Hope for the blind.
Artist neil harbisson was born completely color blind,but these days a device drilled into his skull, help turn colors into audible sounds. Instead of seeing this just as black and white, harbisson can hear a symphony of color- and even listen to faces and paintings.
# he was born 2July 1982
# born in belfast ireland... Raised in catalonia
# studied music at Darlington college of arts in Devon.
# uk passport authority opposed him using a passport picture showing his implanted antenna, which he later won on the ground that it is his body part.
# one of the worst days of his life was in 2012 in barcelona when police pulled out the camera from his antenna.. Leaving him returning home with dangling wires. Police thought he was filming a demonstration while really he was just taken a walk around.
# his antenna aches him. Just as we average humans have headaches, CYBORG ARTIST neil harbisson feel what he calls antenna ache. And usually disappears after taken pain relieve medication.
He is regarded as world first cyborg artist. .
NEIL....might not be completely blind, but these no doubt give alot of hope to the blind and other physically challenged and perhaps everyone passing through any incurable ailment today. With science and technology never say never. We can break boundaries.
