Porto novo although the capital of Benin is only a town of importance ON PAPER. It is like any other town in Benin Republic. The real capital of Benin is Cotonou. Even Bohicon and Calavi get more importat projects and infrastructure than porto Novo, that is to tell you how unimportant the town is.
Besides, as small as Benin is, how many Nigerian towns are better than Cotonou in terms of overall development? Residents of Cotonou enjoy so many things I can't list here, that your average Nigerian Aba or Asaba resident can never dream of till 2120, but yes, continue being the worm that you are.

What is even your point exactly? that two seperate countries historically under two different colonial systems, one British and one French which has led to a great difference in terms of ideology and imperial legacies between Yoruba Nigerians and Yoruba Beninese people should have the same outlook? So If Igboland were to be an independent former French colony, would it be better than Congo today ? Afterall, in every other single aspect I can absolutely compare Igbos and Congolese people.
