My concern was how he eagerly brought in IS into the talk just to validate an unfounded claim. You too can be a freelancer and write about a trade or business related subject on HBR. It wouldn't mean that the university endorses whatever you write about. It is all about spreading knowledge. |

GetSenseNow: Out of 10 boys apprentices, only 1 might not turn out fine. The good thing about the system is at the end they'll be very grounded in the business, they'll get customers, on some occasions their oga will even open a shop for them. Which other form of education equips the students more than this?
You guys will judge with just a few cases. 2 if my cousins who were apprentices are now big men. 1 of them even bought an entire plaza in port harcourt last year where he now sells phones It is a good system if practised properly. The first known business people who practised this system and still practising it are the Igbomina(Yorubas)from Kwara. When Igbos arrived in Lagos, after a while, they were known to practise this system too.It is a good system if done honestly. |

Now, let's assume safely that even for the slightest minute it was adopted by the HBS, how does that translate that US wants to adopt it. lol Even a SE professor, one Prof Ike something mouthed this Harvard studying the Igbo apprenticeship system on Arise and I was laughing at his grave ignorance. He should have made a research before saying what he always hears in their family meetings. Shameful indeed. It was not adopted. It was just a review written by an Igbo man,Mr Ekekwe, in their blog.

Pentagon007: The Originator of this post is talking nonsense. The apprenticeship system is still working very fine and raising tons of Igbo billionaires.
This is just a hatchet job by the Usual Of..manu people to discredit anything that favours Ndigbo. Seeing how lazy and unsuccessful the average Yoruba youth has become. I have encouraged upto 5 youths to embark on apprenticeship and so far, they are doing wonderfully well with their various masters in their various trade. You are a local gala hawker and this is the reason why you don't know that those Yoruba youths are way ahead of Igbo youths in business. Not only in Nigeria but also abroad. Yorubas(Igbomina) have been practicing this apprenticeship system before Igbos know anything about business. They still do till date. They dominate the building materials market in Nigeria. Igbos are babies to Yorubas in business. Verifiable examples abound all over. Know this and know peace. |

lol Sometime I just don't understand these hues and cries because out of more than 1000 slots,he just placed Yorubas in less than 60 and in critical positions that can help in his government being a success. Through history and till date,Yorubas have proven to be the best administrators. I can cite verifiable now and then examples. Should he go and bring people from outside when he has good hands around him? As we speak, the highest number of people still holding govt positions are the Hausa/Fulani people even in a Yoruba man govt. It was not like that when Buhari was there. Are people saying that he should not put Yorubas in those positions just because he is a Yoruba man? |

Nigeria’s President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commissioned a state-of-the art Data complex, to enhance National Security and efficiency of the country’s Migration/Border Management processes. The Data Complex comprises the Command and Control Centre (regular migration), NIS Data Centre, ECOWAS Biometric Card Production Centre, Interior Data Centre and a 0.5KW Solar Power Plant.
In her opening address, Nandap, said the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Technology Innovation Complex will ascertain the risk level of persons entering the country, detect irregular migration patterns and monitor unmanned borders in hard-to-reach areas nationwide.
She said the facilities are “Setting the benchmark to use technology to secure our borders and ensure the security of the nation.” Present are the President’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Management, Festus Keyamo, heads of agencies, among others.
[b]First of its kind in Africa. BATTIC Data Centre. The Data Complex, which is the first of its kind in Africa, marks a significant step forward in the Nigeria’s digital transformation journey. Additionally, the centre is designed to serve as a central repository for the NIS’s digital infrastructure to enhance the efficiency and security of the country’s Migration/Border Management processes as well as National Security. Every Nigerian MUST take time and read this short article: Possible Strategies Tinubu Is Using To Pocket Nigeria As He Did Lagos or we'll soon have ourselves to blame.
Almost everything in that article is happening one after the other - like the MC Oluomo NURTW saga, this attempt to install his family and friends in key positions and more. If we fail to listen now, we'll surely regret it later on. Nigerians need to get up instead of complaining lazily everyday. Don't you want Nigeria to be rich and be financially independent like Lagos?

If you have other data why are you not bringing it out? but you think you can use CIA ? why is CIA not releasing all the Data they have on Donald Trump to the public if it is that easy ? or why is Kamala Haris and Biden not using the CIA to get data to convict Trump with afterall Trump is already running for a public office and the people deserve to know all info about him according to you.
