As a woman, you are responsible for the man you dated that dumped you. Why did you choose that man? Women go from relationship to relationship without understanding why their previous relationship failed. I can tell you something, good women are like gold, nobody will have gold and leave it on the streets, nobody will see gold and not pick it up….ponder on that.

Therefore, either the woman is not valuable and has an elevated opinion of herself or she allowed herself to be picked by someone who does not appreciate the value of gold. If it is the latter, the first question that a woman should ask herself is what made me choose such a man and 2 it should never happen to a woman twice. The problem is that most women will always blame everybody else but themselves.

Most women don’t take responsibility for their errors so they repeat. A university classmate who is divorced and I met at a party, we were catching up and she told me she is divorced, she cursed and cursed her ex husband until I asked her where did you go wrong, she was about to attack me for even suggesting she had any part to play in the divorce until I said to her…..you chose to marry him, I accept as you say he was a bad man, what made you marry a bad man? That’s on you! You could tell it never occurred to her and no one had been that blunt with her. The truth, she was never a grade A chick in school, probably a B-. And as you can see even from the brief conversation I shared had always had a bit of an elevated opinion of herself coupled with an attitude problem. I never knew her husband but knowing her I would have been shocked if she married a fade A man.

I still insist in what I said. The word sheep in wolf clothing what does that mean. Are they no good looking and gentle guys but they are like devils. Forget all these many episodes you have up there. They are men who have destroyed the lives of some ladies.
When the Bible tells you that the heart of men are wicked although that scripture is not gender base but it tells you how wicked people can be. Our prayers are not to meet terrible people who position themselves like good people but they are evil.
Do not role out the dark part of life. Good people do encounter terrible people who pretend as angels of light at the beginning until they strike.
Understand one thing no matter how good you are people can leave you. Kaka wife left him because she said he is too perfect for her. Anybody can be left. Know this and have peace.

We are what we attract is never a law but a saying that is not always true.
Your classmates experience is not a formula for life. People have different experiences. Good attract bad too. That is why we pray so that we fall not into temptation.

The problem I see in many of the women my age who ended up unmarried was the criteria for selecting a man in the 1st place. That strategy may get you a man if you don’t care what kind of man you get. A good man is not a good man if he doesn’t know how to select a good woman. A good man will know if you are not fully committed to him. A woman with multiple male suitors today is likely having sex with more than one of them. This is not the 1950s where you keep men hanging on without sex and the men are ok with it.


My advice to women is find a good man and make it impossible for him to think of spending his life with any other woman but you.

But you as a woman have to know what a good man is. Most girls don’t and that’s why they end up on the shelf. Most of the time the problem is your definition or criteria for a good man. Just as a good man looks beyond your looks, he looks at your friends, your family, he asks is this a woman I want raising my child, is this a family I want to marry into, are her friends the kind of people I want around my wife, will I have a peaceful home etc etc, a woman must also look beyond the superficial, is he ambitious, is he well grounded, who are his friends, his family, how does he treat people, how do people treat him, what are his values. When you meet a man who ticks the boxes, hold on to him and don’t let go. Men marry wives, women don’t marry husbands. If you don’t make yourself marryable you won’t get a husband or you will have to settle for crumbs.

In all of this though, many women are simply unmarryable. So one thing I find is many women can’t answer sincerely the question, am I a good woman, am I the kind of woman a good man will marry.

Are there no go women who have suffered in the hands of bad men. Relationship challenges could come with different form and sizes. Lagos- calabar coastal road is not a fraud. If you have been to the section from VI which is just at the front of Eko Atlantic City, then you will know it was a brilliant idea.
