PoliticsRe: The Igbo/yoruba Relationship By Austin Orette (Niger-delta) by Ogulugu: 11:18am On Mar 01, 2011
The title of this write up could have been: The Igbo/South-South Relationship.

When any Igbo word benefits them, South-South claims to be Igbo; and when any word Igbo is in trouble; South-South runs to the Yorubas. If not, Mr. Orette, as articulate as his presentation sounds, could have also considered that, according to one of the Yoruba leaders of the January 15, 1966 coup; Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu (from Niger Delta]) actually wanted to install Awolowo as president, and not Zik or Okpara. Good info, though,

Well, well,

Who is Sunny Ugochukwu? I guess Ribadu is looking for some nameless naive Igbo, just another nobody like Ekwueme?

As for Jonathan and his Ebele + Azikiwe? Yeah, give me a break. He will tell us the real Ijaw meaning of Ebele (which is Junior) as opposed to mercy in Igbo language, immediately after the election. One good thing about the Igbos supporting Jonathan is that the Water people can no longer claim that Igbos never support them. Question: What is Jonathan saying about abandoned property program of his people, where the Igbo properties were confiscated by those lazy sharks?
