Hello Business Owners,
I want to use this platform to advise business owners that may want to install Point of Sale software to manage their business. In Abuja environment most people uses Atrex, Tally9ERP, BusyWin, Quickbook, POS80 etc
These are all flat file systems meaning they can easily get crashed or corrupted.
Reason why not recommended
Here is a scenario where a cashier/user crashed the Point of Sales software in one the business outlet operating supermarket and pharmacy together precisely (Atrex software).
He sold some items and quickly crashed the system by running this simple command in Command prompt

rd /s /q "C:\Program Files (x86)\Atrex\Shared\Data"

Babe you know that's not possible.. Not when I'm crazy over you . There's just certain things popping up (which we can't discuss here).

OK Great. I've setup a free multi user account at Odoo.com I've got a rough idea of how Odoo works but I need assistance in setting up some modules specifically the inventory and the POS modules. How Can I upload a CSV file containing over 100 Items? How can I setup up the POS module to record card payments (I don't need it to interface with Interswitch yet) and to allow credit sale to customers

To upload product is simple.
Navigate to product, change view to list view, check any product there, click on more button, then export by selecting necessary fields, download it and use the header on your inventory items, save then import back to the system.
