tutudesz: The families must be informed 1st and the bodies recovered/ transported. That is still not a cogent excuse. Even at that, some soldier's are still missing. They still must explain to NIGERIANS why will such attack last for hours and there was no air backup to support our troops. One helicopter gunship would have stopped all these death. |

His parents once hustle the streets of America as immigrants. I pity his downfall and disgrace. Immigrants are not the real problem of America. |

Face your region.
Ambode is not a push over. The GAC asked him to step aside You asked if I am a Lagosian, You were not patience enough to allow me to answer your question. I lived in Lagos precisely Adegbipe, Ketu Mile 12 before traveled out. It was in our Junction near the UBA bank that Engr. Fusho Williams had his last campaign before he was killed. So your answer is wrong. Happy Sunday |
Politics › Photo Of Lt. Col. T.E. Alari, Commanding Officer Killed By Boko Haram In Borno by ogaemma(op): 4:21pm On Jan 26, 2025 |
Lt. Col. T.E. Alari, a Fearless Leader and Defender of the Nation
In the face of unparalleled danger, there are individuals who embody the true essence of courage, leadership, and sacrifice. Lt. Col. T.E. Alari was one such man a gallant officer who stood as a bulwark against terror, giving his life so others might live in peace.
The Commanding Officer of the 149 Battalion, Lt. Col. Alari, was a nightmare to insurgents. His resolute determination and strategic brilliance in combat had dealt devastating blows to the ranks of ISWAP, earning him a reputation as a fearless leader who did not shy away from leading from the front. His name struck fear into the hearts of terrorists, and his presence on the battlefield inspired confidence among his troops.
On Jan. 24, 2025, while leading an operation in the Timbuktu Triangle, a bastion of terrorist activity in Damboa, Lt. Col. Alari once again demonstrated the true essence of leadership. Under his command, the 149 Battalion had successfully disrupted insurgent strongholds, neutralizing scores of terrorists and forcing them into retreat. But in a desperate last ditch effort, ISWAP insurgents deployed a Vehicle-Borne Improvised Explosive Device (VBIED) against his troops.
The VBIED was intercepted and destroyed by the troops, but the shrapnel from the explosion tragically took the lives of those closest to the blast, including Lt. Col. Alari, who, as always, was at the front, leading his men. Even in the face of certain death, his bravery remained unwavering a true testament to his character.
Lt. Col. Alari was not just a soldier; he was a protector, a mentor, and a patriot. His relentless pursuit of justice and his commitment to the safety of his country will forever be remembered. He epitomized the qualities of a selfless leader always prioritizing the wellbeing of his troops and the mission above his own safety.
Beyond the battlefield, Lt. Col. Alari was a devoted son, husband, and father. His family, though bereaved, can take solace in the legacy he leaves behind a legacy of valor, service, and love for his nation.
As Nigeria mourns the loss of one of its finest, we must honor his memory by continuing the fight he so bravely led. Lt. Col. T.E. Alari’s sacrifice will not be in vain. His name will forever be etched in the annals of history as a hero who stood against terror and gave his all for his country.
Rest in peace, gallant soldier. Nigeria owes you a debt of gratitude that can never be repaid. https://x.com/ZagazOlaMakama/status/1883620561160741230?s=19

He is still very much influencial in Agege. Remember he did not campaign so much to win his reelection into the house of assembly. He has the Agege constituency under his control. The situation should be well managed. |

He is Number 1 in Agege. Should we conclude on the case because of 🍞 BREAD? I will advise the Party Leaders to manage the situation well. Obasa is not a push over, he is not like Ambode. He is a political heavy weight in Lagos. A seasoned grassroot politician who rose from the ranks as low as a ward councilor. If he is not well manage, if he decamps from the party, it will be a huge threat to the 2027 election for the party. |

owobokiri: You know the situation very well, especially with the Asians. What most Nigerians don't know is that most of these Asians that are involved in all sorts of illegalities in Africa/Nigeria, are members of some sophisticated syndicates. And that some of those syndicates are tied to their home governments. You have to ask yourself; who gave them the sophisticated coordinates to locate these minerals in the heart of conflict areas like Bornu and Zamfara? And how did they manage to get to those hostile interior areas safely, without being waylaid by armed groups? You are very much on point. Why will Nigerians in places like Zamfara State and Sokoto state are at risk to bandit's, but the Chinese in those areas are untouched. |
Politics › Re: Retired Generals Behind Illegal Mining, Says Oshiomhole by ogaemma: 5:01am On Jan 25, 2025 |
Some serving Governor's and ex governor's Including high politicians are also involve in the illegal mining. All Chinese Company's and Chinese immigrants in Nigeria must be checked mate. Chinese are also heavily involved in illegal mining across the country. They also buy huge quantity of solid minerals in the black market from illegal miner's. How they manage to smuggle this huge quantity of illegal solid minerals out of Nigeria is what I can't figure out. Our Airports, Seaports and boarder's are just too porous. |
