They regarded the Land of Punt to be their land of origin, and the Land of Punt is Ethiopia , Eritrea and Northern Somalia ( Somalis never lived further south).

Hence the exact facial similarities between Somalis and Nubians, because Somalis once lived in that land, along with the other afro-Asiatic peoples.
