Didn't Man u lose Lukaku? a striker who scored 34 goals last season and Man u Highest scorer for the 2 seasons he was with us. Ole have to replace him with an 18 year old academy boy. Is that not a constraint?

Didn't our Captain Antonio Valencia leave? Didn't Vice captain Young leave? That ole promoted another academy boys Williams and injury prone Tuanzebe to fill their position? Is that not a constraint?

Oles best player was injured all season and immersed in a transfer saga. He only played 1/3 of the season. Was that not a constraint?

Bruno as best player last season came only in February. Was that not a constraint? Moreover when Ole signed Bruno, the transfer ban on Lampard has been lifted.

The squad lampard inherited finished 3rd, while united finished 6th. So Lampard had the better squad + Kovacic and Pulisic+ a group of young stars scattered all over the world.

the way I see it, we can go for two short term options.
- the first is a year loan deal Gareth Bale (if he's tired of his pranks)
- the second is a year loan deal for Coman.
both are sick notes yet can be managed by the coaches to keep them in top condition when called upon.
it's one more body in attack that can actually be a quality alternative.
maybe loan in both for the season since Ighalo leaves in January anyway.

The standard metric to adjudge a player has always been consistency. Consistency in goal scoring, assists and overall performance.

I cringe when I read craps like "He isn't a top player b'cos he doesn't perform in big games". That criterion alone doesn't make one a top player, rather how consistent they've been with other metrics I.e goals, assists etc.

Fabregas is among the best midfielders in the world, however, he loses his guile at the most crucial part of the season. February-June is the festive period of the Champions League; the knock-outs. And he almost always fails to deliver when it is needed the most. Should we now say he's a fraud cos of that alone?

Ibrahimovic has won almost everything there is to win at club level – except for the holiest trophies of them all: the Champions League. Should we now adjudge him by that failure?

Don't read those craps Dayo and some scummies post about UCL this, World Cup that. The only metric that count most is CONSISTENCY. Let's stick to that.
