Happy 62nd birthday to Prof. Zacchaeus Adangor SAN, DSSRS, MCIArb, ksc, a distinguished lawyer, seasoned politician, and philanthropist. You are a man of many firsts in Ataba and Andoni at large. Today, we celebrate your remarkable life, achievements, and the profound impact you've had on many lives. As a testament to your impressive credentials, you've had a notable political history, running for election successfully as a Councillor in the old- Bonny Local Government Council in 1991 long before many current Andoni politicians could face the electorate. Your accomplishments in the legal profession and political sphere intimidate some, but we recognize that lawyers, like yourself, are often among the most effective politicians globally. Your selflessness, wisdom, and leadership have empowered countless individuals to reach their full potential in business, politics, and academia. We salute your courage and congratulate you on your milestone accomplishments. Here's to many more years of good health, happiness, and continued service to humanity. May your birthday be filled with joy, love, and celebration. Once again, Happy Birthday Prof.

Dear Prof. Zacchaeus Adangor,SAN The Odumu family of Ngbrigbo Compound, Egwe-Aja village, extends our heartfelt gratitude to you for your unwavering dedication to Ataba Kingdom. Your selfless actions have proven you to be a true son of the kingdom, with a heart full of compassion and kindness. As a young admirer in the early 90s, I fondly recall your victorious campaign for councillorship, representing Ataba at the old Bonny LGA. The catchy song "Adangor our councillor", Adangor, Adangor our Councillor" still resonates with us, symbolizing the community's unity and support for your leadership. Your triumph brought joy and progress to Ataba, and we celebrate your achievements. Although we lost touch over the years, your love for Ataba Kingdom has only grown stronger. Your patriotic and rewarding efforts to attract development projects to Ataba Kingdom such as the completely remodeled and upgraded GCSS Ataba, payment of stipends to Sanitation Marshals drawn from both Wards of Ataba Kingdom as a form of empowerment Scheme and single-handedly facilitating the classification of our Okaan- Ama stool as Rivers State Govt Recognized second -class Chieftaincy Stool and recognition of our monarch as the incumbent on the stool, have not gone unnoticed. Your generosity, particularly during the yuletide season, has warmed the hearts of our people. Furthermore, you attracted the construction of two(2) internal roads in Ataba Kingdom through the World Bank C4 programme and COVID - 19 Empowerment Scheme. The C4 programme ensured the employment of at least 60 Ataba sons and daughters for the duration of the projects which lasted for 1 year. You also facilitated the employment of several Ataba sons and daughters into the Rivers State Civil and Public Service. We pray that God continues to bless and replenish your resources, granting you good health and elevated status. May your selflessness inspire others, and may Ataba Kingdom continue to flourish under your service. Thank you, sir, for being a shining example of Ataba's values and traditions. We are honored to have you as a patriotic son of Ataba Kingdom. Sincerely, The Odumu Family. |
BEAUTIFUL ATABA AT SUNSET... As the sun began its descent into the horizon, the Ataba Kingdom, nestled on an island in the Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, transformed into a tranquil oasis. The warm orange hues of the setting sun danced across the calm waters of the Niger Delta, casting a serene ambiance over the island community. The thatched roofs of the traditional houses, adorned with intricate carvings, seemed to glow with an inner warmth as the sun's rays kissed them goodbye. The sound of gentle lapping of the water against the shore and the sweet melodies of birds returning to their nests filled the air, creating a symphony of peace. As the sun dipped lower, the sky was set ablaze with shades of pink, purple, and blue, a breathtaking sunset that seemed to stretch on forever. The people of Ataba Kingdom, a mix of fishermen, farmers, and artisans, emerged from their homes to behold the spectacle, their faces filled with a sense of wonder and gratitude for this little slice of paradise they called home. |
BEYOND PARTISAN POLITICS 3 By Gogo Ebirien Nteogwuile I have not been to Ataba Town for couple of years until recently when I attended the burial of the father of the Chairman of the Obolo Youth Coalition - Rivers State Chapter Comr. Jonathan Jojo and I saw the Modern Government Comprehensive Secondary School Ataba widely believed to have been influenced by the immediate past Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General of Rivers State, Prof. Zacchaeus Adangor SAN, I double my respect and love for him. In one of our meetings with the former Governor of Rivers State, and the incumbent Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Chief Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike - CON, GSSRS in Government House, he bluntly told us, "if you said that I am concentrating development in Ikwerre speaking LGAs, soon one of you will be governor of Rivers State, developed your area, by so doing the whole Rivers State will be Dubai of Nigeria", there is needs to prioritize the development of your people, once you have opportunity to do so. I was very much younger when one of our kinsmen was appointed Honourable Commissioner for Works and Transportation in the Old Rivers State (now Rivers and Bayelsa States), he was busy working in other places with the hope of coming to his place later to develop before the Military aborted and uprooted the government, till today he hasn't gotten another opportunity to develop his place. Please, do not misconstrued this writeup to mean that and elected or appointed government officials should spread developmental projects, but understand that it's only a native of a locality that can fully understand the primary needs of his/her people, therefore once you have the privilege, please prioritize the development of your people and your place. Today, if Hon. Mene of Winyakara-Ogoni (forgive my spelling if it's wrong) visit his place or most parts of the Ogoni, he is being regarded as a Lord because of his impacts during his short time as the Director of Finance and Projects at NDDC we should copy this step, an Andoni man once served as a Director in NDDC yet even in his own Town, nothing to show for it, several Andoni elites served in top offices in Government from 1999 till date, and have almost nothing to be remember for except inciting the youths and buying arms for the youths instead of educational scholarships, skill acquisitions, vocational training, developmental projects, human capital development, etc. While we fight and protect our political interests, the superior interests should be the development of your people and Area because that is why God brought you there.🤔 |
Nigerians are always bad losers. If PDP had won, APC will come out with similar damning report and bring INEC reputation to question. However, in a contest such as this, a winner and loser must emerge. The election tribunal is urged to consider all the reported infractions and deal with the cases appropriately. |
If there was any gentleman agreement between Gov Sim Fubara and Fmr Gov Nyesom Wike, there is nothing wrong for them to lock themselves inside a room and discuss it. Peace is priceless. Terror is senseless. Let's give peace a chance!!! |
This is a very poorly scripted article. No politician in Nigeria is totally free from corruption. Singling out Rivers state politicians for this stupid article can not stop APC from winning or promote PDP to win. It is the party with the numbers that can win. |
The problems bedeviling the PDP and APC are hinged on the ambition of Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Gov. Nyesom Wike of Rivers state. Once they suspend or shelve their ambition, at least for 6 months, the parties will be focused. |

Nigerians are still baffled by the action of the man of God. What exactly does Bishop Oyedepo meant by the unproductive of the pastors he sacked? |
