efemena5050: They will claim they will never be a party of evil delibrations since their hands are clean They are very daft and don't understand politics. Politics is a game of sense. There is a way you will persuade the Chairman and the IGP and they will be begging you to hold on, they want to supply documents. The idiot was shouting like a hawker. |

DMerciful: You have no point. Ironsi and Nzeogwu acted on their own.
You see how hypocritical you are?
Anytime we talk of Biafra restoration, you'll say we should ask our elected officials in national assembly to move a motion for it. But you want to hold us accountable for actions of unelected people who died long before we were born Yes, you will be held accountable for the foolishness of your ancestors. After all, the name Biafra you are talking about today was brought up by your ancestors, not you. You agitation for secession will be treated just how you treated Midwest people who were agitating for secession. |

JuanDeDios: I'm a fan of Sanwo-Olu precisely because of these trains. If the runs for a third term, I'd vote for him. But you can't conclude that Chinedu won't have continued the project and maybe even do a better job. Chinedu has never done anything useful in his life. Show us projects that he has done. |
Politics › Re: Who Foiled The January 15, 1966 Coup? by OkayDaddy: 8:43am On Jan 17, 2025 |
DMerciful: So Biafra agitation started today? Started when you tried to suppress other Nigerians by killing their leaders and installing your kinsman and you failed. There was no Biafra mentioned until the counter coup that removed Ironsi. Ogundipe was smart enough to decline and Gowon took over. That's when you saw that your plans were scattered and you wanted to run away as cowards. |

DMerciful: Talk like an educated person. Whose mandate does Ironsi have? Who voted for him? Who voted for Nzeogwu? The people who Northerners, Mid-westerners and Westerners voted for, Nzeogwu killed them and Ironsi protected Nzeogwu and in fact, gave him succour in Igboland. You are here asking foolish questions. You people are hypocrites and karma is showing you shege. |

erniok: That's the essence if walk ours in politics. Very strong objections to political shenanigans that you opposed. Baba, no walk out o. Na to scatter everything. If that guy had told the IG that a trap has been set for him and he was walking into a trap and what he's raising is to protect the IGP from those who want to ruin him, I bet you, the IGP would have made the docs available. But no, zero sense. Only shouting like a tout, walking out like a coward. You can be right and still be stupid. You can be wrong and be wise. |

DMerciful: The country is not working for anybody.
We can dissolve this union to save lives Nnamdi Kanu campaigned for Jonathan, you didn't know it wasn't working then. You campaigned for Peter Obi, you didn't know it wasn't working then. Now that you've lost out, you want secession. The same secession you denied Midwest people of. |
Politics › Re: Who Foiled The January 15, 1966 Coup? by OkayDaddy: 8:33am On Jan 17, 2025 |
DMerciful: Because Ironsi is Igbos means he has Igbos mandate? Did anybody voted for Ironsi? No, it is Fulani and Ibibio mandate he has. You killed elected leaders from other regions, spared your own leaders and then, refused to punish those who killed leaders from other regions. You're asking if he has mandate. You see ehn, you people from that your side are shameless people. The more you talk about this, the more your folly and hypocrisy becomes apparent. |

mrvitalis: I don't and defend ironsi.. But he was killed in a coup too should that not be the end? End of what? Okay, if it was the end, why should Ojukwu declare secession, the very same thing he killed Midwest people for when Adaka Boro declared secession? |
Politics › Re: Who Foiled The January 15, 1966 Coup? by OkayDaddy: 8:28am On Jan 17, 2025 |
DMerciful: You keep getting stuck in the past See this hypocrite. If secession is past, why are you crying for it today? You can kill SS people because you were in a position of power but you now want them to support your quest for the very same thing you killed them for. Una no get shame for that your side. |

mrvitalis: So you know the aim of the coup?
What was operation wetie n it's relationship to the coup sir DMerciful: . Saying its an Igbo coup holds the entire Igbos responsible. This would have been the case if they were voted for and given mandate. Why did Ironsi, an Igbo man move the Igbo Coup splitters to Imo in the Eastern Region and refuse to try them for 6 good months? |
Politics › Re: Who Foiled The January 15, 1966 Coup? by OkayDaddy: 8:19am On Jan 17, 2025 |
DMerciful: The coup cannot be undone but this unworkable union can be undone.
Lets push for this! When the Midwest minorities pushed for Secession, Igbos in the Eastern Regional government led by that cowardly Ojukwu killed them and quelled their agitation. |

Stay, let it be on record that the documents didn't tally and then let them pass it. Later on, they will call you to the side and implement your ideas because they know you are watching them. Now, a Senator threatened to walk out and Legislators in the Lower House called his bluff and told him to go to hell. |

erniok: Staging a walk out is the best thing to do when outnumbered by idiots who believe so much in stomach infrastructure. Maitunbi: How else would he have protested, by flogging the chairman? The lacking unity of purpose is the problem. If enough other members would have shown support by walking out too, then those who stayed put would not have enough number to pass whatever is on ground. But as you can see, even the akwa ibom guy that raised the matter originally did not even walk out with him. That's the problem. Once you start a Sitting, attendance is taken and quorum formed. If you walk out, you're shortchanging yourself. This thing happened when the motion for Nigeria's independence was debated. Some people walked out because the North wasn't ready. Those tho remain will pass the Resolutions on your behalf. That's why you sometimes see alterations in Legislative Houses. If you walk out, you're the loser. |

ppogba: So, GTB just picked on them out of the whole registered companies in Nigeria.?
Why not add that they do not even have an account with the bank? Innoson didn't get a penny in judgement debt. He also didn't get a penny out of what he claimed was overpaid. To add insult upon injury, since that time, no bank has given him loan. That's why while other carmakers are coming up through financing, he's slowing down. Broke noisemakers who foolishly supported him can't give him shishi and can't afford to buy his cars. |

Melagros: COMRADES, honestly, I will reserve my comment since the matter is before the court, I will neither fault FBN nor will I fault GHL in this case. If GHL truly defaulted the loan facility, the company wouldn't have approached the court for a redress I remember what had happened between GTB and Innoson Motors, when GTB released her own side of the story, we all blamed Innoson, but funnily, we got disappointed when the court finally delivered her judgement on the matter . Innoson Motors won the case, and I think, the court fined GTB and also compensated Innoson It's too early to jump into conclusions Innoson didn't get a penny from GTB. Go to Nnewi and ask him. |
