PoliticsRe: Like Atiku, Like Peter Obi – The Gospel Of Political Portability by Ojoroyal: 11:47am On Jul 09, 2025
SmartEnergyng:
Birds of the same feather don’t just flock together — they defect together.
In the Nigerian political zoo, Atiku Abubakar was long regarded as the undisputed king of party-hopping.
From PDP to ACN, back to PDP, then to APC, and now ADC — the man has changed parties more times than Nigeria has changed fuel prices.

And now? Peter Obi, the self-anointed “different one,” is proving to be just another Atiku in minimalist branding.
Let’s break it down.
🧾 Peter Obi’s Party Timeline:
2003–2014: Governor of Anambra under APGA

2014: Defected to PDP

2019: Became Atiku’s VP candidate under PDP

2022: Jumped ship again, landing in Labour Party

2024/25: Cozying up to the same “mega coalition” that includes the same old recycled elites.ADC

So what makes Obi different?
Is it the softer voice? The quieter deceit? The frequent market visits with camera crews?

Atiku has long preached the gospel of “anywhere the wind blows”. But Obi has now added “with a touch of piety.” They are both pilgrims on a restless quest for power — not principles. One with a loud convoy, the other with a camera-ready backpack.

They wear different robes but serve at the same altar: the Church of Political Prostitution.

Both men have no qualms about romancing the very systems they once blamed. Today’s opponent is tomorrow’s running mate. Today’s evil is tomorrow’s alliance.
So let’s stop pretending.
Peter Obi is no different from Atiku — just better at curating his hypocrisy.
They are twin sons of opportunism, proof that in Nigerian politics, the more things change, the more the defectors remain the same.
Peter Obi and Atiku: Same Game, Different Packaging

Birds of the same feather don’t just flock together — for Naija politicians, they defect together.

For years, Atiku Abubakar wore the crown as the king of party-hopping. PDP to ACN to PDP to APC and back to PDP... now even eyeing ADC. The man changes political parties faster than Nigeria changes fuel prices.

But guess who’s quietly joining the club? Mr. “I’m different” himself — Peter Obi.

Let’s not pretend. The timeline speaks for itself:

📌 2003–2014: Governor under APGA
📌 2014: Defected to PDP
📌 2019: Atiku’s running mate
📌 2022: Jumped to Labour Party
📌 2024/25: Now flirting with “mega coalition” moves with ADC and the same old recycled politicians he once attacked.

So what exactly makes Obi different?
The quieter voice? The holy look? The market runs with camera crews? 🤔

Truth is, both Atiku and Obi are career politicians. One is loud with his moves, the other is more polished with his packaging. But same goal: power over principle.

Today’s enemy is tomorrow’s ally. One minute it’s “they destroyed Nigeria,” next minute it’s “we’re building a coalition.”

Peter Obi is not a political saint. He’s just Atiku in tech bro branding. Different robes, same altar — The Church of Political Prostitution.

So let’s stop forming.
Na the same people, just different fonts.
PoliticsRe: Why I Postponed My Resumption- Senator Natasha by Ojoroyal: 11:36am On Jul 09, 2025
Zackattack:
Senator Natasha messed up by trying to use blackmail to have her way. That’s the only thing she did that was out of line, which you failed to mention in your epistle.
Don’t personalize this. Senator Akpabio may be innocent of the accusations, but he’s still everything that a senate president shouldn’t be. This senate house is still the worse.
Well said! The Senate is not a campaign rally or a personal brand-building stage—it’s a place for serious national work. Senator Natasha needs to realize that viral photo-ops and emotional soundbites don’t translate into legislative impact. Nigerians are tired of theatrics; we want results. If she truly cares about representation, she should start by acting like a lawmaker, not a loud activist with a title. Enough drama—time to get to work or step aside

PCNGI just likes to hop from one PR ceremony to another and quote fake numbers instead up of working on the problem.

Gas from Ajaokuta’s mother station rarely flows consistently.
Logistics bottlenecks, a limited number of trailers, and pipeline inefficiencies have turned Abuja’s daughter stations into decorated tombs of potential.
Honestly...... but why is PCNGI so incompetent? Who is the chairman of their board? Who are they accountable to?
