The Concerned Christian Youth Forum (CCYF) has raised fresh alarm over what it described as an ongoing “Christian genocide” in Nigeria, urging world leaders and human rights groups to intervene before the situation spirals further out of control.

In a statement issued in Abuja on Friday and signed by its Convener, James Paul Adama, the group expressed solidarity with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and other advocates demanding justice for victims of violent attacks on Christian communities across the country.

Adama recalled that since 2010, several notable figures — including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) — have repeatedly condemned the brutal killings of Christians, yet the violence persists with little accountability.

“From villages burnt down to worshippers slaughtered in cold blood, the world cannot afford to look away any longer,” the statement read.

The CCYF noted that the international community was beginning to take notice, with senators from various nations now publicly denouncing the atrocities.

In a symbolic act of global solidarity, fans of the Romanian national football team recently displayed a banner during a World Cup qualifier match, boldly declaring support for persecuted Christians in Nigeria — a gesture the Forum described as “deeply moving and courageous.”

The group accused unnamed individuals and organisations of deliberately spreading disinformation to downplay the crisis, warning that such actions only embolden perpetrators.

“To those paid propagandists seeking to distort the truth, know this: your lies will not stand. The world is watching, and justice will come,” Adama said.

He added that those found complicit in suppressing the truth about the killings would one day be held accountable “before history and before God.”

The CCYF reaffirmed its commitment to working with both local and international partners to ensure justice for affected Christian communities, insisting that silence in the face of genocide is itself a form of complicity.

Speaking at the prayer walk and rally for the nation and international believers summit(IBS) with the theme: Possibilities, the senior pastor of nobles family international, Bishop Ebiye Tuaweri said, "we must understand what made this possible is God, so we are handing over this nation to God, while we would do our bit". "The bit we are going to do is for everyone to go and register for it doesn't matter what is happening, no body should be afraid to go and register, do his bit so we can do our vote and allow God to the best for us".

Speaking further, Ebiye stated "As we celebrate 65, no matter what we are passing through, we should work hard, everybody should work hard in anything we are doing and be careful where you go to and make sure you fall into the hands of the people who are destructive to this nation like men of the underworld". "We must do our best as a nation and see what God is going to do with us".

Also speaking at the prayer work for the nation, the bishop elect of Nobles Family Rev. Prosper Isichei said "the church has the authority to bring the moral influence, to bring about the direction both transformational and eternal direction to the country and that strength of the church is what we are trying to unleash through this kind of prayers".

"But also we think about the state of our country, Nigeria as a nation, we are at the lowest epp in our moral level, we have moral, spiritual bankruptcy today, leadership gaps, we have young and large population of people without direction and we know that the hearts of men are not controlled by rules, laws, but controlled by God".

"Only God has access to heart and makes a true heart change and that is the reason why we are here, to call upon God to touch the hearts of the people, leaders and populace to bring a moral clarity to us, offcourse the church has always been praying and praying this much, imagine of we are not paying".

"But we came here knowing that, we are joining the entire body of Christ praying for the redemption of our country and we believe, that God will do it, the first step to see physical transformation is to invest in spiritual transformation and thats what we are doing today", Rev. Prosper stressed.

Other speakers also made the call for resilience and collective action stressing that faith must drive citizens into responsible engagement; On her part part Rev. Patricia Tuaweri said; "Frankly speaking, there are cars everywhere today, even the nation is not celebrating itself but the advice is, let's not give up, let's continue to do the best we can and, everybody in their little corners should keep doing what they're suppose to be doing just like i kept saying must times, we are all lights". "Little light here and there, we will lighten up Nigeria".

"I believe strongly that, we can come back again to be the giant of Africa" Patricia emphasized.

Also speaking, Pastor Sydney Akpotive said; "if the head is correct, the body is definitely correct, but you know because we are in Nigeria, we have seen some correct heads in private organization so we know , it can work in our national as well, so we are saying to our leaders that, the Lord will give them wisdom to rise up and take up the responsibility of leading, so we know that, you make policies that are difficult for the people but, beyond those polices, put action, energy to words".

As 65, the message from faith community is clear, while prayers remains essential, the Nigeria of our dream will only emerge through honest leadership, active citizenship and a share commitment to the nations future.

A statement from the media directorate of GMBNI says, while congratulating Nafisa and her teammates for winning the competition, Amb. Fatima Mohammed Goni paid huge respect to former vice president Atiku Abubakar for not just celebrating the winners but also empowering them with scholarships.

The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr. Paul Enenche, was a special guest at the 2025 Makurdi Regional Convention of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International (FGBMFI).

Law Regulating Religious Preaching In Niger State is ill advised, anti-religious - Concerned Christian Youth Forum Warns.

The Concerned Christian Youth Forum (CCYF) have been made aware of a new policy introduced by Governor Umar Bago requiring preachers to submit their sermons for approval prior to public delivery.

In a statement made available to journalists signed by the convener; Paul James Adama, states that "Niger state has been in the limelight in recent times for some wrong reasons. This time, apart from the worrisome challenge of insecurity, the state government has exacerbated the situation by adding yet another concern to the gravely concerning condition of the state – the introduction of the law mandating all religious preachers in the state to submit their sermon notes for approval and obtain due approval from the government before preaching".

Whilst we do not subscribe to reckless, hateful and inciteful preaching, the Concerned Christian Youth Forum (CCYF) wish to, in the most unambiguous terms denounce and reject such a law and dismiss it as ill-thought, ill-advised, anti-religious, discriminatory, oppressive and preposterous. This is nothing short of religious censorship and a gross violation of the fundamental human rights of the people as it relates to their freedom of thought and religion which is enshrined in Sections 38 and 39 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Under international law, Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) which the State of Nigeria is party to as well as the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) generally consider as oppressive and illegal, any form of restriction on the rights of people to exercise their freedom of religion.
Furthermore, the United Nations Declaration on the Elimination of All Forms of Intolerance and of Discrimination Based on Religion or Belief (1981) provides for freedom of religion or belief.

These key UN instruments provide freedom of thought, conscience and religion; freedom to change religion or belief; freedom to manifest, practice or express religion or belief; prohibition of all forms of discrimination and incitement and protection for all regardless of religion or belief.

Religion is an ultra-sensitive matter in our nation as in most parts of the world, and so, it is expected of every right-thinking and well-meaning government to handle religious matters with judiciousness and caution.

Now, come to think of it, apart from a horrifying insecurity situation, Niger state is grappling with widespread poverty having one of the highest poverty rates in the country with well over 64% of her population living below the poverty line despite being the largest state in terms of land mass. Basie infrastructures like electricity, healthcare facilities, drinkable water supply and education are out of reach of most of the population.

The average adult literacy rate of the state is somewhere in the region of 38.1% as at 2022 far below the national average of 63.16%. Appalling!
Tackling these underlying developmental issues should be the concerns of any well-meaning government and not stifling religious freedom. Even the insecurity situation in the state could be a direct offshoot of the abysmal poverty and underdevelopment prevalent in the state.

Therefore, formulating people-oriented policies aimed at enhancing the economic prospects of the state and lifting people out of poverty should be the major focus of any right-thinking government and not resorting to diversionary tactics by introducing a totally irrelevant, unreasonable, illogical and inappropriate law.

At this point, we join other well-meaning voices both within and outside the state as well as across religious divides in denouncing this obnoxious, oppressive, repressive and retrograde law.
We stand for religious sanity and denounce every form of inflammatory speech or religious incitement.

However, we appeal to the government of Niger state to jettison forthwith, the law subjecting preachers to mandatory licensing and requiring preachers to submit their sermon notes for verification and approval.

This is in the interest of good governance, peace, justice, respect for the Rule of Law, the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the relevant instruments and charters of the United Nations on religious freedom.

The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr Paul Enenche, made this known on Wednesday in well articulated and delivered keynote address at the Uganda Leadership & Economic Summit, held in Kampala.

The summit coincided with the ongoing Healing and Deliverance Crusade in the country.

The high-profile event brought together distinguished personalities, including the Minister of Kampala, Hon. Minsa Kabanda; Pastor Robert Kayanja and his wife, Pastor Jessica Kayanja; the Ambassador of Ethiopia to Uganda, H.E. Etsegenet Bezabih Yimenu; and Hon. He further outlined the hallmarks of responsible leadership: being in touch with the people, accepting responsibility for their challenges, mobilizing resources for their welfare, building and rebuilding systems and structures, and fostering human development.

According to him, “A leader is a generational asset. When someone is a leader, his presence is felt, his absence is noticed and people experience the positivity of his impact.”

In her remarks, the Minister of Ka :Pmpala, Hon. Minsa Kabanda, expressed gratitude for Dr Enenche’s teaching, noting its relevance and depth.

“I have enjoyed the teaching from Pastor Paul. It was part of us. The summary was about acceptance of responsibility. Being a minister is not a simple issue, you meet different people of faith and tribe. We need your prayers,” she said.

The 2025 International Ministers Flaming Fire Conference has concluded at the Glory Dome, headquarters of Dunamis International Gospel Centre in Abuja, Nigeria.

The week-long event, which ran from August 26 to August 31, drew participants from 71 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Brazil, China, India, South Africa and Ghana.

This year’s theme, “Territorial Dominion,” focused on faith, leadership and spiritual influence.

Renowned international ministers such as Dr Bill Winston, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, Steven Brooks, Chioma Jesus and Michelle Benedek joined the hosts, Dr Paul and Dr Becky Enenche, in leading sessions.

Dr Paul Enenche, speaking during a night vigil, preached on “Financial and Territorial Dominion – The Life of Solomon,” emphasising principles such as love for God, sacrificial giving, gratitude, humility and wisdom.

Dr Bill Winston, in his message “Living From the Inside Out,” stressed the importance of faith, urging believers to exercise authority in Christ. “Don’t let satan give you anything,” he said. “Take it by faith.”

Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, preaching on “One of You is a Devil,” warned against betrayal, disloyalty and opposition within the church. He urged Christians to honour spiritual authority, saying, “There is power where there is honour.”

The conference featured daily morning and evening sessions of teaching, worship, and prayer, climaxing in a night of “Word, Worship and Wonders” on Day Four that filled the 100,000-capacity Glory Dome and its overflow spaces.

A thanksgiving service on August 31 brought the gathering to a close, with prayers for nations, churches and individuals who took part in the 2025 Flaming Fire Conference.

Several renowned international ministers, including Dr. Bill Winston, Steven Brooks, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, Chioma Jesus, Michelle Benedek and others, are ministering alongside the hosts, Dr. Paul and Dr. Mrs. Becky Paul-Enenche.

In his message on Day 4 night vigil, Dr Paul Enenche emphasized on the topic: Financial & Territorial Dominion – THE LIFE OF SOLOMON with the anchor scriptures(s): 1 Kings 3:1-14 while the scriptural references are from:1 Kings 4:24, 1 Kings 9:18-19.

He explained on what ushered Solomon into Financial and Territorial Dominion to include; Love for God (1 Kings 3:3; Matt. 6:33), Walking in the steps of his father, Sacrificial living and giving towards God (1 Kings 3:4), Walking with the heart of gratitude and praise (1 Kings 3:3-14), Walking with the attitude of humility (Jam. 4:6), Passion for Kingdom assignment and access to the wisdom of God (1 Kings 10:24).

Using this as a backdrop to his message, Dr. Enenche prayed and emphasized that, we arrest the spirit of the devil. We command you, GO TO HELL!, I am a city set on a hill, this is my decision, Lord, I call into manifestation that which I am trusting God for; I command it to manifest and satan take your hands off my resources in God; angels move on assignment, and bring into my hands all that is mine in God, in Jesus Name, he declared to a thunderous applause.

Speaking on the 2nd message of the vigil night, Dr Bill Winston taught on the message topic: LIVING FROM THE INSIDE OUT, with the anchor scriptures(s) from: Romans 8:19, 22; Hebrews 5:12-14 and scriptural references from: Romans 8:19, 22, Hebrews 5:12-14, Galatians 4:1 (kjv, amp), Mathew 16:19 (kjv, cev), Job 1:3; 6:24.

Winston said "Until Jesus came we didn’t have all authority, now we have all authority".

Dag Howard Mills said "You must decide that you will never be a devil with Scriptural examples of several times people are referred to as DEVILS: Jesus Christ speaking to Peter, Jesus Christ dealt with the Pharisees as devils, Paul warned Pastor’s wives not to be devils, Paul warned that older women should not be devils.

Dag Howard Mills declared, the works of the devil destroyed in our lives and the work of betrayal, disloyalty and wickedness (1 John 3:. In his opening message, Dr. Paul Enenche emphasized the theme “Territorial Dominion” by drawing from the story of Philip in Samaria.

He explained that Philip entered the city without title, publicity, or human backing, yet the whole city was shaken under divine influence.

“Every entity in Samaria, whether spiritual or physical, was aware that something had shifted because Philip had arrived,” Dr. Enenche said.

“The question is: when last did you enter a place and both heaven and hell recognized your arrival?”

He noted that Philip’s entry into Samaria was not by personal choice but by divine orchestration through persecution.

Using this as a backdrop, Dr. Enenche declared that pressure is often the birthplace of power.

“Every time the devil does his worst, God sets the stage to do His best. Seasons of persecution are seasons of visitation. Fresh battles attract fresh mantles,” he charged, assuring ministers who may feel weary that God releases fresh oil in seasons of resistance.

Outlining the forces behind Philip’s territorial impact, Dr. Enenche identified three keys: the force of the Spirit, the force of the Word, and the force of Power.

He stressed that Philip was directed by the Spirit, carried the Word with authority, and backed it with undeniable power—demonstrated as unclean spirits were cast out, the lame were healed, and the city was filled with joy.

“You don’t need a poster if you carry power. You don’t need a big name if you carry presence. The proof of ministry is not in advertisement, it is in manifestation,” he declared to thunderous applause.

Dr. Enenche concluded with a prophetic declaration: “In your family, there will be joy. In your community, there will be joy. In your territory, there will be joy. God will use you like He used Philip—you will not die small, you will not end weak, you will not finish silent.”

Pastor Korede Komaiya @ 55: Medical Verdict Told Me, I Would Not Live Beyond 35 Years.

The senior pastor and founder of the Master’s Place International Church, Pastor Korede Komaiya has revealed that medical professionals once told him that he would not live beyond the age of 35.

The 54-year-old disclosed this in an Instagram post on Wednesday while sharing photos ahead of his 55th birthday.

“My gratitude knows no bounds. I saw bends that were like ends until God turned things around. I have escaped death over and over again. I was told medically that I wouldn’t live to be 35 years old, and now I’m just a few days away from 55,” he wrote.

He added that his survival is a testimony of divine mercy.

“I am a product of mercy. God always comes through for me, no matter the battle or my mistakes. No hatred, no betrayal, no siege of the wicked, and no assault of the evil ones has been able to stop my destiny,” he said. The cleric also reflected on his work in ministry.

“Today, God has made me a father to orphans, a father to orphans, a succour to widows, an eye to the blind, hope to the hopeless, and light to those in darkness. Only God deserves all the glory. Help me thank God! Gratitude mode activated,” he added.

Pastor Korede Komaiya founded, The Master’s Place International Church in Warri, Delta State, where he pastors alongside his wife, Esther.

The church was established in 2007.

At the flag off ceremony, the Nigerian federal government through the ministry of education has reaffirm it's commitment to bridge in skills gaps in Nigerian educational sector through sustain teachers training infrastructure, investment and public private partnership. This is through the national commission for colleges of education and African forum for innovative teachers who have formally sign a 5year partnership to enhance teachers and students capacity building.

"For the student, the partnership intends to formally endorse NCE 2 & 3 as AFFIT students members with recognized credentials, continuous professional development and inclusive education".

Speaking further, Dr Ogah said "we would still encourage and appeal to the government especially under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to encourage the teachers from what he met, let him do something additional, at least we believe we are under the renew hope agenda and that should reflect in the teaching profession too", he emphasized.

Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo Remarks On Apostle Babalola Clearly Misiterpreted, Misunderstood - Christian Youth Forum

The Concerned Christian Youth Forum (CCYF) has dismissed claims that Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth Zion Assembly (COZA) insulted the late Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola, founder of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC).

In a statement issued in Abuja on Thursday, CCYF convener James Paul Adama said Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo holds apostle Ayo Babalola and his Legacies High and the remarks attributed to him had been taken out of context, misunderstood and misinterpreted completely.

He explained that an investigation by the forum found the COZA pastor’s comments had been “regrettably misunderstood and misinterpreted” on social media.

“The statement was never intended to harm or insult Apostle Babalola or his esteemed family in any way,” Adama said.

The forum described Babalola as a towering figure in Nigerian Christianity whose legacy continues to inspire generations of believers.

According to the CCYF, Fatoyinbo affirmed his deep respect for all church fathers and stressed he would never act in a manner that disrespected their memory.

The pastor has also apologised to Babalola’s family, the CAC, and the wider Christian community for any distress caused by the misunderstanding.

The CCYF warned against attempts to sow division among churches, saying those spreading false information “for sensationalism” would face divine judgement.

Nigerian Supreme Council For Ecclessiatical Affairs(NSCEA) Commends, Recognises Concerned Christian Youth Forum (CCYF).

The Nigerian Supreme Council for Ecclesiastical Affairs (NSCEA) has commended and officially recognised the Concerned Christian Youth Forum (CCYF) as a legitimate and vital force in the defence of the Christian faith.

The recognition was confirmed in an attestation letter signed by NSCEA Secretary, Bishop Professor Funmilayo Adesanya-Davies, dated 25 July 2025.

“It is with great pride that we stand in solidarity with you as you embark on this noble mission to protect our Faith, our Denominations and the future generations of our Christian youths,” the bishop stated.

According to the NSCEA, the decision followed extensive consultations with senior Christian leaders and the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).

The Council noted that the CCYF has demonstrated unwavering commitment to preserving Christian values and fostering unity among the nation’s denominations.

“Let this day mark the dawn of a new era, where the indomitable spirit of our youths is unleashed in service of our common purpose in Christendom,” the statement added.

Speaking about the recognition and attestation, Paul James Adama, Convener of the CCYF, described the recognition as a “momentous milestone” and a testament to the strength and courage of Christian youths across the country.

“This monumental achievement is a reflection of our dedication to defending the Christian faith and protecting our spiritual leaders,” Adama said in a statement of appreciation.

The Concerned Christian Youth Forum (CCYF) has expressed deep concern over the ongoing violence in Benue State, Nigeria, where hundreds have lost their lives in recent attacks.

In a press statement on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, the group urged the youth of Benue State to defend themselves and their ancestral lands, while also calling on political leaders to unite and prioritize the security of their people.

"The systematic extermination of innocent civilians has reached a level that words cannot adequately describe," said James Paul Adama, Convener of CCYF.

"The suffering of the Benue people is a tragic reminder of our collective failure to protect them from those who seek to continue the rain of violence and chaos."

The group extended their deepest condolences to the families of the victims and implored security agencies to intensify efforts to root out perpetrators and bring them to justice.

She urged all relevant stakeholders to take urgent measures to prevent such occurrences in the future.

According to Ambassador Goni, “We call on relevant authorities to intensify efforts to safeguard the welfare of Almajiri children by collaborating with volunteer organizations to ensure such incidents do not happen again".
