PoliticsRe: Agbakoba Seeks Punishment For Interim Govt Planners by oenamaus1(m): 11:00am On Mar 31, 2023
[quote author=OfoIgbo post=122187513]The ruling party won, because they rigged it.

LP won that election, that's why a military government or an interim government will be better than a Tinubu government.

Agbakoba should also know that there is no provision in our constitution for an undemocratically selected government, like what Tinubu is trying to attempt.
That is the main treason. For your mind you think you're undercover abi, DDS nite this guy, he's one of them.

Your architecture training has already prepared you well to be a first-class Software Developer or even Software Architect.

In the UK, I trained as an Aerospace Engineer over a four years period, in between my holiday breaks, I would complete three months of boot camps training in system analysis, C Language and C++ this was in the early 1990s, within three months of graduating, I was being offered graduate trainee jobs, with the like of IBM Business Consulting. I went back into Engineering but after 5 years, returned to IT and have never looked back.

The same skill that is required to design a house is required to design an E2E application like a fuel and freight management system for Shell or SITA.

If you are very good at your job you can be running your company with a small team of developers working on complex projects and fulfilling your dreams and independence.

My advice is that you take on the boot camp training, we live in the digital age.

Good luck

Word from the representative of the Elders.

My brother @OP,
Knowing well that both Archi. & CODING takes time and serious commitments and practicing:

1. GO FOR CODING.
2. RUN HND LATER.
3. If two of them can run parallel with 65% CODING Physical presence, then HND 40%, RUN THE TWO PACKAGE CAREFULLY. Thanks elder stateman

I wish you Goodluck.

Good evening dear all, I am a guy around 30years, learnt draftsmanship and then went ahead to obtain a Diploma in Architectural technology.
I have been practicing for years now and I must say I'm good at what I do,at least I make money from the drawings, building executions and supervisions. I have read countless times how lucrative and the prospect coding and programming comes with in this age.
The question is, I have obtained the HND form of Federal polytechnic Ado but there's this program I registered for online and I have been selected out many appliccants to be part of the 50 persons that would be trained for 4 months for 7 days a week,(Monday to Wednesday virtual classes and Thursday to Sunday physical classes)
note: this comes with stipends but the bone of contention is once given admission for HND it would be upheaval to run such a program with my academics because Architecture itself comes with lots of commitments.
Extra.. During my ND days, I couldn't keep a girlfriend because Architecture no be your mate, outta about 120 of us, we had just 6 females and many didn't graduate with us because of their complacency.
Please i could make use of advices.

PoliticsDr. Kayode Fayemi Suspended. by oenamaus1(op): 6:11pm On Apr 11, 2017
# Ekiti State House of Assembly Fine The Minister of Solid Minerals, Dr Kayode Fayemi 1M Naira#
Arising from the plenary Session of the 5th Ekiti State House of Assembly today Tuesday 11 April 2017, this house passed the following resolutions:
1. That a reminder letter be written to the Nigeria Police Force through the IGP to effect the warrant issued by this honourable house and arrest Dr Kayode Fayemi with immediate effect.
2. That the sum of 1M Naira been the cost incurred by this house during the activities surrounding his invitations be imposed on Dr Kayode Fayemi as a fine to serve as deterents to future heady elements and bullies of democracy.
It's is Public knowledge that this honourable house invited the Minister of Solid Minerals, Dr John Kayode Fayemi at 3 consecutive times spanning a period of one year as follows.
1. The 1st invitation was sent on March 10th 2016
2. The 2nd invitation was sent on November 29th 2016.
3. The 3rd Invitation was sent on February 2nd 2017.
Rather than attend to these invitations by the EKHA as empowered by section 129, 1c, of the constiturion of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and come to the Assembly to explain himself on allegations of corruption and abuse of offfice levied against him by the executive arm of Government, Dr Fayemi prefers to play to the gallery.
He shadow boxed himself by putting his face at the laws of our land, thus constituting a serious affront and threat to the sustenance of democracy in Nigeria.
Section 129, 1c, of the constitution of the FRN granted us express powers to invite anybody for informations and clarifications, especially on matters of evidence.
This same constitution bearing in mind some heady elements and bullies of democracy also empowered this house under section 129,1d, to issue warrant to compel the attendance of such lawbreakers.
This we have done and Dr Fayemi was officially declared wanted on February 7th 2017 and the police was adequately communicated through the IGP to effect his arrest forthwith.
Up till this moment the police has failed to carry out their constitutional duties as confer by the 1999 constitution of the FRN.
This breach of the law of the land is one too many on the part of Dr John Kayode fayemi and stands condemned by this house and all lovers of democracy and the rule of law.
Going from the above, this house today officially declare the Minister of Solid Minerals, Dr Kayode Fayemi as a law breaker and in exercising our powers under section 129,1d, of the 1999 constitution of Nigeria hereby impose a fine of 1M against Dr Fayemi and payable to the EKHA.
Section 129, 1d, says and I quote... order him to pay all cost which may have been occasioned in compelling his attendance or by reason of his failure, refusal or neglect to obey the summons and also to impose such fine as may be prescribed for any such failure, refusal or neglect, and any fine so imposed shall be recoverable in the same manner as a fine imposed by a court of law
As it stands today, Dr Fayemi is a wanted man in Nigeria , he has also been declared as a law breaker by the EKHA, by disobeying the constitution of the land and Fine of a sum of 1M Naira as allowed by the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Therefore the APC led FG must reverse these rapes of Democratic values that's fast becoming a past time of their tenure in office.
We wish to reiterate our commitment to democratic tenets and the rule of law and we will do everything possible to ensure accountability in Ekiti State
Thank you.
Hon. Dr Samuel Omotoso
Chair, House Committee on Information.

A newly appointed high school head in Kansas has resigned after the student newspaper cast doubt on her qualifications.
The investigation by the Pittsburg High School publication, the Booster Redux, started as an introductory profile of the new head.
But after three weeks they found that a college attended by Amy Robertson lacked accreditation.
The six-student news team has drawn praise from journalists around the US.
Ms Roberston was hired by the Pittsburg Board of Education on 6 March.
The school district met on Tuesday night to accept her resignation from the $93,000-a-year (£74,500) post.
In a statement, the board said that "in light of the issues that arose, Dr Robertson felt it was in the best interest of the district to resign her position".
Trina Paul, editor of the Booster Redux, said: "She was going to be the head of our school and we wanted be assured that she was qualified and had the proper credentials.
"We stumbled on some things that most might not consider legitimate credentials."
During a conference call with the students, Ms Robertson "presented incomplete answers, conflicting dates and inconsistencies in her responses", the student newspaper reported.
"That raised a red flag," 17-year-old student reporter Maddie Baden told the Kansas City Star .
"If students could uncover all of this, I want to know why the adults couldn't find this."
The students discovered that a private for-profit school in Dubai where Ms Roberston served as principal had its licence suspended in 2013 by the United Arab Emirates government, following years of "unsatisfactory" ratings.
The Booster Redux also found that a Corllins University, where Ms Robertson received her master's and doctorate degrees, was not accredited by the US Department of Education.
The college - which does not appear to have a physical address - has been accused of being a diploma mill, where people can buy degrees.
