In Nigeria currently, a few people may be billionaires and millionaires individually, with the capacity to afford the best health care in the world, but collectively (as a people), we are poor.

What this means is, we currently cannot afford a rapid response in the case of an health care or fire emergency. Sometimes, I am driving and stuck in traffic, and there is an ambulance behind blaring his siren and probably trying to get a dying person to the nearest hospital, but then he is also moving slowly in traffic.

Look at this incident involving Anthony Joshua. It took a while for him to be rescued from the wreck and evacuated. And he was even evacuated with a damn hilux!

Even for a billionaire, emergency can knock on the door at any time, and in the weirdest of places where help can be hard to get. As a billionaire in Nigeria, you will spend a lot trying to set up structures (helicopter evacuation, standby medical team, standby fire service, security, etc) that will guarantee the safety and survival of you and your family if there is an emergency. But that is something even a common cleaner in a developed nation gets access to.

We all watched you relentlessly defend a seller who had a terrible reputation as regards customer service here.

Your excuse for the seller was that the buyer who brought up the issue did not provide evidences. Credible patrons of the seller shared their own negative experiences, some with evidences. But you either stood on your unfounded defence of lack of evidence or you guilt-tripped the ones who provided evidence. It was really nauseating and annoying to watch you do all those.

And in all of these, the seller never even bothered to tell her own side of the story to pacify the buyer who first shared his negative experience, and you also didnt deem it fit to at least apologise to the buyer for invalidating and watering down the customer disservice he suffered.

Instead, you have been dishing out legal threats here and there. You need to calm down. You are beginning to troll and constitute a nuisance on this thread. I Always confirm too before I move, even though some riders get angry when I ask them this. Yesterday morning, I carried makeup artist and her crew from Somolu area. She and her equipment and her crew were going to Taiwo street in Ejigbo. I called to confirm. She said she hasn't been there before, but that i should follow map. I said okay.

I got to drop off point and when they called the person, they realized they were actually going to Taiwo street at Arepo (that's on the way to Mowe/Ibafo.) I pity them sha, but I dont normally go that far, so I just took them to a good location where they can get Uber and drove home.

It is always wise to ask where exactly the rider is going. In my case, the girl should have asked the person she was going to meet about the specific area they were going. If she did that, when I told her the area we're heading to is in ejigbo, she would have known before we moved that it's not the area she was suppose to go to.

I used to be one of the riders and patrons of dispatch riders who get angry when drivers ask me this question, but I got enlightened by you guys here and also got a first hand negative experience of it. My only annoyance is drivers that use your response as an opportunity to negotiate higher prices even if the app has recommended a fair price.

U don't need a sign post to tell u that u are driving one-way on a dual carriage way. The last time I went to that Elegushi beach, I had to go and turn at a very far point to come back. Going back to VI too was same thing. People were passing one-way but I refused. Instead of passing one-way, I rather stay away from that axis and since then I haven't gone to that place again. For two years I have gone to Elegushi beach only twice.

I am glad that roofing is a topic at the moment. An engineer recommended flat roof for me as a way to save cost. I smiled when I read here you are against it. I decided against it too.

Now I am at the point of roofing my project and I can't decide between aluminium and metro. The latter is cheaper in terms of the material but I was told that when I combine the cost of Purlins used to do it that it will amount to the same cost of using Aluminium.

Now I am confused : they say for aesthetics that Metro looks good in the eyes.

I was wondering in terms of heat resistance which one absorbs more heat because I plan that my folks will stay at the top floor when done.

Why would anyone one of you go for Metro and not Aluminium?

Funny enough, these days stone-coated tiles are actually cheaper than aluminium longspan…
The only thing is; they gulp a lot more wood during installation because of the batten system.

So while the sheet price is friendly, you have to budget for the extra woods compare to aluminium roofing sheet.

I am not sure it is accurate to say that stone-coated tiles is cheaper than aluminium long-span. Remember that the 2 units that is sold for stone-coated tiles as a square-meter is not up to a square-meter for the aluminium long-span. So, if you factor in the short-fall, you may land at same price with the long-span.

But a major advantage i see for the stone-coated is that it offers more safety and balance when installing solar panels because of the extensive wood it requires.

Hello everyone, can someone please recommend a neater, respectable and cheaper alternative to P.O.P ceiling (the one that's constructed from scratch).
I'm personally not a fan because of the duration of construction, the expense, and also the wastefulness of materials. I'm also not a fan of the designs and the clownish lights that make bedrooms look like clubhouse or beer parlor.
I'm also not a fan of polystyrene for reasons like heat, fire, and lightness.

I'll appreciate if anyone can recommend other alternatives especially for bedrooms and kitchen. For the living rooms, POP can be constructed for them.

Most Bifacials with higher wattage are cheaper than front alone panels. A bifacial of 610w is rated with the front and not the back. With the back you can get 30% above rated capacity. So you can use them on roofs if you want but you'll get more if used on a reflective place that gives the under sun light
