kpiper2473:I am employed and also owned a business, I got a refusal in my first application and the second I got an approval. He shouldn't phase out owning a business, he should ensure his business is active on the CAC platform, all his business dealings Sales and purchase invoices should be intact. And also he should address the refusal reasons with evidence. Lastly his Salary account and business account should be different. |
BruceXavier:Okay, thanks |

[quote author=pufframmy post=136314454]congratulation can you share what change First reason they gave was I said I spend 120,000 monthly and 8 have a debit of 1M. Second was that they are not sure if my friend and I are still in constant communication and she may not be there for me when I visit. So in my new application I added invoice for the 1M and WhatsApp voice and calls from April 2024 to June 2025. Documents added: Savings account statement from 1st of Dec to 2nd of July Salary account: 2 months + statement CAC documents Consent letter from Hubby Marriage certificate Children birth certificate Family pictures Sales and purchase invoices My 2 kids admission letters Work place introduction letter Appointment letter Last promotion Payslips Cover letter . Why my salary account was 2 months+ was that I changed my mind of waiting till next year to reapply so I removed huge sum few days later my UK friend told me that I shouldn't leave till next year to reapply and that she will pay the application fee, so I put the money back into the account immediately that was in April and printed the statement on July 2nd. I was scared of the 2 months + Salary Statement but Baba God did it. |
VISA ALERT I got a refusal on February 19 Re-applied and did Biometric on July 10 Collection mail on July 29. My sister picked it up today God did it. Thanks to the gurus in the house. |
jmoore:You will pay higher, it happened to me I wanted to pay at the centre they told me #56,000. |
Happy Easter Sunday Pls Gurus in the house, can monthly upkeep for family and wife pay into account from husband stands also as other income? |
xeexee7:Congratulations, Please kindly share what you did differently after the Refusal. |
giselle237 Unfortunately been salaried and also self employed at same time are quite tricky for visa applications. If you want to be considered on both, I am unsure if you provided full documentation for both- providing business account in isolation does not guarantee that this business automatically got considered as a source of income. It is not about ‘saying’ something … it is about proofs… What about this business did you prove? ECO clearly spoke about only salary earning. Unfortunately I do not see how you want to reapply without doing your own homework first and arranging the economic circumstances you are presenting. Government establishments Salaries are very low, u combine side hustles with the job to meet up with responsibilities. The business was registered in 2020 and co-owned by my hubby and I, is also active in CAC. I added sales receipts but didn't add bought receipts. |
What were you buying and selling that resulted to large deposits and withdrawals shown in your savings/business account and why couldn't you provide receipts to prove this? I sell woods, I have a registered company co- owned by my hubby and i and is active in CAC. I added receipts for sale but didn't add receipts for buying, my bad. |
[quote author=sanyaolurilwan post=134221486]You'll have to explain all sir. Between: which date did you do your biometrics? 5th February |
@giselle237 I submitted two accounts, one is my Salary and the other is my savings/ business account, the account stated in the refusal is my savings/ business account, i have large deposits and large withdrawals for buying and selling on this account which was clearly stated in the cover letter, my salary account doesn't have other deposits except my monthly payments. |
Good day Gurus in the house, pls how soon can I reapply to address the reasons for refusal? REASONS FOR REFUSAL NRA v 1.0 You have applied for a visa to visit the UK. In deciding whether you meet the requirements of Appendix V: of the Immigration Rules for visitors (https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration-rules/immigration-rules-appendix-v-visitor- rules), I have considered: • your application • your immigration history The decision I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of paragraph(s) V4.2 to V4.6 of Appendix V: Immigration Rules for Visitors because: • You state you are travelling to the UK for 9 days for tourism and visiting friends. • You state you are employed earning 339542.00 NGN (178.37 GBP) each month. you state you spend 120000.00 NGN (63.04 GBP) each month. In support of your application, you have provided a bank statement for account ending in 5716. I note a debit of 1000000 NGN (525.33 GBP) on 03/12/2024. This single debit is significantly higher than your total stated monthly expenditure. In the absence of further information, I am not satisfied that you have provided a true reflection of your circumstances in your home country. This damages the credibility of your application. • Additionally, you state you will be staying with a friend at her accommodation for the duration of your visit. I acknowledge the letter of invitation and photographs you have provided in support of this. However, I note this does not demonstrate the stated relationship you have with your sponsor. You have not demonstrated that you have regularly kept in touch and have subsisting relationship. As such, I am not satisfied you have a genuine personal relationship with your sponsor, and they will provide the stated support during your visit. This also damages the credibility of your application leading me to doubt your intentions to travel are as stated. • The factors mentioned above have not been taken in isolation but considered collectively. They damage the overall credibility of your application, leading me to doubt your intentions in seeking to visit the UK for the limited period and purpose stated. From the information on your application form and the documents you have submitted, I am not satisfied that you intend to leave the United Kingdom or that you are genuinely seeking entry as a visitor. Your application is therefore refused under paragraph V4.2 (a) and (c) of the Immigration Rules. • Additionally, I am not satisfied that you have a genuine professional or personal relationship with your sponsor. Furthermore, I am not satisfied that they can and will provide you with support for the intended duration of your stay. Your application is therefore refused under paragraph V 4.3 (a) and (c) of the Immigration Rules. • Rate of exchange 1 GBP = 1901.78 NGN (as on www.oanda.com 19/02 |
Thanks for the advice, but I have other big sum withdrawals too, should I explain all? @sanyaolurilwan |
