Lol Nigerian men still possess the mentality of men from the 1930s They still want to control these 21st century women They still want to save society For goodness sake,Nigerian men, make una open una eyes and leave these 21st century women to roam free!! Leave them to do whatever they want to do! All you owe yourself is to take steps to avoid the shrapnel from hitting you when the bomb goes off |

The man looks like a goof-ball If a man is willing to play father christmas for a woman (like many Nigerian men are ready to) why should she not use him? My favourite story of this sort of situation was when a man told me he paid for the university fees of some lady he wanted to marry (for four years) and she and her mother rejected his marriage proposal after she graduated.Their reason was he had tribal marks on his face |

ValeeLove: we're saying the same thing you just dont realise it yet. The fact that you said Omos had no skill and that tanked him is just my point. "Skill" is all that matters. You don't need to be chiseled to succeed in pro-wrestling. Can you wrestle, can you act? Those are it. AJ? AJ isn't even the champion. Usyk looks like somebody's grandfather.
It may shock you how I feel about wrestling, but the crew here know I'm all about the 'crazy' wrestling theories. Still haven't been proven wrong though. Alright,i will leave it at that. Another wrestler that had "The Look" in the mid 1990s at WWE was Lex Luger but he had little in-ring skills and that led to him fizzling out |

CoolUsername: 1. Nia Jax is not bottom of the barrel. If you look at her pics from when she was younger and slimmer, she solos a lot of the roster.
2. Nia Jax hurt a lot of beloved wrestlers within a relatively short period. Jade Cargill might be bad but she hasn't hurt anyone.
3. Jade Cargill gets an insane amount of backlash, despite never hurting anybody. So much so that I was comparing the backlash she and Nia Jax got to what Kairi Sane got after the matches where Zoey Stark and Liv Morgan got injured. Like i said,if Nia Jax arrives in Nigeria today and no one knows who she is and she does not utter a word, she would have to get a stick inorder to be beating men back.Nia Jax in some circles, would be considered a baddie in Naija but in western nations?NO!!! I vividly remember scouring through wrestling forums during the pandemic (2020--2021) and reading seething criticisms of Jax back then even before she hurt any other performer.Criticisms i just haven't seen levelled towards Jade Cargill despite Jade being worse in the ring than Jax. |

ValeeLove: i disagree. Looks are irrelevant. If you have it or not isn't a factor - that's my point. The peeps you've mentioned with my names have 1 thing in common, and that's performance ability. Hence guys like Goldberg, Warrior, Khali, Gonzalez, Sid, Omos, are heavily criticized and to some extent unsuccessful. It's why Jade is heavily criticized regardless of where she works. We've got successful boxers and MMA fighters without good looks. Nuff said. Gooldberg had "the look" in his WCW era and was terrific in squash matches. When he got to WWE when they acquired WCW and they put him in 9minute matches,he got boring real quick. The Great Khalil was just awful...awful to stare at....awful in the ring. Warrior had an incredible look and was incredibly charismatic. His in-ring skills were terrible but his charisma was able to compensate for his weakness especially for that era of wrestling. Omos in WWE was a slug to watch. He had "the look" (Giant monster) but had no mic & in-ring skills & that tanked him. How can you say looks don't matter in other sports when the majority of folks on planet earth believe Anthony Joshua is the best boxer alive.Did you not see how women reacted towards him a few months ago, when he fought one of those Paul brothers? |

On a more serious note, I would say this particular wrestling thread is more focused wrestling. Lol Lookswise, from a Nigerian perspective she is not bad at all but from a western view?!She is close to bottom of the barrel.I remember when she was always botching her moveset (before she was released in 2021) and the harsh criticisms she would receive from wrestling fans online.Have you noticed how Jade Cargill receives less backĺash from those same fans eventhough she is clearly a worse wrestler than Jax? |

ValeeLove: Dusty, Big Show, Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, Eddie Kingston; are all names that aren't impressively looking but all successful. One question matters - "can you perform?"; that's all. You should have added Kevin Owens to your list. The Ultimate Warrior,Rick Rude,Diesel,Razor Ramon,Shawn Michaels,The Rock,Tripple H,Jeff Hardy,Edge,Randy Orton,Cena,Roman Reigns. The industry is extremely "look-centric".The more of "The Look" you possess, the more oppotunities are handed to you.A Shawn Michaels was always going to be given more time to shine than a Mankind/Mick Foley |

ValeeLove: To make noise online no dey hard her, but to actually know how to wrestle, zero. To talk on the mic, another problem. May you not employ a 'Jade Gargill' in your organisation I blame Rhea small. Engaging this one puts you in the same level as her, I don't even think Queen would stoop that low. She no even Sabi do work-shoot online banter. Talking about creative keeping Rhea on top. Lol You post as if you dont know the "ins" and "outs" of this industry. Sometimes, all you need is "The Look" to get far and ahead.Jade Cargill has that look in yards and spades |

Sports › Re: Why Man United Did Not Sign Osimhen — Benni Mccarthy by Ojagun(m): 5:05pm On Feb 27 |
Kalulu44: Lolz! It's you I should be laughing at. If he comes and he flops, who's to blame, him or the press. To whom much is giving much is expected. If he comes, he should keep them quiet with his performance. But my initial take on his lost is about his image which would have been huge by just wearing that United shirt. Let me give you an example. Are you still hearing the names of Garnacho, Sancho and Rashford loudly like when they were still in United. Garnacho and Sancho has totally gone quiet while Rashford is still help a little bcus of Barca but not still as pronounced as when he was in United. That's the power and popularity of Man United. Right from when Osimhen was about to win the Italian league with Napoli and there were murmurs about him moving to England, fans from the top teams in that country have always had negative vibes towards Osimhen because they knew he would cost alot of money and his wages would be high. Those fans (they were many and still are) simply did not want such huge sums to be spent on Osimhen. Personally,i believe Osimhen has moved on from that whole situation but Nigerian fans of those English clubs especially haven't.Osimhen is earning millions (over 21 million euros after tax a season),he controls his image rights,he is adored by his club's fanbase and despite playing in a league that is not popular, still manages to remain relevant in world football discourse. The world of club football does not begin & end with English club sides |
Sports › Re: Why Man United Did Not Sign Osimhen — Benni Mccarthy by Ojagun(m): 3:34pm On Feb 27 |
Kalulu44: Who and who is talking about him, McCarthy has now turn they, no doubt Osimhen may have done something huge we can't say. But the biggest lost goes to Osimhen cus Man United would have propel his name higher than it's now Lol You clearly dont know the English.Osimhen not playing in England is a blessing in disguise. If he were to be playing at Man U for example this season and earning over 300k as wages,if he were to have 3 chances in a game and miss 2,the English would moan and moan and moan and moan about Osimhen scamming English clubs until they would pursue him out of their league |

frog12: na damage control explanation. dem no wan pay african black big wages
osimhen goal say gala from elimination by juventus despite selfish players. gala was very poor. Lol Someone finally said it The clubs in England, simply did not want to pay Osimhen the large wages he believed he deserved. So they all shut him out. The End Forget all these false narratives about Afcon, his "bad" attitude (Diego Costa at Athletico anyone? Yet Chelsea still signed him) his first touch is bad,he misses chances etc. It all boils down to the large wages issue. English clubs all said "Mbanu!" |

Miggs: Nothing like UFOs or aliens from outer space.
They are just myths.
All the reports of sightings of unidentified flying objects in the sky since the 1940s especially in the U.S are official U.S Govt weapons and aircrafts tests the U.S Govt did not want the general public to know anything about.Infact, sometimes, the U.S would intentionally spread misinformation about "unknown" flying space crafts inorder to confuse the U.S public.
