You know how many ekenefilichukwu, youngshallgrow, peace motors have 'shipped' hundreds of zoo-chantining minions to lagos/sw Last night alone??

They want their country but daybyday they are investing their time, money and energy in their (perceived) enemies' land.

Please, Make it make sense.

Romance / Re: 19 Years Old. Should I Stop Supporting Her? by okoroemeka(m): 6:15am On Apr 01
jasent:
Good evening people. Please be the judge and let me know if I'm being wicked

In the compound where I live in Ghana, there's this 19 old girl. Infact,I got to know her when she was 14,she was respectful so I kept her as my friend. When she turned 18,I had interest in her but I was afraid of her rejecting my proposal and I didn't want to lose the respect she has for me. Fast forward to January 2023,I bought a new car. And then she repeatedly begged that I start teaching her how to drive.

I was afraid of what the father would say if he finds out that I'm taking her out for driving lessons, but reluctantly I took her out for learning like twice. So around March she went to school in another region. They don't allow them to go to school with phones,so when in school she becomes unreachable, except she calls.

So one day,I was just somewhere when a call from from a number not on my contact came. The call went like this:

Me:Hello

Her: Good morning, it's me Amina

Me:oh Good morning,how are you?

Her: I'm fine,you?

Me: I'm fine too

Her: Thank God. Please I need some money, like 50cedis(5000naira)

Me: ok. Where should I send it to?

Her: this number. The name is ****

After the call I sent the money straight away. After that day,it became regular. She would call severally in a month to request for money, and I sent every time she requested.

Because of her frequent demand from me,I felt I should propose, Thursday she came back for Easter holiday.

Today I spoke with her about the possibility of dating her,and she rejected my proposal straight away. When I asked why she said I'm not a Muslim, that she needs a serious Muslim, not even a part time Muslim.

Then I asked if she will accept if I become a Muslim. She said no,she needs someone that will even teach her more about Islam.

I said ok, that's fine. I'll move on.

I wanted to tell her straight up to stop calling me when she get back to school, for some reasons I didn't,but within me I know I can never send her money.

PLEASE AM I BEING HARSH ON HER?
I have a sinking feeling that you cannot resist sending money to the girl, you are a good man and a gentleman to wait till she is 18yrs to propose and also give her money anytime she asks, you may not believe but your good man behavior maybe the reason she is not interested in a relationship with you,she may even be unhappy that you are forming big boy when she is giving you green light at 15yrs

the genesis of your problems is in the first lines of your comment, that you are not financial stable, things are not working according to plan and you are still struggling.
Women has this uncanny ability to sense such and to aviod such men, financial freedom gives a man self confidence and an invisible aura that women can easily detect,if you want a woman you must face reality and reduce your standards, you cannot be in such dire situation and still have the luxury of choice, there are women that wants you but you are not seeing them due to the standard you set, just manage them for the meantime ,I call them bush allowances, not at all na witch.

Romance / Re: How Do I Let Him Know That His Fiancée Is Cheating On Him? by okoroemeka(m): 11:53pm On Mar 28
Chenzee:
My very good friend who works as a security in a bank(though a graduate) and does other menial jobs just to keep head above the waters, has a fiancée whom he adores so much. He would always tell us how he can't wait to marry her, and how she won't allow anyone touch her (him inclusive) until her wedding night (the main reason why He's fallen head over heels for her). He proudly calls her his angel in public.

There is this pompous, dark complexioned married Hausa man. He's not just ugly but dirty, and has this disgusting habit of repeatedly scratching his itchy scrotum even in public places. The irony here is, despite all these disgusting and dirty stuffs; he is highly successful in his place of work.

This Hausa man is a chronic womaniser who is only interested in sleeping with young Christian ladies (mostly from the university or the polytechnic in the city). He's the "kiss and tell type" (most men are). He eats the "forbidden fruit" in his friend's room (the friend who is always not around due tight schedules) which is in the compound I stay.

One fateful evening he brought a lady from the state polytechnic for his usual sexcapade. She wore a black gown and veil that covered her face. I was going out to get myself some cold drinks (as Kano was very hot then), when we coincidentally bumped into each other (myself, Alhaji and the lady). Her veil accidentally fell off her face. I saw a pretty face and passed before she could pick the veil from the floor. The face rang a bell, but because I was in a haste, I couldn't place a finger. After he had fully fed his libido, he'd come out and tell us everything that happened in "za oza room" as if we asked.

He grew fond of this particular lady as though he'd customise her (into his personal LovePeddler). And every time he'd gist us everything that happened. I grew so irritated of him and the lady (though I've never seen her before that time).
On a certain Saturday I decided to visit my friend because he had been pestering me to come see his angelic fiancée. Lo and behold! It's Alhaji's intimacy gadget. I recognized her but she'd never seen me before. I was in shock but had to pretend to have never seen her before.

Dilemma. Should I tell him or not?
If yes then how do I go about it?
Do you think she'd change when she eventually gets married?
It will definitely hurt him, but will he believe me?
So many things running through my mind.
Haaahaaaa!!! Joy killer, why not mind your business, don't you know that whatever you give a monkey without giving it banana it will not be happy

Romance / Re: What's Your Opinion About Splitting Bills With Your Partner? by okoroemeka(m): 11:43pm On Mar 28
labake1:
According to the UK nurse's statements, a man who is not capable of taking care of his family, shouldn't get married. I think this controversy started because of Kie kie's interview.
Bills splitting can be 50/50, 60/40, 70/30, I think all this depends on the financial strength of a man.

My opinion is, just like the nurse said, a man should be capable before getting married even if your wife will assist you, it should be little. A wife should help her husband out if he has financial challenges and husband that have financial challenges shouldn't just sit back and watch their wife do things. Try and do little things till you stand firm.

What's your opinion about splitting bills with your partner?
I am not splitting anything with a woman,I pay my bills and children's bills, that is why we hustle to make money as men,I don't care how much she makes,I truly don't care, why will I care, what is she making in the first place to split,if she wants to buy maggi or pants with her money that's is ok,but seriously I don't care

Romance / Re: How To Be Become Rich In Life by okoroemeka(m): 5:28pm On Mar 28
Mikelincon001:
If you're interested in becoming rich through handwork in a more artistic or craft-based context, here are steps and principles to consider on your path to success: 1. **Develop Your Craft**: Whether you're a painter, sculptor, woodworker, or any other type of artisan, spend time honing your skills. Take classes, practice diligently, and continually seek to improve your technique and style. 2. **Find Your Niche**: Look for a market or audience that appreciates and is willing to pay for your handcrafted work. This could be anything from fine art collectors to individuals who appreciate handmade furniture. 3. **Create a Portfolio**: Build a collection of your work to showcase your skills and style. A strong portfolio is crucial to attracting buyers and commissions. 4. **Price Your Work Appropriately**: Research how similar works are priced and consider your time, materials, and the uniqueness of your craft when setting prices. 5. **Market Your Work**: Use social media, local art fairs, galleries, and word of mouth to promote your work. Building a brand and online presence can help you reach a wider audience. 6. **Network**: Connect with other artists, potential clients, and industry professionals. Networking can lead to collaborative projects, new sales channels, and increased visibility. 7. **Sell Online**: Consider selling your work on platforms like Etsy, Artfinder, or your own website. Online sales can supplement income from physical galleries or markets. 8. **Diversify Your Revenue Streams**: Think about teaching workshops, creating instructional content, or licensing your designs to create additional income sources. 9. **Manage Your Finances**: Keep track of your income and expenses, and reinvest in your business as needed. Proper financial management will help ensure that your handwork is not only artistically fulfilling but also financially sustainable. 10. **Protect Your Work**: Understand copyright and intellectual property laws to protect your creations. You might also want to look into insurance to safeguard your pieces and materials. 11. **Seek Feedback and Adapt**: Listen to feedback from customers and peers to improve your work and respond to market demands. Being adaptable can lead to new opportunities and growth. 12. **Stay Persistent and Patient**: Building a reputation and client base takes time. Continue to produce high-quality work and be patient as your business grows. 13. **Balance Creativity with Business Sense**: Being successful in selling handwork requires balancing creativity with a good sense of business. Be open to learning about marketing, sales, and customer service. 14. **Give Back**: As with any form of wealth, sharing your success through mentorship or supporting community projects can be very rewarding and can enhance your reputation as an artist. Remember that becoming rich through handwork, especially in the arts and crafts sector, often means more than just financial gain. Many artists and artisans find richness in the satisfaction of creating something with their hands and in the autonomy they have in their work. Wealth can come in the form of a fulfilling career and lifestyle, not just in monetary terms.
