I think this whole stuff is a good idea, because it will further improve the standard at which nigerian enginineers are viewed both at home and abroad, just as our medical counterparts. But the platform on which to efffect this is not feasible at the moment, infact no goverment policy is feasible even a common tenureship in the nigerian constitution is wabbling. Hence, let's forget it for now and focus on utilizing the FIVE years we are currently spending at the uni which sometimes are vain and void. If gov. insists on maintaining the policy, the duration of the enginnering courses should be reduced so we can fend for our selves and not depend on our mentors the more....MY POP HAS ONLY AGREED TO FEED, SHELTER AND PROVIDE FOR ME FOR ONLY SIX YEARS INCLUDING MY NYSC !!!!!!
