Bro, this is marriage it's not about the doctrine. It all depends on how u run your family, may be you have never asked about her salary and that's why she used it thinking u would not have need to ask about it as usual.
To my own understanding offering to God is always a personal thing, if you re giving offering to God your left hand should not know what u are giving to him that was what we were taught in catechism classes. But as I earlier stated it all depends on weda u do ask about her salary before now or not.
