Oil sector in both country are not fully deregulated like Nigeria. Like 80-90% state controlled in those two countries! For an experienced economist, it can be said that there's subsidy there!

That was why I opposed the removal of fuel subsidy in this kind of system that we are operating. Subsidy was the only thing we could have benefited as citizens of Nigeria. Those countries I mentioned they are enjoying cheap fuel. Plus deregulation we can still enjoy cheap fuel that means federal government will sell crude to oil refineries in a subsidised system.
