Politics › Re: Osun 2026: Accord Party Is Like Keke Napep Facing Trailer -APC National Chairman by Ogabode: 3:10pm On Jul 29
Prof. Nentawe, with all due respect, politics is not by trailer vs keke napep grammar

Osun people don’t vote based on how many governors and NASS members you bring from Abuja. They vote based on performance, and Gov. Ademola Adeleke has delivered.

From payment of arrears, to infrastructure, to workers’ welfare, Adeleke has connected with the people. That’s why Adeleke will win August 15, 2026 no matter the number of big names you deploy

And let’s talk truth: the fact that Adeleke refused to publicly declare for Accord’s presidential candidate is already a body language. It shows that even at the center, Tinubu do not want to infect Osun with the kind of rubbish some APC states are doing.

Osun is different. We rejected imposition in 2022, and we will reject it again in 2026.
It’s not trailer vs keke. It’s people vs propaganda. And the people are with Adeleke
Politics › Re: Osun Election: Uzodimma Chairs APC’s 276-Member Campaign Council by Ogabode: 11:00am On Jul 27
The people of Osun have already made up their minds, no amount of Abuja big names can buy the will of Osun people.

Governor Ademola Adeleke has delivered: workers' welfare, infrastructure, healthcare, and good governance. That’s why we are solidly behind Imole for a second term.

Come 15 August 2026, Osun will vote continuity, vote performance, vote Adeleke

Politics › Re: Tinubu Funded Buhari’s 2015 Campaign With Billions Of Naira, Says Babachir Lawal by Ogabode: 9:51am On Jul 27
Baba Lawal can say all he wants about Tinubu funding the campaign. That’s fine

APC won because PDP committed suicide in 2014/2015 after the convention, The 5 PDP Governors- Amaechi, Kwankwaso, Wamakko, Nyako, and Murtala Nyako group. they walked out with their structures and votes. You can’t win an election when 5 sitting governors abandon you and also President Jonathan with due respect, the man is too weak and too complacent, he allowed impunity in PDP. he allowed the party to be hijacked and couldn’t even reconcile with his own people.

Saraki and Dino Melaye - These two were busy destabilizing PDP from inside. Saraki especially was already working against the party. The internal sabotage was massive, the only person then was wike and a few PDP states stood firm- If not for people like wike in Rivers and a few others, PDP would have lost by even bigger margin.

So please, spare us the Tinubu financed it story. Money helps, but votes win elections. And in 2015, Jonathan and the PDP governors handed those votes to APC on a platter.

PDP lost that election to itself
Politics › Re: Oseni Rufai Breaks Down, Weeps Over Nigeria’s Economy by Ogabode: 7:26pm On Jul 17
Kemetian:
RUFAI YOU ARE AN ILLITERATE.

GO AND EDUCATE YOURSELF.

NIGERIA'S ANNUAL BUDGET IS $40 BILLION FOR ITS 250 MILLION PEOPLE.

SOUTH AFRICA'S ANNUAL BUDGET IS $130 BILLION FOR ITS 60 MILLION PEOPLE.

NIGERIA IS NOT A RICH COUNTRY.

IT NEEDS TO BORROW.

AMERICA'S BUDGET IS $8 TRILLION FOR ITS 320 MILLION PEOPLE.

DESPITE THIS, AMERICA IS STILL THE HIGHEST DEBTOR NATION ON EARTH, OWING OVER $23 TRILLION.

NIGERIA'S DEBT TO GDP RATIO IS VERY MODERATE COMPARED TO OTHER COUNTRIES IN AFRICA AND BEYOND.

IF RUFAI THINKS WE CAN DEVELOP NIGERIA ON A $40 BILLION ANNUAL BUDGET WITHOUT BORROWING, HE JUST CONFIRMS HE IS AN ILLITERATE.

RUFAI, WHATEVER YOU SAW IN 1974 IS FOR YOU TO EXPLAIN.

GOWON WAS A DUMBASS MILITARY DICTATOR OF 35 YRS OLD IN 1974.

HE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH THE OIL BOOM MONEY AND SAID SO HIMSELF.

"NIGERIA'S PROBLEM IS NOT MONEY BUT HOW TO SPEND THE MONEY".

PUTTING ON A PEDESTAL HIS CONFUSED, JUVENILE GOVT'S ACTIONS OF SUPPOSEDLY LENDING THE WORLD BANK MONEY "TO HELP OTHER COUNTRIES" WHEN HIS OWN COUNTRY WAS STILL AN UNDERDEVELOPED BACKWATER WITH NEAR ZERO INFRASTRUCTURE, IS FURTHER PROOF THAT YOU LACK BASIC COMMON SENSE.

RABBLE ROUSER.
Rufai is not wrong to ask “what happened?”
1974: Oil boom, we lent $360M to World Bank/IMF.
2026: 250M people, $40B budget, and we borrow to fund basic things.
US borrows $34Trilion but builds. Our debt-to-revenue is the problem, not debt-to-GDP, call it emotion if you want. but a country that had surplus 50 years ago and still can not fund education/health without loans deserves loud questions

GOFRONT:
How dare the HOR members try to summon Tinubu??

Infact, For thinking about summon Tinubu, DSS pls go all out and fetch those HOR members

That is another coup plot in disguise......

What Nonsense
Section 88 and 89 of the 1999 Constitution gives the National Assembly the power to summon anyone, including the President, to explain issues about budget implementation and constituency projects.

That’s checks and balances, not treason. DSS has no business arresting lawmakers for doing their job
Health › Re: 300-Bed Enugu International Hospital Now 99% Complete (Video, Pictures) by Ogabode: 7:55am On Jul 08
The much-hyped 300-bed Enugu International Hospital is 99% ready, just like every other FG project that’s been 99% ready since 2015.
Same story: Big billboards, press releases, ribbon-cutting photos.
Zero doctors, zero equipment, zero patients😡🙄

Mbah is copying Tinubu’s playbook — announce, commission, abandon.
Enugu people deserve hospitals that work, not hospitals that trend on social media platforms.

Until that 300-bed hospital actually treats 1 patient, it’s just another abandoned "legacy project

Politics › Re: Peter Obi Never Condemns Biafra Or IPOB - Ali Modu Sheriff by Ogabode: 9:13am On Jul 07
Oga, Nigerians are tired of this playbook.
You left PDP and helped stabilize APC, now you are here throwing labels around. If you are genuinely worried about Nigeria’s unity, start by condemning all forms of violence and hate speech from every region — North, South, East, West.
Peter Obi has repeatedly called for a united, productive Nigeria. If you disagree with him politically, debate policies. Don’t reduce it to “Biafra” insinuations. That’s the same politics of division that has kept us backward.

AndroBlaze:
Oga stop making noise, the guy has been a fraudster fom day one....their are articles all over about him doing fraud during his student days.

If we have been arresting/punishing parents for the rubbish the children they train do (like the Bible and African cultures did in the past), we would not have the preponderance of problems we have like terrorism, kidnappers, useless politicians , yahoo, hookup girls and so on.....we support/defend rubbish to much in this country for the sake of money and fleeting fame.

https://www.nairaland.com/3589695/meet-adeniyi-adeyemi-new-president-general
Oga, calm down

Two wrongs don’t make a right. Our law presumes everyone innocent until proven guilty, and it doesn’t punish parents for the actions of adult children.
If Adeniyi has a case to answer, let the probe do its job. But dragging his father into it is illegal and barbaric. We can’t fight crime by breaking the law ourselves
Politics › Re: 2027: Why Elections May Not Hold – ADC Spokesman, Abdullahi by Ogabode: 3:02pm On Jul 05
While concerns about the 2027 general elections are valid given Nigeria’s political climate, INEC has shown commitment by extending the voter’s card registration deadline. The extension is meant to increase participation and strengthen the electoral process. All stakeholders, including Mr Bolaji ADC, should work with INEC and security agencies to ensure the elections hold and are credible

Politics › Re: Makinde Caused Oyo Schoolchildren, Teachers Abduction – Fayose by Ogabode: 9:01am On Jun 29
Blaming Governor Makinde alone for the Oyo school abductions won’t solve it. Insecurity is a national challenge that cuts across states and administrations.

Mr Fayose, as a former governor, I would advise choosing words carefully, leaders should unite people and push for solutions, not trade blame.

Ekiti also faced kidnapping, political tensions, and security constraints during your tenure from 2014–2018. We all know state governments work within limits set by federal policing and national crime trend, thank God for the passing of police bill just waiting for 24 states to approve constitutional amendments

Nigerians need collaboration on school safety, not finger-pointing

Politics › Re: Joe Igbokwe Claims School Kidnappings Won’t Stop Tinubu’s Presidential Victory by Ogabode: 10:13am On May 31
Mr. Joe Igbokwe, framing the kidnapping of school children and teachers as a ‘strategy’ is not politics — it’s cruelty. No election, no party, no ambition is worth the blood of innocent kids and their teachers. If this is how low the conversation has sunk in 2027, then the failure isn’t the strategy. The failure is leadership that has to even address such barbarism as if it’s debatable. Nigerians deserve leaders who protect children, not politicians trading soundbites while schools become war zones. Shame on anyone who treats their pain like campaign math

Gov Makinde, thanks you for focusing on the issues that matter. It's time to move beyond petty gossip and superficial discussions. For going ahead with the convention and now prioritizing nation's future, not personal interests, I give it to you mr Governor.

At the end of the performance, Banky W proudly held both artists and remarked, 'These guys are my retirement benefit.' Today, Wizkid has become one of Nigeria's most successful artists, surpassing many others in the industry.
