Politics › Re: Court Nullifies Pantami’s Ticket, Orders PDP To Conduct Fresh Gov’ship Primary by Ogabode: 1:02am On Sep 25
One of the rainbow coalition candidate is about to lose out, but I trust Pantami to fight back and reclaim the governorship ticket
Politics › Re: Atiku Names Akobundu PCC DG, Nasir El-rufai, Dele Momodu Makes List by Ogabode: 12:36am On Sep 25
grin
toffyz:
In all honesty, it's a great list. Some of the names I'm seeing there aren't featherweight politicians, they're household names in Nigeria politics.

I'm an open PBAT supporter, I believe he is not doing bad currently and he will have my vote come 2027 insha Allah.

Now back to the ADC list, can the NDC make up something similar, the honest answer is capital NO. But their delusional supporters will insist all these doesn't mean anything.
ADC is the only real opposition right now. They are organized and serious, the other party cannot assemble even half of this list, their supporters may argue otherwise, but the facts are clear.
Politics › Re: Atiku Names Akobundu PCC DG, Nasir El-rufai, Dele Momodu Makes List by Ogabode: 12:23am On Sep 25
TheStoriesOfMan:
Peter Obi no try at all. The person who asked him to quit ADC didn't advice him well.

The combo should be enough to rattle the incumbent at the polls.
The people who chased peter obi out of the ADC are nafiu bala gombe, dumebi kachikwu, kingsley temitope, timi odejimi etc grin
Politics › Re: Atiku Names Akobundu PCC DG, Nasir El-rufai, Dele Momodu Makes List by Ogabode: 8:16pm On Sep 24
Senator augustine akobundu as DG is very strategic, a retired colonel, former minister of defence, sitting senator and former National Organizing Secretary, he has the military discipline, administrative experience and political structure to coordinate nationwide. grin

Look at the team: kashim Ibrahim-Imam as chairman, el-rufai as deputy chairman, dele momodu for media, dino melaye for mobilization, hayatu-deen and kingsley moghalu for policy, John oyegun leading Advisory Council. This is not a joke team, this is a presidential team. grin

This shows adc is serious, organized and ready to take over in 2027, and where is Aregbesola a.k.a Baba Hafsa a.k.a baba Half Salary grin?
Crime › Re: NDLEA Dismantles Nigerian-Mexican Meth Syndicate In Enugu by Ogabode: 5:08pm On Sep 24
And if you see them at any events, you would say it's not the same nigeria where business people operate, they will be throwing bundles of cash around.
Politics › Re: Activities Of The OK Movement Nonsensical - Seriake Dickson by Ogabode: 7:41pm On Sep 23
Rebelutionary:
You are telling your landlord to leave HIS PROPERTY for you and go and rest in Bayelsa right? grin grin

Have you asked yourself why you had to run out of ADC? Now the same thing is happening in NDC because the OK movement can "overdo"!

Before you argue, which support group puts out a Presidential Campaign Council list BEFORE the party does? Which support group acts and drags their own party like the OK does?

The hubris from the OK movement will be Obi's greatest undoing!
Leave that worry for obidient, Hubris is not when volunteers work. Hubris is when one man thinks a movement of millions is too big for him to manage, so he wants to cage it.

For your information, I am not supporting any politician, I am just contributing to the topic.
Politics › Re: Analysis: Atiku Does The Maths Nobody Wanted Done - SBM Intelligence by Ogabode: 12:58pm On Sep 23
Atiku said the truth that this government doesn't want to hear, more money, less value. Nigerians can see it in the market, not in press releases.
Politics › Re: 2027: I’ll Transmit Power To VP Whenever I’m On Vacation — Makinde by Ogabode: 10:33am On Sep 23
If you say you will transmit power to your Vice President when elected President, we believe you 100%
Politics › Re: Activities Of The OK Movement Nonsensical - Seriake Dickson by Ogabode: 10:25am On Sep 23
He only had time to plan for elections when he was under the PDP. Since he formed this community association called NDC, does he know anything about politics?

Even the almighty APC has more than 50 support groups that are campaigning and preaching the APC message in markets, motor parks, churches, and mosques - in places where you wouldn't normally discuss politics, that is how you win an election, through grassroots mobilization, not through grammar at a press conference.

This Dickson is too inexperienced for this position he is occupying, NDC is already too big for him to manage. Instead of coordinating thousands of willing volunteers, he is threatening them, saying don't compete with the party, who is competing with you? People want to help you win, and you are pushing them away with rules.

Go and check under apc and see the thousands of support groups working for the re-election of bola tinubu, even dem say rainbow coalition na support group for tinubu.

Oga Dickson, If you cannot manage support groups, you should go back to Bayelsa and rest.
Politics › Re: Tinubu, Shettima’s Absence: I’m Not Acting President, Says Akpabio by Ogabode: 9:58am On Sep 23
The Constitution says 21 days, 21 days don pass, instead of you to invoke Section 145(2) and do your job, you dey talk about no vacancy and working leave, constitution no get anything like working leave.

I really missed that guy from kwara, Saraki would have protected the Constitution, akpabio is protecting tinubu
Politics › Re: My Plan For "Kids On The Streets" In Lagos - Hamzat by Ogabode: 9:50pm On Sep 22
Sheuns:
Lagos APC is shameless.

After 27 uninterrupted years in power both at the executive and legislative arms of government in Lagos state they clearly have not solved one social issue. Tueh.

The one who posted this is the media aide to the current governor and the one speaking is the current deputy governor.

He’s openly admitting that they have failed.
The Deputy Governor is not admitting FAILURE, he is showing the difference between a government that warehouses people and a government that wants to SOLVE the problem.

A man with vision says let's create a dedicated, independent Child Welfare Agency with a clear mandate. That is reform, not failure.
Politics › Re: Deploy The Force Used Against Oil Bunkery On Illegal Miners - Oshiomole To FG by Ogabode: 11:50am On Sep 17
Oshiomhole has spoken the truth for once, we use fighter jets to protect oil in the South but use handshake to protect gold in the North. Same crime, different treatment, If illegal mining is stopped with same force as bunkering, Nigeria will have enough money to forget borrowing.
Politics › Re: Aisha Buhari Visits Atiku Abubakar (Photos) by Ogabode: 11:43am On Sep 17
Let them release El-Rufai and allow him campaign freely for Atiku/ADC, make we test something, tinubu clearly understands the political game, and there is no doubt that massive machinery has already been put in place ahead of 2027. But the reality is, some APC governors cannot even deliver their own states for Tinubu, at the same time, ADC is not helping themselves either. No clear structure, no unity, and too much internal fighting. If they really want to challenge APC, they need to get their house in order.

Politics › Re: NDC Kano Senatorial Candidate, Gawuna Set To Join APC by Ogabode: 2:35pm On Sep 02
IF Gawuna defects, it is not a big loss. Kwankwaso already has a replacement in mind for that NDC senatorial seat.
Hope NDC can still substitute candidates under the Electoral Act, as long as INEC’s deadline has not passed.
Politics › Re: EFCC Summons Ex-gov Timipre Sylva Over Alleged $14.86m Fraud by Ogabode: 9:53am On Sep 01
This is how institutions are being used to intimidate and silence people the moment they step out of line or leave the ruling party.

$14.86m fraud suddenly remembered now? Where was this case for all the years, why is it coming up now, 48 hours after he resigned?

If EFCC is truly independent, they would have invited him years ago. But no. They waited until he left APC to dust off files. That’s not justice, that’s vendetta.

Politics › Re: 2027: Wike, Fubara, Chinda Meet In Rivers by Ogabode: 2:58pm On Aug 31
DoTheNeedful:
Wike is not a strategic politician. If BAT didn't step into the Rivers imbroglio, Wike would have lost Rivers for good.

Nothing shows Wike's non-strategic thinking more than his support for Chinda. Chinda is a hardcore politician with many decades in politics. Strategic godfathers don't support people like that. Rather, Wike should have supported a career-minded person or a technocrat with little political acumen.

Mark this: Chinda will put an end to Wike's hold on Rivers if he wins the 2027 election.

Wike's gragra no dey allow him to see front sometimes.
Exactly, he just want Fubara out of the way, he does not realize he is creating more problems for himself in the future

I understand the fear, we have seen my darling diamond Bank and Skye Bank situations before. but this Opay notice is confirmed FAKE by Opay and CBN has said nothing.

grin grin grin Also there is no smoke without fire, after diamond Bank(Acquired by Access Bank in 2019, Customers money was not lost, accounts were only migrated), Skye Bank (license revoked by CBN in 2018, became Polaris Bank, then something happen again, deposits were protected), Fortis Microfinance Bank, Peak Microfinance Bank (Had licenses revoked by CBN), Savannah Bank, Societe Generale Bank (early 2000s bank failures/liquidations) Nigerians are right to be careful with their money grin

Politics › Re: Fake Agency Scandal: ICPC Recommends Disciplinary Action Against 13 Officials (F by Ogabode: 11:44pm On Aug 28
Most of the 13 officials recommended for action are directors, deputy directors, assistant directors, and civil servants who processed PFIPC’s requests.

The civil servants processed paperwork. But office allocation, self-accounting status, and CBN accounts cannot be approved without memos passing through Permanent Secretaries, DGs, and Ministers.

If ICPC only sanctions civil servants and jails Mr. Adeyemi, the system that let PFIPC through will remain.

According to the committee, the aspirants failed to provide evidence of sponsorship from at least five fully registered and financially up-to-date party members in each Local Government Area of the state, as required by Articles 9.3(i) and 31.2(ii) of the APC Constitution and Paragraph 6(c) of party guidelines.

Only Mulikat Abiola Jimoh and Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji were cleared to contest the primary, and they want to win grin grin

Chief Adeyemi-Doro, with respect, this alignment looks more like surrender than strategy, because APGA members across Osun are asking: was this decision truly voluntary, or were you left with no choice after consultations angry

Politics › Re: APM Defends Cardinal Onaiyekan, Accuses Presidency Of Intolerance To Criticism by Ogabode: 10:03am On Aug 03
The Lagos State chapter of the Allied People’s Movement has once again shown why it has zero relevance in Lagos politics. Instead of putting their own house in order, APM Lagos has become the microphone for PDP narratives, from Assembly to Presidential candidates, ask any APM member in Lagos Which party are you? and the answer is always PDP-APM, That is not opposition. That is confusion.
Real opposition builds structures, fields credible candidates, and offers alternatives. What APM Lagos is doing is piggybacking on PDP talking points just to stay in the news. Criticizing the Presidency over the Catholic Bishops meeting will not give APM a single seat in Lagos.
Nigerians are tired of political tourists. If APM wants to be taken seriously, let them first resolve their identity crisis. Are you APM or PDP? You cannot be both.
Politics › Re: APC Members In Oyo South Share Two Packs Of Noodles To Constituents (Video) by Ogabode: 9:50am On Aug 03
