The Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka has uploaded the merit admission list for the 2017/2018 academic session online.

The management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University has released the list of admitted candidates for 2017/2018 academic session.

Candidates who applied for admission in the university can check their admission status on the school portal.


HOW TO CHECK UNIZIK ADMISSION LIST.
Follow the procedure below to check your admission status

-Log on to http://portal.unizik.edu.ng/utme-screening/2017_2018/index.html
-Scroll down and click on "Continue"
-Enter your email and Password in the spaces provided
-Click on "Login" and proceed to view your admission details
-Click Login to access your UNIZIK admission status.
Successfully admitted candidates are to begin necessary registrations without delay. Also note that lectures will begin for old and new students on Monday, 27th November 2017 as scheduled.


There are two significant changes that made me believe that uploading of names is going on..
First, when you click on admission status, You then must have logged in,it now shows "Check Admission status" instead of the previous "Check application status"
Secondly, when you click on "check admission status" it will pop up a page of java script as if it were a web programming page,it does not show blank any more.
This two changes show that something is going on right now on the portal, I advice everyone to start checking right now..

1)Not Admitted: This Means Your First Choice and Other Choice You Picked When Registering for Jamb None Have Offered You Admission In This Case Don't Accept Yet

2) Recommended : This Means The Institution You Picked Haven't Given You Admission and There's a Chance That Institution Won't Give you admission Or Release Another List, So If you Click Accept, Jamb Will Automatically Put You in the Market Place that's Assign You to another University That Wants You Whether You picked them or not so after clicking accept keep checking the acceptance page to be notified of your fresh admission

3)Approved: Congratulations You've been Admitted Accept Immediately that's if you want the admission

4) Admitted: Congratulations!..For Some people It Won't Show Approved, it will show admitted Just accept Either one you see.
Every JAMBITES who have been offered admission are endeavour to login to their jamb profile portal and accept the admission via CAPS link if they're fully satisfied with given admission from the institutions chosen!!

Please and please if your yet to be offered admission yet by your chosen institutions don't, i repeat don't accept admission yet on CAPS , But if the webpage says Approved You can accept Even If the List Haven't been released, but if the site is saying Not admitted don't accept �(risky), just hold-on till your chosen institution offer you admission to your desire/other course you know you can study���

Hello nairaland Zikites so i took it on myself to visit unizik concerning this year's unizik admission list which have been delayed unnecessarily . i Wen to the administrative block at perm site to make inquiries, now am happy i did.


Good-news is i was assure that the admission list would be out by next week that the Election was the reason for the delay, we all know how elections conduct can be in this our country so to avert situates of exposing admitted students for clearance to panic the Unizik 2017/2018 admission would be released after the election 18th of this month.



Lets share ideas on this thread, state you course and score

mine is Mass comm, my jamb is 248 and post ume 52.

I want to know if one can apply for change of course after admission in case one wasn't given their preferred course ?


yes u cn change ur course.
after year 1 or whenever you like.
butt its always better after yearr1 because whenver you change course you are starting from year2.
so its better you change course after your year1


How can the person change course After

you can change course by buying change of course form.
inside the school.
its a long process though.
it takes months to complete
you will fill the form and then take it to many people to sign..
1) HOD of your department
2) dean of your faculty
3) HOD of the department u want to enter
4) Dean of the faculty you want to enter
5) The registrar

Gettng these five people to sign dat form will take you more than two months
Then u go to Your department and you request they should sign you out

***but before then you have to go to the department you want to enter and present your results.
so that they will tell you if they will sign You into their department or not .
Then if they agree to sign you in..... you can now go and be signed out frm your department.

STATUS
1.visit the jamb caps admission status checks
via the link below http://caps.jamb.gov.ng/acceptadmission.aspx

2.login with your jamb registration number
3.click on the submit button on the left side to view caps admission status. Report has it that, most candidates saw the‘Not admitted’ notification on their CAPS portal which simply means that they have not been offered provisional admission at their institution of choice, So therefore you are all advised not to click on the ‘ACCEPT’ icon until your admission status changes to ” ADMITTED”, clicking on the ‘ACCEPT’ icon simply means you’ve accepted a non- existent admission. By the time your school of choice releases her admission list,you will not only see the “ACCEPT” icon but also a ‘DECLINE’ icon .


You are enjoined not to click on the ‘ACCEPT’ icon until you receive an admission notification from your institution of choice. Please note, To those who might have clicked on the ‘ACCEPT’ icon, your action implies that you have accepted the course and institution
choice, so you won’t be placed in the JAMB proposed CAPS market place peradventure you were not later offered provisional admission in your school of choice.

Everyone is implored to wait for their institution of choice to release her admission list which on release changes your CAPS admission status which still shows ‘Not Admitted’ to ‘Admitted’ then you accept if you want and ‘DECLINE’ if you don’t, but if by then it still shows NOT ADMITTED, then you will be placed in the CAPS MARKET PLACE waiting for schools that couldn’t meet up with their admission quota to admit you on request.

Lastly, for those who might have already clicked on the ‘ACCEPT’ icon, all you could to help is by praying and hoping that you get admitted into your school of choice because you have automatically disqualified yourself from being returned to the CAPS market place if you were not later admitted. Pls don’t share your jamb regularisation number with anyone… No matter what….

Enter your JAMB UTME registration number in the space provided Click on Admission Status
Click the Next button to check your admission status.
