This body monitor the universities in Nigeria to know those schools whose’s equipment is not updated or valid, also notice those whose’s equipment is standard in other for the schools to produce qualified graduates.

For candidates who applied to any of these universities for the 2012/2013 academic year, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has been requested to assist in distributing qualified candidates to other universities of their choice.

The above shows students already chose them, students already passed their entrance exam and also, students have already been admitted. By implication, it means that the schools will lose all their 1st students as the students would be reassigned to other schools.

olawalebabs: If my memory should serve me right (which i believe, it did), the ban was issued sometimes around july last year, that is why the admission process refered to read 2012/2013.

That is the session we are in now. The current aspirants who would be writing JAMB soon are 2013/2014 session.
