2. Get Web Address Setting Right People get to your website using either www or non-www version of your website. If you set a redirect in place, typing any of the above will lead to the same website. WordPress makes it easy to make domain settings by giving option whether to use or not to use www version of your website. If you are just getting started (from scratch) with your blog, it is advised that you use the www version of your blog and include HTTPS. It would like this https://www.blogname.com. The non-www version will look like this https://blogname.com. Any link you build should follow the same format. Google and most search engines assigns authority based on link format. If then you have a mixed of www and non-www, it would not be as effective as if they were of the same format. In case you have been running your blog for sometimes and it has been indexed, see what domain variation has the most pages indexed. The higher the pages, the higher the domain authority. Readjust your domain or web address settings as appropriate. 3. Enable SEO friendly permalink Google algorithm is advance. Its bot crawls many different parts of a webpage to determine what the content is about; what search terms (keywords) and phrases should trigger it, and in what position should it be displayed for those keywords and searches? One of the important components of a webpage is the URL of the page. URL means Uniform Resource Locator. It deals the exact web address of the post. Meanwhile, WordPress automatically generates address for posts using date and page title at the end. Here is an example of URL for a post published on March 15, 2022: https://www.blogname.com/2022/03/15 While there is technically nothing wrong with this – as it will render the content just fine – you aren’t helping Google understand what the page is about. Set up your permalinks to inherit the “Post Name” setting. If they are not indexed, a directive to check index settings would be issued.

After the Second World War, the United States (US) and the Soviet Union - USSR (now Russia) competed to see who had the best technology in space. For this and subsequent missions, NASA Space Center was established around 1961. During one of his visits there, JFK saw a janitor (doorman) holding a broom. So curious JFK, walked to the man and asked, “Sir, what are you doing with broom? ” The Janitor answered, “Mr. President, I am trying to put a man on the moon.” No doubt the janitor has realized that he is needed by his country. He has discovered a sense of purpose in the work he does. I am pretty sure the janitor would be proud of himself and country after the[b] first American landed on the moon in July 21, 1969[/b] . We have a debt to pay to those who came before us and had diligently served our fatherland and to those currently serving in the various places we came from and contributing greatly to those regions. And also to those ones coming behind us and looking to us as guiding light, we should not let down. Actually, we have done the hard parts by leaving behind businesses, opportunities to travel abroad, love life at its incubation stage or investment opportunities. A few of us have lost loved ones - we could not even travel to pay our last respects. Now we are at our PPA hoping the service year will end quickly. Truly, the service year will end but our service to our nation should never end. While you are there at your station, try to make the moment count. NYSC have platforms through which its set objectives would be achieved. A notable one is CDS (Community Development Service). CDS group meetings give opportunity to rub minds and share ideas. We need to start working on community targeted projects that can help raised the standard of our host communities. No matter how small our projects or activities may seems, it would still contribute to national growth. Let us be like that janitor doing everything to make our country win. As a freelancer, you need to position yourself as the leading expert in your field. Social media provides you with a platform to reach millions of individuals in all corners of the world. Create posts regularly on what you do, engage with the global online market, guest post on blogs and industry publications and participate in question and answer on others post on Twitter or related channels. 3.
