You have just **without any shame** copied an article from http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/root-android-phone-superoneclick-2/ into your blog. The original article dated from March 2011, when there was no Tecno T3 yet. You didn't even take the pain of changing any words or any of the screenshots. In fact, you didn't even try this method with a Tecno T3 device, and if you did, you'd see it would fail. Great pretender that can't be of any help.

Blov: The process is very simple, make sure debugging is on, wen u click root, after it has started, turn off d debugging and wait, wen prompted, turn it on again, 'partial rooting' will take place, unplug d phone, plug it back and root again, this time everything will b rooted and the superuser also install. Remove the battery, place it back and turn on the phone. Good luck!

i dont have a T3, but so far it hasn't been rooted. i will advice you to get a t1 and root it following the steps shown on tecnoandroidspot..com

yes, you could install apps to the memory card, if you've installed app2sd pro. And i think considering screen size and resolution, number of SIM slots, the GPU, dual camera with flash, the T3 beats the galaxy pocket, check the full specs here at tecnoandroidspot..com

Blov: I'm yet to try it on any T3, so i may nt categorically confirm that it will work, but similar things happen wen i tried rooting my T1, until I finally scaled thru. But i strongly bliv dat T3 can be rooted! Yet to place my hand on any one.

I think the bootloader is locked. And that is preventing the phone from being rooted.

i used a tecno b4 and it wasnt even android. But i'm prating for resources to buy a t1. But b4 then i want to have everything i'll need down including a custom rom

[center]see guy dont be angry, still working on it. as soon as i have the phone i"ll try it myself but i"m on a wing here. for any one using a rooted tecno t1, please do this:

get terminal emulator from the market to your rooted device and type
su
tar -c system/* >> sdcard/system.tar
This will copy all your /system folder to your SDcard with name System.tar
This will take some time to finish so please be patient.

jidabod: Thanks man. I followed this procedure and I still can't find the superuser icon on my T3. Please see the attached file for the last command line after rooting.

i think the device has been locked by tecno telecom. google how to unlock it, the do that before it can be rooted but its risky.

if you read my post again you will realize i responded based on your comment. your comment implied that both phones had the same specs but the pocket has 3Gb internal memory which the Tecno didnt have

if you had listed the spec like Oge now later did, i would not have responded in that manner.

that said, there's no way you should be comparing a single sim phone to a dual sim phone. you should be looking at dual sim phones from Samsung to compare the Tecno to i.e. Samsung Galaxy S or Y duos

if price is the OP's only consideration, then a Tecno T1 with dual sim and dual camera offers more value than the Pocket, no debate

if tou want to compare the duos to the tecno t3, the t3 beats it hands down and the t1 has better pixel density screen resolution and gpu. Oh!, i forgot, the t1 comes with 8gb memory card which more than compensates for the pockets 3gb internal

check tecno mobile nigeria's page on facebook, the features are there.

please any body using the tecno t1 should learn how to root it at tecnoandroidspot..com and install clockworkmod recovery and nandroid back from the market and use them to backup your ROM and kernel (see google for how-to) and please upload to ogatimo@gmail.com. Sorry that iam giving too much work please i need it to create a custom ROM for the tecno t1 which will be available 2months after i get the ROM at the website above.
