PSG has announced that winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has torn his ACL is out of the season. The winger got injured in the 4-2 over Barcelona on tuesday night. Now the club has announced that he is officially out of the season. These are trying times for PSG as Ousmanne Dembele and Marquinhos were also substituted due to injuries during the match.

Lionel Messi has announced his retirement from international football. In a statement put out on Monday, 31st of August 2026, Messi thanked the people of Argentina and the world in general for the last 20 years.

Messi played 207 matches for Argentina, scoring 125 goals while assisting 68 more. He won 6 trophies in total for the national team, including the World Cup in Qatar in 2022. He is widely regarded as the greatest footballer ever.

South Korea came from a goal down to Czechia in the second game of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Chelsea have agreed with part ways with Head coach Enzo Maresca (Fabrizio Romano Reports) barely a month after he accused people with the club of not supporting him. Transfer Guru Fabrizio Romano released a tweet on X a few minutes ago saying the club has come to a final decision and an official statement would be put out within the next 24 hours.
