Congrats on the positive assessment. 70% completion rate. What's your age point? English test? How much points in total. Will it fetch you ITA easy?

In months time you can claim 15points for experience, so if you don't have the suitable English score now, aim forrit within this time frame.
Thanks.
Age-25
eng(ielts)-10 but preparing for pte, trusting God for 20points,
spouse's assessment is ongoing already, so I can claim 5points from DT.

Please house, what can be done if one enters a wrong ANZSCO code and assessment status is already stating "with Assessor"?

Also, what can be used as further proofs, for some job references submitted from companies that paid salaries in cash?

I think you should add your OND to get the full point.
Thanks oga Bellong for your response , should I put the ond cert and transcript in one PDF document with my OAU cert and degree, so that they will be seen as one episode or should they be in different PDF documents and be seen as 2 different episodes?

Your story is really long.
Anyways, how many years was your course?
What school and how many years of experience do you have?

Acs will most likely deduct more than two years, but the good thing is they don't mind deducting these years from work experience gained before you graduated Uni.
Answer the above questions and we will answer you better.
. Pls how can one go about making them deduct from d experience gained while in school only? Did 2yrs ND program in a fed poly, did 1yr IT in 2003-2004, did direct entry to OAU(200L - 500L) did 3months IT at d end of part 2&3, also did 6months IT in part 4 second semester ,den went for nysc after 500L

Are you sure you want to go down this route? So that we are on the same page, Do you mean that you want to manufacture work experience from thin air?

This is misrepresentation and I'll advice you don't go ahead with that plan to avoid stories that touch the heart.

...and if that isn't what you meant, pray explain yourself better.

How can I use the work experience done while in school, if truly ACS can use d work experience in school and gv me points for the experience gained after school

Pls i need your advise on the best way to go about this, i need to be to able to claim as much points i can get for my working experience:
i studied computer science and graduated from a federal polytechnic in 2002 , i had 1 year IT in 2003/2004, did direct entry into federal university to study computer science, after 200L we had SIWES prog in 2005(its like an IT prog) for 3 months, in 300l in 2006, we had another 3 months IT, in 400L in 2007 we had 6 months IT and then graduated in 2008, went to serve in 2009. i am currently working with an ICT company since 2012 to date.

With the possibility of ACS deducting 2 yrs from the experience, relying only on my experience in my current place of work might not give me the required points i need to get an ITA, not even with the competition with the prorata occupations.

i cant get reference letters from those places i did IT and wasn't even paid for all the periods i did the IT progs but i spoke to a senior friend who has event management company about giving me a reference that will cover for all those IT periods before 2012 when i started working with my current company, and she has agreed to it.

The issue is i dont have any other proof to back this up except for the reference letter she will give me. Pls how do you think i shld handle this given i need all the points i can claim for work experience?

Hope having all the experience in one letterhead will not look scattered cos the periods are not back-to-back? for e.g 1st IT after my ND is 2003/2004, 2nd 3months IT is 2005, 3rd 3months IT is 2006, 4th 6months IT is 2007, then NYSC and post is 2009 - 2012.

Also, i have been reading that its possible to write IT experiences while in school as part time jobs, how true is ds pls?

Your candid advise will be appreciated, Thanks
Apologies for the long post but Plz don't forget me here oooo

For ACS,
Your job roles description is what is most important here, it must properly align with ACS standard
If you are willing, you can send me a PM to get a second or third eye on the reference letters for you and your friend.

For the tittle a simple Business Analyst will be sufficient.

As to whether OAU/FUAAB is a tier 1 or 2, from my experience, it does not carry much weight as the ICT content in your transcript, both of which are out of your control and you can't do anything about it since it is whatever it is already.
Therefore your focus should be on an airtight reference letter that can get you maximum point in one single shot.

Thanks so much for this info, i will definitely send you a PM

Good day good people, a friend gave me this link that I can get information here that can help my pursuit of getting my Australian PR visa; pls I need clarity on assessment especially the reference letter bit, I have gone through the occupation list and found what I do currently is similar to the job descriptions of an ICT business Analyst but my issue right now is that my job title in my current place of work doesn't bear "ICT business analyst", pls advise me on how and what to ask the HR to write in the reference letter as my job title, because I am about to send my credentials to ACS for assessment, I don't want any issue with them or not have any points from the assessment of my working experience and this is same issue a friend too has, she works in a bank and has her job descriptions similar to the job descriptions of an ICT business analyst but she has a different job title.

Also which universities are tier 1 or tier 2. pls is Obafemi Awolowo University and Federal University of Agriculture of Abeokuta tier 1 or tier 2 universities, want to be sure my friend and I can have our full points for education qualification. hope someone that studied computer science in a federal university of agriculture can still be awarded full points of 15 for education qualification?

Will really appreciate your helpful response.

Thanks
