agadez007:Don't mind them my Brother. That is their own political sentiment. If Ogoni state is to be created today, both Eleme and Onne will be part of Ogoni state |
agadez007:Eleme is an Ogoni land. Both in Eleme and Onne, the most widely spoken language is Igbo language. I work at Onne, I was at Hobson Gas at the oil free zone. Yes, of course they must have learned Igbo language. But what I am saying is that the Igbo language is widely spoken than their own native tongue or mother tongue. My Ogoni colleague speaks Igbo language very well. So the Igbo language is widely spoken in all those environment than their own native language. |
richmond500:Oga Port Harcourt may be the native lands of the Kalabaris, with Ogoni and so forth. The widely spoken language in Port Harcourt City is Igbo language. Even in Eleme, the widely spoken language in Eleme is still Igbo language. Go to Mile 3, Igbo language is spoken left and right. Even oil mill, Igbo language is widely spoken in every corner. Many Kalabri people of the last generation, most of them can speak Igbo language very well. Igbo as a spoken language dominated both Port Harcourt City and Obio Akpor long before the Independence. |
NIGERIA is a land of oppression. People are too wicked and end up throwing the blame on government. If not for wickedness, why will locally produced rice sell for 100,000 naira and above. Most NIGERIANS are worst than the politicians. Keep taking advantage of the system to oppress yourselves. |
richmond500:You still do not understand me. I lived in Port Harcourt for 4 year's. Yes Port Harcourt is Ijaw. But till date go to Mile 3 or Diobu, Olu Obasanjo etc. Which language is widely spoken in the Port Harcourt City? The widely spoken language in Port Harcourt City is Igbo language, even though is an Ijaw land. So the Igbo language has been widely spoken than any other languages in both Obio Akpor and Port Harcourt City from the Old Eastern Region era. |
This is the kind of News I like to see in nairaland this year. Not bandit's killing people, accident and ritualistic killings up and down. Congratulations to you both. Enjoy your marriage. |
richmond500:Can you please read my comments again and again and understand. Both Obio Akpor and Port Harcourt LGA, the most commonly spoken language during the old Eastern Region was the Igbo language. So those people who lived in the old Eastern Region many of them can speak Igbo language very well. Even till date in Obio Akpor, the Igbo language is widely spoken in the open market than the Ikwerre language. The likes of Austin Okpara, Sargent Awuse, Peter Odili, Ada George, Woli, Rotimi Ameachi can speak Igbo language fluently. Do your fact check. |
Rivers State is part of the old Eastern Region. Port Harcourt city was like the Lagos of the Old Eastern Region. All my Auntie's and Uncle's that lived in Port Harcourt during the old Eastern Region can speak Igbo very well including their children and grand children. |
Why are so many people shocked. Most of the news they have told NIGERIANS about their win and victory over the bandit's and terrorist were bunch of lies and propaganda. Check out the recent attack on the military FOB base in Borno were many soldiers were killed, they did everything possible to hide the incident but they failed. Now the truth is facing directly face to face. Insecurity is far from over. |
This is good news. So private homes and individuals will join them. People pay for light they do not see. Let the DISCO's keep dancing DISCO DANCE. |
Money 🤑 is good. Make sure you make money 💰 in this life. Young Ladies do not hate older men. Young Ladies only hate poverty. |
Both of them are brother's. Who did they help? NIGERIA have more challenges right now than whatever is happening in the Emir palace in Kano. If Brothers cannot settle themselves then is up to them.
|
Who are the Angry Northerners? Their Emir's are bunch of house boy's and shoe shiner's to Tinubu. Let any Emir in the North that did not collect money from Tinubu to come out. Is a done deal. A region with the highest numbers of street beggar's and out of school Children, yet they have produced the highest numbers of president in this country. They don't even know what is their problem. For their information, the NDA is next online. NIGERIA is to big to have only one NDA campus in Kaduna. May God punish the 1914 Amalgamation. |
What must have caused this 🔥🥵 attack? Why is the 🔥 fire going out of control? Could this be KARMA? |
The god's are tired of local currency. Your naira does not have value again. The god's have upgraded to hard currency. Wake up. No be only you sabi spend dollar. The god's too can spend dollars 😂 |
This is an ugly news. I thought the herdsmen have been driven away from the East, where are these ones coming from again. This insecurity is a major problem we face in Nigeria. With the look of things is like insecurity is far from over. I pray all the passengers and soldiers adopted will be rescued alive and safe. |
Kudo's to the NDLEA for this operation. But the NDLEA need to do more. NIGERIA is gradually losing the war against drugs. They sell tramadol and codeine openly in places like Garki, Apo, Gwagwalada and Maraba. Drugs have flooded the streets, and more young boys and girls are going into drug addiction. I think the NDLEA must have a good intelligence to track how this drugs enter Abuja and environs. Those guys that go about every midnight disguising like kabu- kabu driver's are drug seller's. They use mostly this old golf car, Toyota Solara, and sometimes they go on okada. They use their phone to control their clients to sell their drugs in the mid night. You see them driving around from 2:00am - 4:00am. They are obvious in areas like Durumi, Area 1, Apo, Wuse zone 4, Wuse Market environment and Berger. There is so much drugs in Abuja. |
Truth be told. The authorities must do something about the increase rate of homosexuality and gay activities in the NDA, it will soon get out of hand. In December of 2024, A Lieutenant in the Nigerian Army by name Lt. Abubakar was arrested for allegedly engaging in homosexual acts and molesting junior colleagues in Bama, Borno State. Military sources confirmed the arrest of the officer, identified by the military police under the 7th Division of the Nigerian Army. He was reportedly caught in the act . Such activities started in the NDA. Army should spread their tentacles in the NDA. |
Eboofa:God bless you this morning. That is overdue. NIGERIA is too big to have one NDA campus in Kaduna. Since he was able to split the National Aviation College to the 6 geopolitical zone, I believe the NDA is next to be split. |
You hear sermons like this when Businessmen and pulpit bandit's have taken over the Altar. So the early saints that were poor were also ungodly. How many rich people were Prophet's in the Bible. A widow have to provide food for Elijah to feed and survive. God bless that poster who said he thinks he reads his bible upsidedown. |
The Army is now tribally and regionally balanced. Shake up like this in the past the only names I read is Hausa Fulani names. Congratulations to all the General's. God Bless NIGERIA. |
The President himself is advertising the high level of insecurity in Nigeria. This is a practical evidence that even the Aso Rock Villa is not safe. |
buckeyemedia:The bitter truth is that no tribe is free from nepotism. I worked with Igbos many years ago. The Igbo have acidic nepotism, most especially the Anambra men. Wherever they work or get appointment, they always want to be surrounded by their brother's. They will tell every lie and gossip to bring other down inorder to pave way for their Tribes men. |
The stock market is like 9ja bet. You win some, You lose some. Take heart. Life goes on. |
It is turn by turn. When Buhari was in government most government offices in Abuja was like an Hausa Fulani Community. These guys who are complaining now kept quiet. I am not a Tinubu fan, but let truth be told. Buhari is more nepotistic than Tinubu. |
I can't figure out why whenever there is an incident like this, instead of passerbys to render help to the victim, they will turn to camera men and women. I wish her quick recovery. |
The Governor should do the needful. Those protesting are yet to receive their own alert. |
@ poster, next time people do not mix action bitters with Igboya. |
Africa is a glorified jungle. When you think your country is worst, you have not seen it all. The woman did not say she was raped. They are full grown adults. Why the jungle justice? |
Maybe they think their failed Father Buhari is still the president. I trust the ijaws. Many of them will not come out alive. |
The NIGERIA Immigration must start check mating the inflow of Chinese citizens into the country. They seems to be connected to so many kind of crime. They are using mining to cover face. |
No secret in social media. Be careful. They can dig out your good and dirty past. Hummm. Fear blogger's. |
