit which has the Glo logo prominently displayed under the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) badge for their trainings and during the world press conference at Vicarage Road Stadium, Watford.

The Super Eagles also used the opportunity to take group promotional photographs for the sponsoring company, Globacom.

The international friendly match between Nigeria and Ghana has however been postponed due to the London riots.

It will be recalled that telecommunication giant, Globacom, signed a five-year sponsorship agreement with the NFF in July this year worth about N1.8billion naira.

BusinessRe: Federal Government Plans 3 Coal-fired Power Stations To Generate 3,000 Megawatts by ochizo(m): 4:40pm On Sep 07, 2011
I think this is another Money diversion strategy.

The FG has initiated alot of things with no conclusion because the funds for such projects will later be diverted to private pockets.

The ones championing the the 3 Coal-fired Power Stations are still the ones importing generators.
