Career / Re: Graduating With A Second Class Lower by Ojurere(m): 7:50am On Jun 12, 2007
Well i think our government have not helped graduates with second class lower division, even when applying for government jobs at time you are required to have minimum of a second class upper division. Most times you realize that a student of second class upper is not even better off than that of a second class lower.

I happen to be a victim of such and i knew how i felt when all my mates graduated with a second class upper. I had 3.44 while to graduate with second class upper you must make 3.5 the difference was (0.6).

I realized that life is not about the results but about what we make out of it. I have been able to look beyond the results and move forward with my working career. I want you all to know that "there is hope for a tree that is cut down" as long as the roots are in place.

Drop the idea of looking at the past and face your tomorrow with every confidence that you would make it. I would also like you all to know that you can apply for the same job a second class upper graduate is applying for. If you out perform the other you are most guaranteed the job.

My last word of advise is "Winners Don't Quit and Quitters Don't Win", Winning is a thing of the Mind.
