Which date were you given? Congratulations. I heard you need to get a Letter headed declaration of age from the high court

I just got AD for July 1st but I don’t have any admission letter, I haven’t applied to any. I don’t have a blocked account. Is it possible to get admission and meet all necessary requirements before 1st of July.

For public universities you might not be able to get admission within one month.
Apply to public universities for winter semester that is still open. You can reschedule to September. Chose a date between Tuesday and Thursday.

Germany is not UK that is fast in giving admission fast and one thing you need to understand about Germany process is patience and determination with focus. If you’re applying this year don’t expect to leave this year.

September is fine because you must gotten winter semester admission. I know someone who even rescheduled for October 2025, and he has gotten admission with university of Siegen.

My application for admission in Germany via Uni-assist changed from in evaluation to in progress. Please it mean they stopped evaluating my application? Is there anything I'm expected to do

The final should show okay . But hold on if any documents is missing the will notify you.

So people are expected to get an admission, pay for enrollment/semester fee for like 3 semesters (approximately £1k) while waiting for more than 18months in the wait list?

You can pay your enrolment fee and defer your admission. If the school allow you to defer without enrolment good. Just secure your admission ahead of AD, once your AD is given, write to your school.

You can only wait. No one has been called to book an appointment from the new portal booking. They have to finish the old booking first, and they're currently at July 2024

On the new application platform there’s nothing like Category A or B. If you are following this thread well, you have gotten this information since.

Please,last week we didn't get update about appointment dates. This week,it seems to be the same. I don't want to believe the Embassy didn't issue out dates.

Let me start by appreciating everyone who keeps this thread going and respond to questions,share their experiences, air out their own opinion and suggestions willingly even when they have the RIGHT to keep it to themselves. Thats the only thing that motivates others here not to give up or make mistakes. Please lets help each other,some persons will get dates but refuse to share here(no disrespect though). We understand that some persons want to keep it private,but we literally dont know ourselves here and nobody is taking your date from you. Everyone here is pursuing the same thing,we just have to help each other to keep this thread running. Some persons will go to the consulate for appointment and get their visas but refuse to share how it went so others can learn and adjust. The goal here is for everyone to succeed. I feel sad when i hear that people go to the consulate and encounter one challenge or the other,maybe as a result of lack of information et al.
Lets understand that the waiting time alone is frustrating and no one wants to make that mistake of missing out after finally getting an appointment because they were misinformed or not informed(No body is an island of knowledge,we learn everyday).

Finally, for those waiting. Lets try to always get adequate information before going to the Embassy on where you might be having doubts,its better to ask and get clarity from others.

Well said bro, thanks for the encouragement. We need to continue sharing our experiences so people can learn and prepare ahead to avoid impromptu arrangement. I believe before middle of this year the embassy must have gone far in given out AD. Recently, Visa has been approved within one week after interview not because the guy provided all required documents but God Grace him. I would advise always go with complete documents and insurance as well. @Hannania thank you for wonderful contributions and advice you have been rendering and plenty questions you answer everyday. It will end in praise for everyone waiting for AL, AD, AM, BL Confirmation and SL . If you go with complete documents including insurance it will be Good news for you at the end. Try and answer your questions correctly as well during interviews.

For those waiting for AD, Jan 5th just got this morning. The pace is crazily fast now.

This is a welcome development. Please i am using SL for my interview and is a private university since I’m yet to get public university due to the short notice and how the date came without admission letter so i rushed to get private university first. Please if the ask me about how to pay my tuition for one year, should I tell them about my bank statement or other person like my parents? Some persons with old admission letter did interview recently and a Nairaland chart me up that she asked them questions about the interview, the asked about Extension of admission before they can proceed with their interview. That there documents is incomplete but in her case her school send her a letter stating she is their student and she has paid her enrolment fee but she’s scared is old admission letter. She is asking if she should get new admission letter of which de school insists de can’t give her new one
