Good Afternoon House, Here's my story for Entry Clearance application for a spousal visa (PRIORITY SERVICE)
Submission & Biometrics: 7, February 2019
Documents Shipped to UKVI; 11, February 2019
Response of Receipt of Documents; 18, February 2019
Passport Collection with Approved Vignette; 27, March 2019

Was Quicker than i expected

Lexusgs430:

If you paid for priority, and your application is still pending. It simply means, your application is probably not straightforward.

You can withdraw application if you require passport for an exam............

Good Morning House, the thing is we have met all requirements as per the information from home office website, she is a full time student in the UK. My daughter also lives with her. the cash savings were earned here in Nigeria from Life insurance, and some other legal sources.
i actually applied last year wirhin the UK but i had to withdraw my application when my father's health condition worsened. he eventualy passed away... please advise.....
Lexusgs430:

But you already found one, right?
Travel / Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by OGBORRR: 9:42pm On Jan 13, 2019
i have read the requirement section couple of times, these funds are from my share of inheritance from my late father's estate. i have saved and i have all the evidences to indicate the sources of the money.
justwise:

Ok in that case that amount is more than enough but i haven't see anybody who applied with source of the money coming from outside the UK.

Let this not discourage you, read this link https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/636618/Appendix_FM_1_7_Financial_Requirement_Final.pdf

Read from Calculating the financial requirement section

i mean 65,000.00 pounds
justwise:

That amount is no where close to what you need for spouse visa application, yes your wife need to be the sponsor or both of you.

Let her get a job that pays at least £18,600 a year first to start with.

Good Evening House, Thanks a lot for your very critical information on the spouse visa application platform. I have a couple of questions i would love for an expert to respond to;
I am trying to apply for a spouse visa as my wife s a full time student in the UK, and i am in Nigeria at the moment. I have a savings of close to 65,000.00 in my Nigeria accounts (NAIRA AND DOLLAR ACCOUNT) for a period of more than 6 months. my question is, does my wife need to be my sponsor
