Imagine trying to get on the property ladder again after moving to Canada. Building another credit history and doing all the work to get settled again. It is not that many Nigerians in the UK won't qualify for Canada PR, It just bloody takes so much time that your personal circumstance may have changed by the time it works out. Heck, even the political landscape of your country may have changed. My wife and I were set for Canada PR and were working towards it before we got pregnant, we didn't want to raise our child in Nigeria, so we had to do the UK instead and in months we had transition here. It is not a clear-cut case for everyone but if Canada becomes more appealing to Nigerians, They would definitely switch to Canada in record numbers.

For some, they are better off while for some they are not. You have to assess your situation.

I personally decided not to move after getting
Canada PR after punching the calculator. It was easy for me to get the facts and figures to compare as I have my siblings and loads of family in Canada.

You can contact British Gas on 0800 294 8604 or 0330 100 0056.

Akhat:
.

British gas supplies only electricity to the apartment. I contacted Octopus, they told me to first contact British gas who are the current electric supplier, before they can take over from them. Or should I try other good electricity provider and see if they can help me notify British gas of my intention to switch?

As it has been said, If you are making 1600 after tax, then that is decent pay. What you have now it time. Time to Learn before you Earn.
Get licensed too. It may be hard but it is doable.
