Personally ,I will advise you to serch for (GTBank test of wednesday June).That thread has all you need for exams,documentations and interviews of GTBank.I was among the pple that wrote test that period and I took part actively in the thread.Pls follow the that trail patiently and gain more insight.GTBank recruitment is by HIS grace not by ability and knowledge.Above all,PLEASE PRAY LIKE NEVER BEFORE.

The next stage is not really a big deal.that is the documentation stage.you will need to provide your certificates and documents to the bank.you wld be asked to write a short write up on any issue(national or international affecting the country).I will advise you to decide on a topic and read more on it before going.my time ,I wrote on National security.some pple wrote on cashless policy.u will not be assessed by what u ave written,bt by your documents and certificates.Thank you

I will personally advise u based on d experience ave had in workforce exams to lay ur hand on 2007 Gmat.Study d charts and graphs there.If u ave written workforce exam before,try to recall d nature of the exam,dats what will reappear again,they don't really change questions.This is just an advice anyway,I didn't apply for firstbank job.I wrote first bank exam last year though i passed but was lucky to also pass GTB exam,and has chosen the later to the former.wish u d best

its true.if u are unable to meet 65% cumulative in ur training school,u wld go.but bet me,u will make it.start from day one to read fire for fire.u have like 13 tests to write.i did mine in Ph.it was stressful but no one dropped in my class.we all made it.so no cause for alarm,dear.wish u luck.

akanuhora: @Pale: its similar to your first interview. The questions vary, there is no fixed question. Just prepare for normal interview questions, learn about the bank and banking in general.

fagin1982: Ogogambus ...I advice you stick to the black suit and a white Camisole..I use to be in a HR team..Black and white is the standard..Any other colour can follow but at atimes it can be used as an ioption to eliminate someone out

jstringz: @ owenlyn, it isn't acceptable in d corporate world. But most interviewers ignore dat because they knw we are naïve and really don't knw much bt some people get unlucky sometimes wif interviewers like d one I got "devil incanate" who might use dat against u. I just got 2 knw as well. My advice do not use again 2 be on d safe side.

abeg hope black suit with white or orange camisole is acceptable for female.make person no mess up.

jstringz: @ ogogambus I did nt make it O •°˚˚°•. My interviewer (devil incanate) said I wore a black tie which is unacceptable. Said I read engineering bin a smart one @ dat from ma record wil leave GTB when chevron or mobil comes calling. I tried my best 2 convince him bt he wasn't quite satisfied I fink. My colleagues are resuming on monday. Sowie I am nt contributing again jooor. Just wana go past dat part of ma life.

i understand.but were u sent mail to that effect.if actually u didnt make it,gtb will send mail to u and if they didnt,ure still a hopeful.bc i dont want to believe,gtb now reject pple that studied engineering.i knw alot of my friends that made 2:1 in engineering and they are working wit GTB.

jstringz: U guyz should stop disturbing urself wif inbox materials. Just get a GMAT 2007, 2008 or 2012 and study d abstract, verbal (true,false, can't say), and diagramatic reasoning. Wif dat u are gud 2 go. D verbal @ workforce aint like dragnet, itz more of shl and GMat. D questions @ workforce is quite cheap bt time is very limited. Datz where d challenge is.

A gud guy on Nairaland here helped us out wit several test materials few months ago wen we were to write the flour mills ability test. I believe he can be of help if we can search him out.

if uve taken workforce exam before,u will knw that this is actually normal aptitude test exam,which is verbal,numerical reasoning(charts,tables and graph),and abstract.
Normally,successful people after this stage will now write skill test,that one will be basically on what u applied.just like dragnet method for flourmill.therez nofin to worry abt,dragnet and workforce follow the same pattern in numerical and abstract,they only differ in verbal.
Read your gmat charts,tables and graph very well.study ure abstract well.be concious of time,bc time is very very short like in dragnet exam.
For shl material,its pdf file,so d one i have u can only open it with a system.if u are interested just indicate ,but promise God,u will extend to others and also notify me in this thread that uve received it.one love!!!

I advice, while you wait for de job wit Gt, find a job and keep ur self busy. Am working in Lagos Island, i ve pending interview in some coys lik CBN, auto reg, bristow and training in some coys lik diamond and Gt. i read electronics engr. I just passed out this year. Keep ur self busy @oga.... And @ phirmzzy to reduce frustration. I asked just for help and u end up insulting me as if am a desperate job seeker lik u. Companys come for you wen u know ur onus. Ur both are not matured. I just asked a simple question....

i feel the faster the recruitment process of these present people writing test are,the closer our training school is.since its possible that some pple from their set might join us.how many training school dem get sef?from what jstring said about his set,i inferred therez training virtually every month.

congrats guy,am happy,we are still together.lets fold hands and wait for next stage.its possible our own training will be around september.
@freeman,the result comes out in 5 days and not in 5 working days.
