That's not true,south Africa is a good place to live.i was there for 3 months plus and I shuttle Pretoria and Johannesburg .I even left my wife there for six months she wants to go back there now.
We were going about our activities daily no attack.They are friendly and homely.
Just don't be dubious and be upright in your dealings.
