Any location to get?
Hi forFavour,

Price: 500Naira - quite inexpensive
Get Copies @:
1)Reddington Hospital, 12 Idowu Martins Str, VI, Lagos
2)Citizen Medical Center, 86 Norman Williams Str, S/W Ikoyi, Lagos
3)Kupa Medical Center, 4 Lateef Salami Str, Off Int'l Airport Rd, Ajao Estate, Lagos
4)Nile Bookshop, 26 Micheal Adekoya Str, ilupeju, Lagos
5)Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria(Central Medical Library compound) opp. Yaba B/stop.

Did Dangote actually say this?
If yes, then it changes my whole view about a seemingly humble young man.
If no, why the beef?

I got to see this book and wow it is a handy book for any pregnant/expectant/new mothers.
It is a very simple book that has as many details as one would need at these stages of ones life.
The author is ALICE OLUBAJO. I think you can get the book from leading bookstores or better still you could call
this number: 08033909714 to order your copy.
It is really a nice book. Get yours today. It may come handy when you really need it.

Religion / Re: What Are the 'Spirit/s Of Poverty'? by oIo(m): 12:26am On Jul 06, 2007
michelin89:

The only poor thing we have in Africa is our brain. We don't use it and if we do, it's always for the worst!
I don't believe we have poor brains. I think we don't channel our rich brains to the right use. We don't challenge our brains enough. We don't think and we don't read!! Although this is not totally any fault of ours. Our educational systems, beliefs, environment and even family have a share of the blame too.
If some basics(e.g. sound education, light, water, good housing and good governance) are provided, then more than 25% of our brains will be channeled to innovative business solutions to problems that'll provide income enough to "bind" every spirit of poverty.
Religion / Re: What Are the 'Spirit/s Of Poverty'? by oIo(m): 11:25pm On Jul 05, 2007
Yes there are spirits of poverty!!
", and the fruits of these spirits are hatred, corruption, bad leadership, laziness, lack of vision, and ultimately lack of knowledge, against which there are no riches"

Career / Re: Free Materials For CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, BCP, DRP, and CBCP Exams? by oIo(m): 12:32am On Jun 30, 2007
@Topic:
What is all this craze about certifications? I think most of you have missed the whole point.
If some of you search deep down, you'll find out that you are probably doing this for a salary raise or for the prospects of a better job or for international opportunitiesmy foot.
In most cases, the bottom line is the MONEY!!!
Why don't you just get into a business like  CF and earn loads of cash instead of deceiving yourselves on the opportunities these certs may bring.
If you are really doing these certs because of your passion for their respective fields/profession, then you'll know that it is wrong to share some of these materials(pirated,photocopied,etc.)-it is against the ethics of the very ideals in which these certs were founded [CISSP and CISA/CISM for instance].
These certs are definitely good , but your motives is what matters most.
My advice: For those who have a passion for these fields, check out the official sites for these certs [e.g www.isaca.org and www.isc2.org].
For those who just need money, then join CF and earn $6000 as many times as possible. Mail me on oiogrand@yahoo.ca with the subject CLUBFREEDOM ENQUIRIES. I'd be glad to share with you so that this thread can breathe again.
Cheers all.
