The Nigerian security agencies (the police and army in particular) has made it a tradition to extort from motorist especially in the southern part of our country. But the past few months was an exception due to the activities of " Unknown Gun Men Crusaders".This simply means that our security agents takes advantage of the peacefulness in the South to extort motorist.

As at today, i saw more than 34 police and 17 Army checking points from Enugu to Aba


Few days ago saw an Hausa Tanker driver carrying petrol to the North and he was stopped by the army because he didn't have enough money to settle them. He told me that they use to settle the army with #5,000 and he had only #2,000. Now imagine how many checkpoints (from porthacort) he will be paying 5k till he reaches the north.

The army are fund of extorting Tanker and Haulage truck (tipper and Mack) drivers, any vehicle carrying goods .

The police on the other hand extort transporters #100 and once they see you carrying valuable items as especially food items you will give them money. people are forced to pay to avoid being delayed.

A typical transporter in the south after collecting fares from passengers, he will calculate fuel money and reserve police money..WTF.

The roads have been peaceful since the past few months, mounting roadblocks and creating unnecessary check points on "express ways" is very bad.

Nigerian police are "third world cops"

All "third word cops" behaves like that
