I highly doubt accomodation will be expensive in New Brunswick BC but then again if it is Douglas college in Vancouver, then it would be expensive. . Feeding would probably be same all over canada as long as you don't live in a remote northern city or town. Difference will just be the taxes on goods that varies across provinces. Accountants do find jobs easily at least in Sask. You might start off at a lower position or get an accounting technician role to get your feet in.
I do not understand the plenty Nigerian question. You don't need Nigerians around you to suceed. Just set your own personal goals and targets. If you are looking for some sort of Nigerian associations, you will definitely find them all across Canada.
God bless you real good Salfort. I needed these assurance. Now I can breath out, hmmmmm! Thanks once again.

My brothers and sisters, congratulations to each and every one of you. I've been a silent follower. I pray God grant you all your heart desires and crown all your efforts with success in Canada, in Jesus name, men.

I am in "study in Canada thread", and "students in canada thread" which has been greatly helpful and I've been brousing a lot concerning this issue that is bothering me. I feel its here I can get the info I need.

I am 38, going for 1yr PGD accounting in Douglas college, New bronswick, BC.
Pls can someone tell me something about this province.
Are things like accommodation and feeding very expensive compared to other province's.
Can I easily get job after my studies.
Are there plenty Nigerians there.

Pls family, help me out.
Pls don't refer me to another thread.
Thank you

Qudkom:
It's difficult progressing into Msc. Program with and hnd certificate. Your best route towards a masters degree program is a Post baccalaureate diploma program. A post baccalaureate program is a bridge between the bsc credits you are lacking and a potential msc program should you come out in flying colours.

I will also advise you to seek the institutions admission department so they can guide you accordingly. All the best.
Thank you very much Qudkom, for this piece of advice. I will send them a mail

[quote author=Oganammuo post=78821451]Pls all the gurus in the house, help me with this question.
I am working with my HND accounting. Masters is a must in my field for promotion and other incentives. I've been brousing and realise that no matter how high my cgpa is, I can't be admitted into Canadian uni for masters in accounting.
I have two options: 1yr PGD or 2yrs PGD. Now choosing Iyr PGD, so I can come back and use it to enrole into masters in Nigeria. Or 2yrs PGD, which is more convincing cos my aim is to obtain masters?

Can I progress to masters in Canada after completing a PGD program with HND cert?

Then you have to get certificate of occupancy and that will take u about a month or so to get it. Deed of conveyance is also for land.
It with take me more than a year here. I will spend huge amount and am not even sure I will get it at d end of the day. Maybe things will change soon.
