Hmm, IMO, the design of the original PS4 still looks better dan d slim. The only tin i worry about is d weight and power consumption. Plus, hope u knw the original PS4 also has a 1tb option.. Damn i really luv dt light strip.. Not an upgrade to me. The Pro is.

Maybe the new design will grow on you . I see i'm not the only one who's going to miss the light strip.

Lol. Thanks for calling me out on that one. The internal differences between the new Ps4 slim and the original PS4 are slim—pun intended, hehe. It's lighter, demands less power and finally offers a 1tb option. It's in the design that you will notice the biggest changes, with the all black matte finish—it's no longer a dust trap, thank God. Plus the light strip is gone—I will kinda miss that. What I wouldn't miss though are those weird buttons for power and eject. Those have been replaced by proper buttons, offering proper feedback. They've also rounded off the entire console, spaced the usb ports, and made the entire thing slightly smaller.

I think what they've done is apply the feedback gained over the past 3 years from the original PS4. So now that we have a Playstation 4S, would moving to that from the original count as an upgrade? I definitely think so.
