KobolanderSegun: As usual you have missed the point the fact that Africans cannot defend themselves is Bananas. That Africa is so Weak Military wise is Bananas. That Africa has never learnt from the pain and suffering of slavery and colonial rule is Bananas. I perfectly understood your previous post Sir. You stated "This is why people think Africans live in trees and eat bananas" I then asked why you care so much about why those "other people" think Africans live in trees and eat bananas. The End. As for your new post,is Africa the only continent on earth experiencing security & economic challenges?Aren't you aware of the powerful foreign forces that desire what Africa possesses? Dont you know the centuries of work those forces have put into that endeavour and the damage they have caused?Do you seriously believe it can all be undone in 60-70years? Abeg, tone down on the disgusting self-loathing not all of us subscribe to your defeatist mindset. |

KobolanderSegun: So sad. That's what happens when African leaders prioritize Private Jets and owning Housing Estates over teaching their own people how to make ammunition for the collective security of the people. No wonder some people think we live in trees and eat bananas Those "other people" go around the world committing worse atrocities than you blacks can ever come up with and they dont care about what you lot or "other people" think of them So why do so many of you black people care so much about what those "other people" think of you? |

Putindbutt: If he had served one, what happened to the other two?. Why must FIFA put his ban on probationary?, something that has never happened before in football, that's a fraud check. Nobody is afraid of Ronaldo, he has been at four World cups and nothing happened, so nobody is afraid of him. This is the problem with you people, you support criminality if it happens to favour the people you like but you cry foul if it was the opposite. Otamendi and Caicedo are going into the World Cup serving ban, why were they also not pampered?. I completely agree with every sentence in this post but capitalism is the one true God especially in the West.No one wants to specifically watch world cup matches for otamendi or caicedo but they do for Cristiano |

Kipaji: Brutal but true. Besides the millionaires and the billionaires of the world there plenty of men who worked just as hard, just as smart, and even more, without reaching financial success. And the frustrations from these failures despite years of hard work and doing all the "right" and "smart" things to succeed is amplified by society that'll tell you that you are poor because you didn't work hard enough, because you didn't work smart, or because you were lazy The life of a man is a life full of frustrations. It's all about mitigating and canalizing these frustrations. What you just described @emboldened is a feature of "Late-Stage Capitalism" It has become a worldwide issue |

Explain to me why he would allow a foreign country's military to enter his country to take care of a domestic problem? .... an old problem that while he was President found a solution in contracting foreign mercenaries who were very effective in rooting out the terrorists? Is he suffering from dementia? The US has 0% success rate in rooting out terrorists ... 20 years in Afghanistan the prime example of how terrible they are ... and have made everywhere they intervened worse. Do they ever leave when they intervene? GEJ fall my hand.... he will be a sell out. Lol Peter Obi is a nothing-burger. He represents nothing,is for nothing.Just there Mr Looksy-Do |

Litmus: If Trump cared even one iota about those supposedly being killed in Northern Nigeria, he would have communicated his concerns to the Nigerian government in terms of what he could do to assist—not by pointing fingers and talking down to Nigeria in a way that signals to the entire world that he is proudly embracing the racist trope of colonial paternalism. That ought to outrage any reasonably aware black person. Instead, shamefully, many Africans responded in the very manner that generations of emancipation and anti-racism movements fought to deny our ancestors ever behaved, which was behaved childishly because they had the accumen of children. Here Nigerians are Calling and begging America to “rescue” us and “teach our leaders a lesson.”
When I’ve argued in the past that one of Africa’s main obstacles to development is the psychological ownership of African youths by the West this reaction to Trump is a perfect example.
African youths are not citizens of Africa; they are citizens of the West trapped in Africa—awaiting signals from the West on when to attack, protest, or destroy whatever the West wants destroyed I agree with every point made in your post especially the emboldened but we have to admit that African youths especially the Nigerian ones are victims of an intentional "organized abandonment" systematically carried out by older generations (from education to religion) inorder to dissuade the youth from thinking critically about issues that affect them so that those in power (the elders) will not be challenged by the youth on their abhorrent actions. |
