Is the Ronaldo the best footballer ever? Maybe not.. But is he the most Marketable? Yes! On Instagram alone, he has almost 650 millions followers .. The most followed person in the world, do you know how insane that is? He is also the most followed person on Facebook with over 170 Million followers. In total, across his social media handles, he has got over 1Billion followers. Ronaldo makes between $1.6m to $3.2m per Instagram post. He made over $45m in endorsements in 2024, his salary was around $215m. The last big brand we had like this was David Beckham and he was English.. Just imagine if Ronaldo was English and has a superstar wife. Forbes estimates that Ronaldo is going to be a billionaire sometime this year, the first footballer to ever achieve that feat. So while Lionel Messi might be the Best Footballer on the planet, Cristiano Ronaldo is the most Marketable.

Baba no gree pick him call o so I decided to go and talk to the gods by myself. Maybe na dream or na vision, dem sha show me 10 matches to bet on. Me sef don learn small work from Baba. Arsenal (vs Leicester) Saturday Aston Villa (vs Ipswich) Saturday Bournemouth (vs Southampton) Saturday Liverpool (vs Wolves) Sunday PSG (vs Toulouse) Saturday Marseille (vs Saint Etienne) Saturday Real Madrid (vs Osasuna) Saturday Atletico Madrid (vs Celta Vigo) Saturday AC Milan (vs Verona) Saturday Atalanta (vs Cagliari) Saturday Sportybet Code - 95C091E |
My baba does not sleep or slumber, I want Man city to remember this season as the season they saw shege! As I said on Monday, I want them out of the Champions League. Pep Guardiola has ruined football enough for me o, I want him to suffer for his sins. This has been Manchester City's worst season in years and somehow they thought they could beat Real Madrid? In the Champions League? Imagine the insult. Manchester City to win the Champions League is at 20 Odds now - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001286371/winner I mentioned last week that Guardiola spent almost 200million and did not buy a proper Right back. Man City started the game with Akanji at right back and was doing well against Vinicius. Then he got injured and the young Rico Lewis was brought in face one of the most dangerous players in the world. As expected he could not cope and was partly at fault for the final goal of the match. Real Madrid to win the Champions League is now 6.00 Odds here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001286371/winner Once again, I will remind to bet on Real Madrid to win this year's Champions League. Last night felt like a proper Champions League final and they showed what they can do when pushed.

Hmmm, How should I even begin this? Champions league Playoffs start tomorrow and I need some teams to go home. Some of them don not deserve to be there, the others I just hate. Make we start with the ones I hate. First off, MANCHESTER CITY needs to go home. Like Arsenal Fan will tell you, Pep and his men need to be humble. Losing form since October, ruining a lot of tickets, they just went and spent over 200Million without buying a proper Right back. No wahala, let them get out first. Mancity to win is at 2.30 Odds here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001989700/manchester-city-real-madrid Real Madrid are still my sure bet to win this year's Champions league but the issues with their defenders might be the problem. Alaba, Rudiger, Carvajal, Militao and Vaquez are all out of the match against Mancity. That means they have no Senior Center back and Right back for the match. Haaland fit Score Hattrick on Tuesday night. Mancity vs Real Madrid Over 2.5 Goals is at 1.51 Odds here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001989700/manchester-city-real-madrid Now the second team I need to get out is PSG, I know they have started spending with sense and growing but I need them to suffer another year. This team had all the money in the world, got Mbappe, Neymar, Messi, Ibrahimovic, Thiago Silva amongst other players yet they never put out a balanced team. For their stupidity, I need them to suffer one more year, Sorry to Dembele. And I like Brest ![]() PSG to beat Brest is at 1.40 Odds here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001989682/stade-brest-29-paris-saint-germain I don't have anything against Juventus o but they have been very horrible this season, Thiago Motta is definitely still learning on the job and that is not what a top team like Juve needs but since they have decided to go that route, God be with them but let them get out. Juventus to win is at 1.93 Odds here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001989699/juventus-psv-eindhoven

After all the sacrifice and prayers wey Baba give me on Friday, Liverpool still went ahead to ruin out tickets. I did not even ask for a win oo, All i needed was goals. How could they not score against the Championship's bottom team? Are they under a curse? Yes, they are. See that Chiesa should just retire from professional football and go open a bar somewhere in South Italy. He no sabi ball at all, at all. Plymouth to win the FA cup at 200 Odds here - https://m.betking.com/sports/events/outright/football/england/fa-cup Every other prediction came in oo, just that stupid Liverpool team. In short, I pray the next team they face in the Champions League beats them. Very useless team. Make I go call Baba again, I need his predictions for this week's Champions League. Make God no let am see Liverpool for him predictions oo. I go update una later. Liverpool to win the Champions league at 5 Odds here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001286371/winner God punish Liverpool o.

Saliba played his worst match ever for Arsenal last night and there was only one reason for that, Alexander Isak. The Newcastle Striker ran rings around the Arsenal Defense and should have an two goals if not for VAR. At the other end of the pitch, Kai Havertz could not even get a shot off. Newcastle defenders were so jobless that Fabian Schar was able to press Declan Rice and win the ball in Arsenal's half for Newcastle's second goal. Isak to finish as the highest goal scorer is at 8.75 Odds here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001428805/top-goalscorer Arsenal have been fighting for titles now for at least 3 seasons but are yet to win anything. Arsenal fans are getting impatient with Mikel Arteta because everyone believes Arsenal needs a proper goal scorer to be complete. Are they right? Yes, I agree. Nobody could understand why Arteta went ahead to sign Havert for almost 70 million pounds when it was obvious that he was not an out and out Striker. He definitely did not have the numbers to justify the transfer even if he has got better numbers than fellow Striker Gabriel Jesus. Kai Havertz to finish as the highest goal scorer is at 350 Odds here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001428805/top-goalscorer Isak has 24 G/A in 27 appearances this season while Havertz is on 19 G/A in 33 matches. If those numbers are not enough to convince Arteta ,then nothing else will. Arsenal needs to get a proper 9 this summer or forget about titles. That is just the truth.

January transfer window finally closed yesterday, Monday the 3rd of January and now everyone can rest. Which team do you think made the best of the the window? There is only one answer, Liverpool. Let me tell you why. With no addition and major departure, they have maintained their squad for the season, the depth is enough for them to continue challenging on all fronts. Liverpool to win the league at 1.25 Odds here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001283714/premier-league-winner Manchester City have spent over $200million and yet are still as weak as ever. Two center backs were brought, one Center Midfielder and one forward. Yet what they need the most is a defensive midfielder to cover for the injured Rodri. That has been their major issue all season yet they have made no attempt to fix it. As much as Matteo Kovacic gives his best, he is simply not a DM. Also Kyle walker left and that is a major problem because even though he was on the decline, he was the only proper right back the club has. Rico Lewis is simply not ready especially with City to play Real Madrid and Liverpool in the next few days. God be with them. Manchester City to make Top 4 is at 1.53 here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001283719/top-4 Arsenal need a striker, everyone knows this even their village people but did they go for that? No, they have gone out to spend money on a midfielder (For next season!). Make dem no worry, Havertz sabi score na, LoL. Arsenal to win the League is at 4.50 Odds - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001283714/premier-league-winner Chelsea did what they still need to do, they let go of 6 players including Joao Felix and Renato Veiga , players they just bought six months ago o. God be with them. Chelsea to make Top 4 is at 1.50 Odds - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001283719/top-4 Manchester United are not going to relegate, we know that but they are not going anyway either. Marcus Rashford was loaned out to Aston Villa, finally no more excess luggage. However they did not bring in any attacker and for the rest of the season, they are left with Hojlund, Zirkzee, Amad and Garnacho as their forwards. Now Ruben Amorim plays with 3 attackers , Let's pray nobody gets injured. They brought in Dorgu as a left wing back and let Malacia go. Manchester United to finish in the top half of the league is at 3.0 Odds here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001289070/to-finish-in-top-half

5-1 5-1 5-1... Pep Guardiola could not believe the score-line, the last time his team was beaten this heavily was during the 2020/21 season when Leicester city won 5-2 at the Etihad. But at the Emirates yesterday, Arsenal did not just beat City, They humiliated them. Maybe Arsenal did not plan to beat them that much but from the moment Partey scored the second goal, it was all over. Arsenal kept on going and going, hungry for more blood. If the match had gone on for 30 more minutes, the score-line might have been 10. Mancity to win the League at 100 Odds - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001283714/premier-league-winner This season, Man City have been horrible but yesterday's match was the worst of the bunch. Mancity could not lay a finger on them, asides the Haaland chance, City were not sure how or where to attack. Meanwhile Arsenal kept going at Matheus Nunez who was playing as a makeshift right back. Phil foden had a horrible game and was directly responsible of the Partey goal, it was not surprising that He was taken off early in the second half. What exactly is the problem with the whole team? The answer is Pep! Arsenal to win the League at 4.50 Odds - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001283714/premier-league-winner Rodri is out, the team is without a proper DM yet City have spent over $150 million yet no proper DM has been brought in, continuing with Kovacic at the base of the midfield has always been a ticking time bomb and Arsenal took full advantage with their transitions. Next match for City is Orient and then they will welcome Champions of Europe Real Madrid to the Etihad. Vinicius up against Nunez? Mbappe? While Madrid have defensive issues of their own, this is not the time to play them Mancity to make Top 4 at 1.50 Odds - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001283719/top-4 Once again, Pep Guardiola needs to resign and take a break from coaching for a bit, He is losing it.

Mbappe nearly ruined most tickets but we still delivered. If you had Juventus on your tickets, sorry o but play today's games. Today, we go again with 18 Europa League Matches to be played. Before we make the predictions, let's know which teams have qualified. Lazio, Franfurt and Atletico Bilbao have all qualified automatically, Manchester United need a draw to be sure of their qualification. So those games are better to bet on goals. Roma vs Franfurt : this match should be Roma win/draw with over 1.5 goals. Franfurt have already qualified for the next round and they just sold their best player Marmoush to Manchester City. Roma needs a win to be sure of qualification. Bet here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001936006/as-roma-eintracht-frankfurt Ajax vs Galatasaray : Ajax needs a win to be sure while Galatasaray need just a draw. With Ajax at home , a safe bet will be for both teams. You want to play safe or go big? Let's look at the best bets for tonight's Champions league Group games. First you need to know that the top 4 teams Liverpool, Barcelona, Arsenal and Inter Milan have all qualified so for your own good, Avoid them oo, They will likely rest players especially Liverpool and Arsenal. Barcelona has a bad injury list so resting their senior players is a likely idea. Manchester City need a win at all cost and they are home to Club Brugge who need just a draw, might be the best game tonight. Lille vs Feyenoord should be a game of goals, they are 12th and 11th on the table respectively, play off slots guaranteed. Over 1.5 goals should be the best bet. Bet here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001932288/lille-osc-feyenoord-rotterdam Brest vs Real Madrid is going to be a really open game but considering the form of Madrid's front 3, it is best to bet on a Madrid win and over 2.5 goals. You can also bet on Mbappe to score. Bet here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001932294/stade-brest-29-real-madrid Manchester City needs a win to qualify, Club Brugge needs a draw to qualify. Considering ManCity's form these days, it is going to be hard to bet a straight win on them o. The odds for Club Brugge win or draw is at 4.45 Odds. Bet here- https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001932297/manchester-city-club-brugge Liverpool have qualified and dropped a lot of their players for this particular match, PSV win and some goals in this match. Bet here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001932285/psv-eindhoven-liverpool-fc Dortmund have already qualified for the play offs and are at home to Shaktar who need a win at all cost. Bet on corners and goals for this match. Bet here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001932287/borussia-dortmund-fc-shakhtar-donetsk Both teams have qualified but Atalanta might be fighting for an automatic slot. Barcelona might think it is a good time to rotate their team. Best bet is on Atalanta win or draw and a lot of goals too. Just over a month ago, Chelsea Coach, players and fans were shouting that they are not in the Title race. And now it seems God, sorry their Village people has heard their cries. Now they are not in the title race, they are not even in the top 4 anymore. They are in 6th position, one point behind Newcastle and Manchester City( who could not win a league match for almost 2 months). What is the problem? Chelsea to make top 4 is at 1.66 Odds here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001283719/top-4 Number problem for Chelsea at the moment is their Defense starting with Goalkeeper Sanchez. He seems to be a very soft target these days and for good reasons too. He has cost them a lot of points over the last 18 months starting with the 2-2 draw at home against Arsenal Last season. Last weekend, he gave away a goal to Wolves after dropping the ball at the feet of an opponent. This weekend, with the match at 1-1 and Haaland contesting the ball with Trevor Chalobah, Sanchez decided to come off his line for no reason at all. This gave Haaland an empty net to aim at from distance, once he had beaten Chalobah. Only God knows what Enzo Maresca would say now after the Chelsea coach had spent the last few weeks defending his goalkeeper. Chelsea to win the Premier League is at 80.00 Odds here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001283714/premier-league-winner Two lesser problems for Chelsea now is getting actual Center backs and another goalscoring outlet asides Palmer and Jackson. At the moment , Chelsea have 5 senior center backs - Chalobah, Colwill, Tosin, Disasi and Badiashile (Not adding Fofana because he is never fit). All these five are bang average and the sooner the club realizes that, the better. A new and better finisher is also needed to lift the scoring burden off Nicolas Jackson and Palmer. Nicolas is still in his transition period from a winger to a full striker and has now gone six league games without a goal. The sooner help arrives, the better for Chelsea else ..... Village people are simply going to win. Cole Palmer to win the Golden boot is at 18.00 Odds here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001428805/top-goalscorer

If there was ever an evidence that ManCity are at the end of a cycle, it was last night's match against PSG. Two goals up inside the first ten minutes of the second half, this was the kind of match that we knew often knew the end. But PSG had other ideas, two goals under five minutes brought them level and by the end of the match, they had added two more to see off a sorry City side. Now Man city have to beat Club Brugge at the Etihad to stand a chance of getting to the PlayOff rounds. Anything less and they will be out of Europe for the season. Once again, we need them out! ![]() Club Brugge to win/Draw is at 4.65 Odds here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001932297/manchester-city-club-brugge Other teams still struggling include Real Madrid,PSG and Bayern Munich But a draw is enough to see all three teams through to the Play-off stage. Liverpool need just a draw to be confirmed as group stage winners. Barcelona, Arsenal and Inter Milan as guaranteed qualifications to the quarter-final stage. Bayern Munich to make Top 8 is at 7 Odds here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001494623/league-stage-top-8 The bottom 10 Teams are all out of the competition and have nothing to play for especially BSC Young Boys and Slovian who have lost all their matches and have a goal difference of -20 and -18 respectively.

Paris St Germain needs to help the football world today, they need to beat Manchester City for some peace to reign. We are at the business stage of the Champions league group stage now and the new format is throwing up a lot of surprises. Defending Champions Real Madrid are in 22nd position but look likely to qualify based on their remaining two fixtures. However, attention should be paid to Manchester City especially their match against PSG tonight in Paris. See different Odds for the Group Stage Winner here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001494623/league-stage-top-8 Both teams are in trouble at the moment. ManCity is in 24th with 8 points from 6 matches while PSG are in 26th with a point lesser. They both have two matches to go and tonight go against each other in a dangerous winner takes all set up. PSG's final group stage match is away to Stuttgart, on paper, that is going to be a very tough trip. Mancity are going to be home to Club Brugge, that should be an easy 3 points for them. Halaand to Finish as the Highest Goal Scorer is at 5.50 Odds here -https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001494621/top-goalscorer Mancity are hitting top form at the right time again and with the latest signing of Omar Marmoush, the rest of Europe should be scared. Well, the rest of Europe asides Real Madrid who I believe will win this year's Title. Kevin De Bruyne is , Foden is running ragged again and Halaand is back scoring. The best thing to happen now is for PSG to give them a worthy defeat and leave them on the brink of Elimination. Lewandoski to Finish as the Highest Goal scorer is at 3.00 Odds here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001494621/top-goalscorer

January has always been a quiet month in the football calendar for both matches and transfers. It is a month everyone just wants to fast forward and forget about. That is until UEFA decided to revamp the Champions league format and have everyone fighting for their lives. Every team now has to play against 8 different opponents in the group league stage. This new format is causing a whole lot of issues for most of Europe's traditional big teams. Real Madrid currently have 9 points from 6 matches and sit 20th on a table of 36 teams. Liverpool to top the Group stage is currently at 1.10 Odds here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001494622/league-stage-winner French Giant PSG are looking to crash out at this level. Currently 25th on the table with 7 points from 6 matches, their next game is at home to a resurgent Manchester City. Manchester City are also having issues and sit 22nd on the table with 2 losses, 2 draws and 2 wins. A defeat in Paris might be the end of their European season. Barcelona to top the Group Stage is at 6.00 Odds here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001494622/league-stage-winner At the other end of the table, Liverpool remain undefeated with an amazing 6 wins out of 6 matches and looking like sure bankers to top the group stage. Behind them is Barcelona with 5 wins and 1 defeat in 6. Arsenal, Bayer Leverkusen, Inter Milan and Aston Villa are also looking to automatically make it out of the group stage. Liverpool to win the Champions league is currently at 5 Odds here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001286371/winner But we all know once you are out the group stage, it is a different ball game. Best bet is still on Real Madrid to win the Champions league. Liverpool appear to be second favorites. Real Madrid to make Top 8 is currently at 35.00 Odds here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001494623/league-stage-top-8

Amad Diallo! Remember that name or maybe don't get used to it. Southampton, the team at the bottom of the Premier League was about to get away with a quick smash and grab at Old trafford. That is until Manchester United's new Superman Amad stepped up with a late second half Hattrick. It all came from nowhere, just a good combination of good feet and thinking. Manchester United to win the Europa League is at 5.75 Odds here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001494651/winner But We have seen this before, haven't we? Anthony Martial's "Great" debut against Liverpool, giving Martin Skrtel the run around. And then there was Marcus Rashford, the next best thing since Sliced bread as Manchester United fans told us. Every opportunity was a chance to compare Rashford to Kylian Mbappe, the french prodigy. Only problem is while Mbappe has gone from steps to steps, trophies to trophies and is now the biggest Galatico in the world, Rashford is looking for a new club an game time. It is really funny that Rashford has given United just one World class season, just one and they rushed to give him a super contract. Ever since he signed that contract, his performances for United has taken a nosedive. Now he can't even start a match for United and looking for a new club, problem is who is going to take on his 350k a week salary? Manchester United to make top 4 is at 80 Odds here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001283719/top-4 Amad has renewed his contract which was due to expire in a few months, while it might not be a bumper contract as the one given to Marcus Rashford, the question now is can he go further and give United more consistent seasons than Rashford ever gave or will he be just another failed story?

I like football a lot, sports in general. Competition is always very interesting, gets the blood pumping well. But I don't know how to bet, na my problem be that. I always wait on my friends to drop booking codes and then I edit am, I win most times. Because i watch sports a lot, I can predict and make a few corrections to their codes. The problem is if they don't give me any code, I don't bet. Na where wahala dey for me be that. After complaining to one of them severally, he just told me to go to Betking and check for Code Zone and Omo! see as codes plenty. The codes were too much, e be like say I jam new work. All I do is pick codes with good odds and edit, my head no carry odds wey pass 50 Odds. Get the best betting codes here - https://m.betking.com/sports/code-zone Pick a code, play and Win. No Rashford, No problem. Amorim just needed players that were ready to work for him to get a point off Liverpool and knock Arsenal out of the FA cup. The problem with Manchester United for years has been thought to be the coaches but the last two years have shown that the players are simply not good enough or motivated enough to do anything. Hard and expensive as it may seem, United need a total revamp of their playing personnel especially if they want Ruben Amorim to succeed. Players like Marcus Rashford, Mason Mount, Eriksen, Casemiro, Antony , Malacia, Luke Shaw all need to find new clubs. Manchester United to win The Europa League is at 5.75 Odds here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001494651/winner Eriksen and Casemiro are way past their prime and should be allowed out the door. Eriksen's contract expires at the end of the season so his exit is already assured. Casemiro just needs an offer from Saudi or the MLS, any offer at all and he is gone. Luke Shaw has flattered to deceive on more than one occasions. All that talk about him being prime Roberto Carlos when fit needs to die because he is never fit. Manchester United to make the Premier League Top 6 is at a very good 15.00 Odds here - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001430979/top-6 Marcus Rashford's body might be at Manchester United but his mind is somewhere else, who knows where? He has only give United one, just one exceptional season and it is hilarious to think he was even compared to Kylian Mbappe at some point. He is the focal point of everything wrong with United, their obsession with home grown heroes even when they are mid players. They need to let it go. Anything to say about Mason Mount or Antony? Na too much Money dey worry United then.

Where to start from, this is year 6 and the most significant thing Mikel Arteta has done for Arsenal is get them back into the Champions League. Everything he has done is to sell them dreams and create illusions of doing something right. You can’t spend over 700 million pounds and the only thing to show for it is a single FA trophy. I don’t think Arteta is a bad coach, I just think he is at a crossroad and that does not bode well for Arsenal. Should he be more progressive (Pep) or Conservative (Mourinho). Most matches this season have shown that he is tilting more towards being conservative. While that is not a bad thing and has had several teams win titles, you must be 100% committed to it. Right now, Arteta is not. He wants to be Pep and wants to win Titles; the problem is he cannot beat Pep in his own game. Next option is a Mourinho, but Arteta seems not to be sure what or who he wants to be. This season Arsenal seems to have no game plan when attacking. Apart from the set pieces which Arsenal seem to have become masters of, there is no other assured outlet to get goals. And with Bukayo Saka out for a sizeable period, Arsenal are in trouble. It is not hard to find Arsenal playing with four center backs and 2/3 defensive midfielders these days. His transfer choices have also been called into question, was the signing of Kai Havertz (65 million pounds) necessary? What is his exact role? Why did Arteta not go for an out and out striker when it was obvious they really needed one? Arteta needs time off to decide who he wants to be, what he wants his game plan to be. Does he want to win titles, does he want to keep playing beautiful football or can he trust himself enough to do both?

Kylian Mbappe started the match doing Mbappe things, slicing through the Barcelona before providing a sweet finish to put Madrid ahead under Five minutes. And that was all, by the end of the first half, Real Madrid conceded four goals. Final score was Madrid 2 Barcelona 5, this was despite Barcelona having their goalkeeper sent off. This also makes it the second time this season that Barcelona has taken Madrid to the cleaners. However, this time Barcelona walked away with the Super Cup trophy. Forget what the La Liga table might tell you, there is something wrong with Real Madrid this season and I think it is time for us to admit it. Carlo Ancelotti might need to retire from Club Management. Real Madrid to Win the La Liga is at 1.80 Odds here - https://m.betking.com/sports/events/outright/football/spain/la-liga Yes, Madrid have been unfortunate with injuries especially in the Center back positions but with the quality of players, they should not be losing to a Barcelona team going through all sorts of transition. There seems to be no laid-out plan for Real Madrid except to get the ball out to Vinicius or Mbappe and wait for them to work on some Magic. This has always been Ancelotti’s method. Work out the right formation, the right players for each position and send them out to play. Not much on tactical instructions on what to do when in/out of possession. While this has worked a lot over the years and won him countless trophies, it is time for a new approach. These days “progressive” coaches have patterns coached to the players to do when with/without the ball. If to switch to 3 at the bank when attacking or a single/double pivot, when to overload and switch wings. But for Real Madrid, however, it is a simple matter of everyone know your position and work hard, the end. According to Rumors, Madrid is looking to hire Xabi Alonso at the end of next season but from the looks of things, it just might be wiser to make that move a year early. What a match?! What a way to start the New year for Manchester United fans. Going away to the most in-form team in Europe and current league leaders Liverpool was a trip nobody wanted to make. Not even the most optimistic United fan wanted to go to Anfield. But they went ,they saw and they nearly conquered. If Zirkzee had taken a shot instead of passing to Maguire, if Maguire had been more composed...perhaps this year might have started with a bang for United fans. Bets had gone out for Liverpool to run riot, for Mo Salah to get a hattrick or more but man proposes...... A 2-2 result away to Liverpool might just be the best way to start the year after all. Bruno Fernandes played one of the games of his United career as he was all over the place, making the right tackles, passes (His assist for Lisandro's Martinez's goal was heavenly). If Fernandes was the man of the match, Manual Ugarte was right in second place showing United fans just what they had been expecting from Casemiro. Ruben Amorim might finally be getting boys to play in his way. Although a decision might have to be made if this is the right time for Leny Yoro to get a shirt ahead of De ligt who had a horrible game. Manchester United to make the Top 4 is now at 100 Odds - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001283719/top-4

2024 was a fun year for football fans all over the world, well I am not sure Manchester City fans are going to agree with that. Because even though they won the premier league for the fourth time in a row, they ended the year as one of the worst teams on Earth. On the other side of town, Manchester United is closer to relegation than the top 4. The last few weeks seems to have shown us that the problem has always been the players and not the coaching personnel apparently. Can they put themselves together to avoid relegation with just 7 points separating them and the bottom 3? Manchester City to Win the League is at 40.00 Odds on Betking - https://m.betking.com/sports/events/outright/football/england/premier-league Kylian Mbappe finally moved to Real Madrid, a move 5 years in the making. And after a few shaky months, he seems to be settling in okay. with a good supporting cast of Vinicius and Jude Bellingham, it is going to hard to stop them in full flow. Not even Liverpool might be able to. Never bet against the biggest club on the planet although they might be unable to retain their La Liga crown with Atletico Madrid looking like the most serious team in the League right now. Real Madrid to win The Champions League is currently at a huge 35.00 Odds https://m.betking.com/sports/events/outright/football/england/premier-league Atletico Madrid to win the Spanish La Liga at 4.50 Odds - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001286368/winner The toughest League in the world right now might be the Italian Serie A with just 1 point separating the Top 3 teams. Atlanta, Napoli and Inter Milan have the right coaches to get them through a dog fight. Napoli might have the slight advantage with their lack of European football this season giving them enough days off between match days. With 2024 a few days from wrapping up, we might as well have this conversation of the best footballer of the year. Rodri got the Ballon D'or while Vinicius got the FIFA's best. In all honesty, neither should have won anything. The real player of the year for 2024 is Jude Bellingham. What is even shocking is why Real Madrid went with pushing a campaign for Vinicius when he was not even their own player of the year. Bellingham was Real Madrid's player of the year and also La Liga player of the season. So how exactly did Madrid expect award organizers/voters to take them seriously? As for Rodri, the less said, the better. 2023 should have been his year but FIFA's fixation of breaking into the American market led the award going to Lionel Messi. And the conversation steers towards team trophies, then Dani Carvajal should have swept all the awards. He was very instrumental to Madrid winning the league and UCL double(Scoring in the Champions League final), same for the Spanish team winning the EUROS. All that is done and gone now, Who do you think is going to be the Player of the year for 2025?

Manchester City have no plans to sack Pep Guardiola ,not now, not in the nearest future. After all, this is the coach that has put the club on the world map not to mention the 4-peat Premier league titles (a record by the way). So it is totally understandable for them to be unbothered about the team's current run of bad form/luck. But the question is how bad is bad? How bad does it have to get before Guardiola raises an eyebrow and rips apart his contract. He signed a new one year right at the start of the current form which has give us 8 losses in 12 matches now. The signs do not look good or suggest that they will get back on track anytime soon, the players looked to have given up on the season already. Pep Guardiola might be a great coach, perhaps the greatest but one thing he has never really excelled at is team rebuilding. Think of How Sir Alex Ferguson reinvented his title winning squads over and over again, Pep has never had to do that. He has always just got to get pieces that would fit into his system and that is why instead of getting a younger midfield option, he has gone to resign Ilkay Gundogan on a free transfer. That is why the team is still dependent on a 33yr old Kevin De Bruyne after selling 22yyr old Cole Palmer to Chelsea, which is why there is no stand in replacement for Rodri after selling out Romeo Lavia. It is always why Pedro Porro is flourishing at Tottenham and Kyle Walker is having the worst season of his career. Can Pep rebuild? how long and how much is it going to take? Or he should just throw in the towel? Manchester City to win the League is currently at 35.00 odds on BetKing - https://m.betking.com/sports/events/outright/football/england/premier-league Nobody not even Arne Slot himself would have predicted the amazing season Liverpool is having. Top of England, top of Europe....Who or what can stop them? Not sure even a drop in form for Mo Salah would be enough to stop this train. This was very evident in Sunday's Demolition of Tottenham Hotspurs. Let's check back by February now, shall we? Arsenal football club has been in the wilderness for so long that they had forgotten what competing for titles felt like.....well, that was until Mikel Arteta came along. Pep Guardiola's trusted right hand, the man to led Arsenal into the promise Land. Now stepping about to step into his Sixth year and with hundreds of millions of pounds spent, it is safe to say He has gotten the team as far as he can. It is a little sad that all he has got to show for it is just one FA cup trophy not to mention bottling the title race twice. There might be a case for him to be given a little more time but the truth is if Chelsea wins a league title before he does, he needs to go. Arteta and former football director Edu were given a free hand to assemble what they believed to be the strongest Arsenal team in years yet they have gassed out at the business end of the last two league seasons while also losing to the weakest Bayern Munich team in decades (UCL). He has gotten Arsenal to the gates but getting them in seems to be beyond his powers. Arsenal to win the Premier League Title is currently at 4.75 Odds on BetKing - https://m.betking.com/sports/events/outright/football/england/premier-league

The theme for this weekend seems to be "Nobody wants the title" across Europe. Let's start with the most popular English Premier League when League Leaders Liverpool dropped points at home to Fulham while Arsenal could not find a way past Everton at the Emirates. Manchester city got burned at the derby, losing 1-2 to United. That is 8 loses in 11 matches for Pep Guardiola now, time for him to go? Chelsea on the other hand got a win over Brentford with Nicolas Jackson stepping up to make up for his misses. Hard to deny at this point that they are favorites for the title. Chelsea to win the Premier league is currently at 4.50 on BetKing - https://m.betking.com/sports/events/outright/football/england/premier-league Atletico are currently the most inform team in LaLiga at the moment (They have not lost any match since the 1-0 defeat to Real Betis on October 27th) and they stepped up again with a 1-0 win over Getafe. This on a weekend where usual suspects Barcelona and Real Madrid dropped points. Madrid drawing away to Real Vallecano and Barcelona losing at home to Leganes. Perhaps this is another time for a third party to win the league. Atletico to win the La Liga is currently at 5.50 on BetKing - https://m.betking.com/sports/match/1001286368/winner

"You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villain" is a popular quote that should be ringing long and clear in Pep Guardiola's head at the moment. The Manchester City boss is at his lowest, never has he had to face such a crisis in his fabled coaching career. One win and two draws in a run of ten games is enough to get any Grade A coach fired not to mention any regular coach. But while we agree that is not enough for City to get rid of Pep, the question is if and how soon he can rediscover his magic touch. The signs at the moment don't look so good, from Pep reminding the Anfield crown about his six titles to self harming after the draw against Feyenoord, this does not look like a man on a recovery path. If anything, he is beginning to seem more and more like a Mourinho on the path to self destruct. Unfortunately it is not about to get easier with the Manchester derby up next for him and his soldiers. Wednesday night's loss against a Juventus team also out of form has thrown up the most obvious question. Is it time from Pep to take another sabbatical from Football or is this just a blip? What do you think?
