To start with, what is the percentage of igbos in the force compared to civilians residing in the North for purpose of earning a living?? The influx of igbos into the northern part of Nigeria dates retrospectively as far back as the early 1900's, spare me the paramilitary bullshit. For instance the Northern and southern parts of Nigeria which was amalgamated as far back as 1914 didn't see the Royal Nigeria constabulary and Nigeria coast constabulary merged until in 1930, and even when it did it had it's headquarters in lagos.. it was not until 1960's when these forces were first regionalized and then Nationalized. Igbos still brandish this concorted tale of homicide attacks in parts of the North today which they claim happened in the 1930's. What were they doing in the North then when the paramilitary forces we had were only associated with local government and had not being nationalized? When was the Nigerian police academy established? The Nigerian defense academy? Keep ur lies to yourself.
Igbos have never been relevant in the scheme of things in Nigeria. It has always been a tradition for the nomadic igbos to convey their overbearing population to economically viable places.
