I really feel for Tonto. Fame has really messed her life up. |
The news media has been rife with news of Kanye and Kim Kardashian getting divorced, with divorce papers already filed, but all of a sudden, Kim K appears in a wedding gown with Kanye for his "donda" listening party. So what message are they trying to pass across to curious minds? Are they hinting that the divorce was off and they're back together? If that be the case, it would be a rarity among celebrity couples considering the high rate of divorce in the sector. Well the passage of time would surely reveal all things, in the meantime though let's keep our fingers crossed. Have a lovely day.

I had this conversation with some of my neighbors (three men) on which addiction was hardest to quit of womanizing, drinking and smoking. My view was that it was womanizing, but they saw things differently from me and said it was smoking. They said it was easy to quit womanizing once the time for quitting comes, but the addiction to smoking was something else. I had never smoked a cigarette or the likes before so I couldn't tell how difficult if was to quit, but I had a friend who was once a chain smoker, but once he repented and surrendered his life to God, that was it. The urge died instantly! It was so weird that a friend of his who knew him very well, said if my friend could quit smoking, that he also could quit the habit, because he knew how deep my friend had gone into it, that he himself was like a learner in the act. That was perhaps what gave me the impression that it may not be that hard to quit the habit but my neighbors begged to differ. I expect that there are others who may see things differently from us, because I know and have had of people who drink to the point that they become seriously ill but are still not able to quit. Some others it's addiction to sex or masturbation that has made them to become depressed to the point of wanting to commit suicide, because they find it impossible to quit even if they know it's destroying their lives. Hard drugs is another strong one which has held many in serious bondage, as some go to extreme lengths to pacify the urge. One married woman started paying for it with her body, by having sex with the supplier, after she had wasted all her life savings on it and no longer had money to pay for it. Hence it appears that it differs from person to person, as an addiction someone finds hard to quit might be easy for someone else, and vice versa, but what do you think it? May God help us all.

DavidEsq:Forgive me but you sound like a fault finder that doesn't preach the Gospel himself but would just be trying to find faults in those who were truly doing so. Why not show me where I preached about valentine here? What you've either forgotten or are ignorant of, is that, the teachings of Jesus is the gospel of the Kingdom which we are meant to teach or preach to men, as Jesus asked His disciples to teach men to observe to do His teachings, and that which I quoted to you was exactly that. You should learn not to allow sentiments to becloud your judgment because it's only that which could make you begin to assume that because someone who doesn't celebrate Valentine's day, mentioned Valentine's day before preaching the gospel of the Kingdom of God which teaches us to love God means that he preached about Valentine's day. Perhaps what you don't even know is that Sunday itself is being seen by some as a pagan sun-worship day, so that should also mean that someone who preaches about loving God on a sunday means he's preaching about the pagan sun-worship. Your choice though to make of it whatever you choose. I have already used the opportunity to preach about loving God in accordance with the gospel of the Kingdom and I know God would have no issues with that. Cheers. |
DavidEsq:Could you kindly explain how encouraging people to love God with this post in consonance with the scripture I provided could be misleading to gullible ones as you claim? |
DavidEsq:This is about loving God! Matt 22:37 |
DavidEsq:God said we should preach His Gospel to the world, and today which is viewed by the world as Valentine's day offers another opportunity to do so. Thanks. |
DavidEsq:Okay forget about valentine and focus on God. What's your best love song for God? |
Here another of my favorite love songs of all time by the group called BoyzToMen titled, "Dear God". Dear God, it's me again I am so far from where I could have been Dear God, I would be incomplete But you came and touched my life in time of need So I'm thanking you for all you've done And for sacrificing your only son. That's why I'm writing you this letter To let you know that I love you Thank you for all that I am And for being a friend Lord, my love for you will never end Dear God, it's Shawn this time I'm so grateful for the way you've changed my life I'd give all I have, I'd just throw it all away For a chance to walk with you through Heaven's gates That's why I'm thanking you for your love and your grace I don't deserve these blessings (no, no) that you give me That's why I'm writing you this letter To let you know that I love you Thank you for all that I am And for being a friend Lord, my love for you will never end Dear God, as a humble man I come to you like a child Needing your knowledge, your love, and your guidance, Lord Thank you for trusting me with my own life's decisions, God. But I'm just a man, and I don't deserve this incredible life that you've given me, Jesus. I love you, Lord, I love you Dear God, it's me Wanya I'm so sorry, so sorry for living for me But I promise from this day on I'm livin' for you 'Cause without you my life means nothing That's why I'm writing you this letter To let you know that I love you Thank you for all that I am And for being a friend Lord, my love for you will never end |
I have many songs which I use to express my love for God but let me just share this one titled, "Love you so much" by Hillsong which has inspired me so much. Considering how difficult it was to get admission into the University, one would think that once that happened, someone's problems would be over, however that often turns out to be the beginning of an entirely different problem which wouldn't be solved until one had successfully graduated from the University. Then after the celebration of graduation was over, the reality soon sets in about how all that effort, time and resources, etc being invested into getting a University degree was basically to make one able to get a good job. A few graduates are lucky enough to get a job immediately afterwards, but most have to wait. And the time of waiting differs from individual to individual. Some have to wait for months, some up to a year, others have wait to for up five years and even more. So what category do you fall into? He long did you have to wait before you got a job after graduation? Share your experiences here so others could learn a thing or two to help them prepare for life after graduation. Cheers. |
